1. why can't you play as an arrancar? they are SOOOOO awesome!

2.what level of reiatsu is considered"captain class?"

3. what do you need to do to achive bankai?*:o:

4.around what skill level can certain fights start becoming"easy"?

5.are we allowed to have weird sealed zanpakuto(ie: something like tier harribel's "tiburon"), or should we just have a normal sword?

6. what is "kan", how do we get it, and where do we USE it?

7. how do we check our word count? i can't imagine we'd have to tally EVERY SINGLE WORD........ right?

*don't give me crap about"getting ahead of myself", i want Mah bankai, i squee at the very thought of it!:D

In order:

1) Arrancar have never been a PC class as in HD they denote around the 20k+ lvl reiatsu. And in order to get that lvl you would have to first play a mindless hollow for months with everyone wanting to kill you before even maybe getting the chance to remove your mask.

2) Captain level is subjective bare minimum would be bankai level which is 15k reiatsu.

3) We give max 50 points per 1000 words so to reach bankai would be 300,000 words graded perfectly baring any other bonuses.

4) Easy is subjective for someone at 1k a person at 100 rei is "easy", for a person at 10k the same 1k person becomes a trivial fight. All depends on the rei level of the opponent. General rule is the higher you get the larger the range where fights are interesting and its not a 1 hit ko either way.

5) To get an exotic sealed form you would need to use kan to buy the exotic sealed form ability.

Hey, has anyone noticed...

not that it really matters, but have you noticed that nobody ever posts a real location in the "location" spot? it's always some random crap....

not that i can complain, though, with my lame "right behind you" location, but still.

Because if I put "San Diego, California" for mine, you could come and find me and kill/rob/fondle me.

You'd probably have to go knocking door-to-door at every house in the city (pop. ~1,300,000) before you found me, but you'd find me eventually.

As Shade said, Arrancar are very high-class hollows, so it would make little sense to start as one. That's kind of like asking why you can't play as a captain. With the way the RP works, though, you have your main Player Character (PC), and can write as many Non-Player Characters (NPCs) as suits your writing. Hollows in general are better suited for NPC roles since every race wants to kill them (even other hollows) and no one likes having to make a new character every other week.

The lowest captain class is 15-20,000 reiatsu. Right now the strongest character (mine) is at about 85,000 reiatsu, before releasing his zanpakuto.

To achieve Bankai, first you must reach Shikai (minimum of 1,000 Reiatsu). At 10,000 Reiatsu it becomes possible to manifest your zanpakuto spirit in the real world, and from there you can begin training with your spirit to attain Bankai (minimum of 15,000 Reiatsu). You could get Bankai right at 15k or even hold off until 30k if you wanted -- just know that the minimum is 15k. The particulars on how you earn your zanpakuto spirit's respect and loyalty vary from character to character, so be creative!

Shady's right about 'easy' being relative. All fights will be hard at first, but around 1,000 -- when you attain your Shikai -- is when you first start getting more options in a fight, and can start winning more fights on your own level.

In canon Bleach, 'kan' is what Rukia was paid for certain high-class hollow bounties. Only particular hollows like Shrieker gave Kan, and she used the Kan to pay Urahara for different goods. In our RP, Kan is a general use currency to buy RP-related goods like Custom Sealed Forms, Collab Bonuses, Resubmissions, and so forth. You can earn it a variety of ways, including doing "Tsuika Ryoukin" hollow bounties (there are even some at a level for a new player to tackle), earning Achievements, participating in training collabs, and others that pop up from time to time. Once a GM adds the Kan to your forum profile, you can spend it in the Forum's Market.

Don't confuse Kan with XP, though. XP comes automatically with forum activity (posting, viewing, giving/recieving reputation, etc) and is used to purchase things like colored user titles. Go ahead and take a look through the Market, linked on the top navigation bar.

@swaswj

thanks, that really cleared stuff up. but the market place is kind of confusing. could you explain how it works? like where to find certain items, how to buy things, how to look things up , ie: pretty much explain the whole thing? sorry if i'm asking for a lot, i'm really not a computer guy.

p.s. what i'm most interested in is the custom sealed zanpakuto, as you can probably tell. that's all i really want to know how to buy. tyvm.

p.p.s. never mind, i figured it out.

quick question...

how does one keep track of the weeks? they're really confusing. thanks!

I be sad...

all the GOOD ideas for zanpakuto's have already been taken by bleach!

...it's not fair! my zanpakuto was pretty much gonna be gin's, but now i have some lame "disabling" kai.

:(

....so yeah, this was pretty much just a rant. offer what you have to say!

Please!

....so, how does one change their background? i want to look cool when posting. kthxby.

derping around....

hey everyone , post your favorite ships!

don't worry, i won't judge you, i don't even know who most people are.

quick question...again.

what does xp do?

and... what are achievements for?

suspicion arises....

i have noticed, in the EN applications, you can have a kekkei genkai with seemingly no repercussions.

bloodlines are total Haxx, and we seem to get away with this with no problems. Is this just me, or am i missing something?

Btw, i call hyoton.

As you may have noticed EN doesn't have any activity as of late, as such it is not possible to apply for it either.

However, I believe that if sufficient interest comes back to it, it might get reopened.

For now, though, stick to applying for Halcyon Days.

The moment you think your kai is 'lame', is the moment you should delete it and rework it.
There is no point in having something you don't enjoy writing about, but I will have to disagree with you on the "All the cool zanpakutou ideas are taken by canon bleach," as that is by far the biggest, worst excuse ever.

Canon Bleach releases are, for the most part, lame, incredibly op, and a swiss army knife all round.

Especially Ichigo's release is pretty much the epitome of failure.

If we were to translate his shikai and bankai into HD terms it would be something like this:

Shikai: One energy based attack, and one overly large broadsword of inappropriate proportions.
Bankai: One energy based attack, a silly suit and a 50% boost to his hohou stat.

That's actually a really bad release.

Now back to our RP, we have between ten and twenty captan-class shinigami, all of which have a shikai and at least 75% has a bankai.
Why don't you read through them, and see what kinf of awesomeness we came up with?

Better yet, go to the submissions area and check the Kai FAQ for help.

There is no such thing as all the cool kais have been taken, you're simply not thinking it through hard enough.
