It's always going to be like that. It's almost guaranteed that we'll have something like FKT again and more than once. The Rescue arc, the Bount arc, the Hueco Mundo arc is just going to be a bunch of fights with minimal plot movement in between. I'm just hoping that Kubo can evolve beyond that and introduce new elements to make the story more profound and exciting than the fighting.

That Kubo interview thread said that people that we thought were more than likely dead could be coming back. I'd much rather see new characters introduced than Kubo just bringing back the Espada and Arrancars.
 
Have to say I'm not very excited/surprised by what Kubo is doing and revealing...except for the whole Mayuri drama. That is actually pretty exciting...i like the spin and am excited to see where that could go.
