Ok so as recently discussed a number of people in HD began work on A Naruto RPG here. It was never completed due to time constraints and loss of interest however recently we have some renewed interest in the idea. This thread is for any thoughts and to test to see if there's enough interest to warrant us spending time to finish it up.
 
As interested as I would be, it's hard enough to keep up with Halcyon Days, let alone balance two RPs that require constant input. That's just me, though. I think it's a sound concept, and if the mechanics are similar to HD than that's a bonus, but I can't see myself juggling both :<
 
We totally understand the whole balancing of two RP thing. We're trying to keep this one a bit more casual and laid back, and things with how this system is set up can easily be changed so that it isn't week--->week intense. We just thought it would be a fun thing to write when in a writing slump and the like. Of course, if you're totally into this RP then yeah, it'll benefit you as well~
 
Also to go with what hiren said, everyone can stop being all apologetic about not having time xD We're all in HD and understand the commitment it takes, on top of RL responsibilities. This is meant just to be a gauge as to what an interest level would be. Not anything like who will be the top 10 on the site.

So after talking it over with Shady and Hiren, we all came to the common agreement that we should indeed make Elusive Nights more casual to account for those involved in Halcyon Days (what with being the spiritual 'brother' RP to Halcyon Days).

Mulling over a few ideas, the conclusion was to institute two things:
1) To increase the grading periods from being a weekly basis to a bi-weekly basis (2 weeks of writing, not 1)
2) To increase the grades earned per 1000 words to offset the relatively more complex stat sheet and to allow for decent payoff even given the relatively low amount of writing that will (most likely) be done.

Thoughts, opinions, concerns...?
 
I had a character in a "professional" text-based roleplaying site that is Naruto-based and it was a pain in the ass just to get started so I already have my character ready.

I'm 100% for Elusive Nights especially with all you guys there.
 
as long as casual is the theme here, I'm totally into it!

I'm working on my character right now. All newbies prepare to have their asses kicked. And punched. You might want to prepare the rest of your body too.
