This kind of goes back to an idea I had earlier, but I think we really need to start expanding on this forum. Sure HD section is always alive, but if you look at any place outside of the HD hub, there's nothing going on at all. So, what I'm suggesting is a sort of systematic revival of the forum. Not only would it actually make having the other sections useful, but the increased buzz on the other topics will boost up our forum and make it more appealing for others to join.
So, what I'm thinking is simple. We'll have forum 'Topic Leaders' who pretty much control a single area of the forum, like GFX and what not. It's their job to start making threads and staying active in each area. Though, for this to work, other people need to be active. That means stuff like taking some of the stuff we chat about, like video games and music, in AIM and actually making new forum threads for this. Personally, I don't find it that difficult to just make posts instead.
If you're interested in running a topic, then choose one off the list. Note, if you take a topic but don't end up doing anything with the section, well you'll be replaced. Who knows, maybe I can talk to will about giving EXP or some type of reward to active people.
