Kreuz von Erhabenheit (崇高の十字; lit. “Cross of Sublimity”)

Appearance
The Kreuz von Erhabenheit comes in the form of an auxiliary pentacle cross that hangs from the small ring at the center of the trinket. There are a pair of wings on the back as well which shimmer brightly when reishi is drawn to the item. It is smaller than the standard Quincy cross, able to fit wholly in the palm of Rudo’s hand. It hangs from a thin, silver chain attached to his belt.

Ability
As with all Quincy crosses, it is designed as a focal point for the user to gather ambient spirit particles in the air. Unlike most, however, the form created by the cross is instead immense wings that which hover off of Rudo’s back when manifested. Spanning fifteen feet from tip to tip, the wings are massive yet are surprisingly dexterous. In actuality, the primary mechanic involved in locomotion is the intensely-precise displacement of reishi particles gathered around Rudo; instantaneous acceleration and deceleration at any angle are possible, with the speed of movement being determined by his Douryuu stat.

Activation of the Kreuz von Erhabenheit costs 1,000 Shuuhaku per round, and cannot be powered by Reiatsu. Damage to the wings can be repaired by paying half the cost.

Acquisition
In exploring the deeper recesses of the Aldridge labyrinth, Rudo uncovered the long-forgotten names of faces of his ancestry and one of their legacies: soul-synthesized silver and the means to mass produce it. Deeper still was the forgery where he received the unexpected aid of one of his distant and last-remaining relatives in fashioning the special cross.

- Inertia is retained with movement. Can't stop on a dime without a lot of Douryuu to back it up.
- Fragile but you can repair them on the spot, if they take any significant hits they'll vanish but you can pay out immediately to get them back (this means a 1500 Shuuhaku cost if they get hit and you want them back right away)
- Height limited to 1km.

That said, the laws of nature are not easy to defy, and so any inertia on Rudo's part is retained should the wings deactivate or attempt to decelerate, with the speed of movement (including deceleration) being determined by his Douryuu stat. Similarly, reishi cannot gather so thickly in the skies, limiting Rudo to a 1km height while the Kreuz is in use.

Activation of the Kreuz von Erhabenheit costs 1,000 Shuuhaku per round, and cannot be powered by Reiatsu. Should the wings take significant damage, they dissipate immediately, and require an additional 500 Shuuhaku to repair in addition to requiring reactivation.
