Release Submission Thread

Will said it was cool for me to resubmit. If not, with the latest awards I achieved I should have enough kan to buy a resub, so let me know.

Shikai: 紫電 – Shiden - "Swordflash"

Release: “Kire, Shiden”

The only noticeable trait of Shiden’s shikai is that its blade seems permanently incandescent. No other form change or special characteristic is displayed by the zanpakutou after release.

Ability: 空翔斬 - Kuushouzan - "Empty Soar Slash"

By paying a fixed cost of 500 reiatsu per slash, Tetsuo is able to phase the slashing motion of his blade through space to a maximum range of 50 feet and a minimum range of 10 feet. Essentially, this means that Tetsuo can cut his targets without moving, but by simply cutting the space before him and phasing the cut unto the enemy’s position. The transfer occurs instantaneously. These slashes can be blocked normally, and they do not carry any special characteristics whatsoever. Speed, damage and all other traits are directly related to Tetsuo’s Zanjutsu.

Attack: 月影昇舞 - Getsuei Shoubu - "Moon Shadow Rising Dance"

By paying 5% of his Reiatsu, Tetsuo uses shunpo to move towards any location. As he exits the motion, a myriad of invisible sword cuts ravage the expanse of the path he travelled, razing all that still stands on it. The distance of the used shunpo must be equal or less than ten meters; otherwise the attack cannot be used.

Bankai: 紫電一千 - Shiden Issen - "One Thousand Sword Flashes”

Tetsuo’s Bankai capitalizes on the shinigami’s most fatal asset – his ability with a sword. After release, an area relative to a sphere of fifty meters in diameter centered on Tetsuo is turned into a realm where Tetsuo’s ability to cut is heightened to astonishing degrees. All of the Bankai abilities have their maximum reach capped by the sphere’s limits.

Ability: 次元斬 - Jigenzan - "Dimension Slash"

Jigenzan allows Tetsuo to cut space without a single motion of his sword, but merely by willing it to happen. The form of such cuts is basically the same as if a real katana executed the motion, save for their size: each one is three meters in length and fifty centimeters in width. Tetsuo can, and most surely will, use Jigenzan more than once at a time, although he is limited to six uses per turn and three simultaneously. Tetsuo can also alter their size by adding two or more together, with the expansion being proportional to the number of cuts added up; this leads to a decrease on the number of possible uses equally proportional to how many were merged. Speed and damage of the slashes are all relative to Tetsuo’s Zanjutsu.

Attack 1: 蒼破球 – Souhakyuu – “Pale Destruction Sphere”

By paying 5% of his reiatsu, Tetsuo can create a lucid sphere of approximately one meter in diameter within the reach of his Bankai. The orb will remain motionless and harmless unless one of two things happens. If an enemy (or any of its body parts) enters the sphere at any moment, the sphere’s insides will be ravaged by a myriad of sword cuts, completely obliterating what was within along with the sphere itself. Alternatively, Tetsuo can command the same thing to happen whenever he so wishes in order to distract, or catch and enemy off-guard before it enters the globe’s range. No more than three spheres can be present in the field at the same time.

Attack 2: 護法蓮 – Gouhouren – “Protection Method Lotus”

By altering the function of Jigenzan, Tetsuo can turn it into a defensive ability. By infusing each cut with 2% of his reiatsu, Tetsuo can project the slashes in the way of incoming attacks (physical or spiritual) and halt, delay or completely nullify said attacks. More than one Jigenzan can be used for this, although it means that fewer will be available for offensive uses.

Attack 3: 真神煉獄刹 - Majin Rengokusatsu - "True God Purgatory Temple"

By spending 20% of his reiatsu, Tetsuo can give form and shape to all six cuts of Jigenzan as blades of pure reiatsu. Appearance wise, each blade resembles a nodachi with the blade’s length and width exactly the same as a Jigenzan slash. These blades hover around him, granting the shinigami the ability to attack with them as he so desires, without the usual restraints of Jigenzan. Tetsuo has no need to physically wield them, instead being able to control them via thought. The number of attacks that can be made with the blades at his immediate disposal is entirely up to Tetsuo’s creativity, and truly are the reason for his Bankai’s name. The obvious side-effect is that during the attack's duration, both Jigenzan and Gouhouren are unusable.

Assuming that I understood you correctly on the cost change for ability three, here are the suggested alterations.

[ Tenchi-kyo ] - 天地橋

(Heaven and Earth Bridge)

A creature of the celestial realms, a godlike being in his own right, Doujin Kotoku possesses the remarkable ability of flight. A 1% payment is required to achieve elevation. There is no maximum altitude once airborne, and the dragon is capable of moving at a rate equivalent to his current speed statistic. Beyond the initial cost no energy must be expended to remain airborne but subsequent payment is required to fly again in the event of landing.

[ Metsudo ] - 滅度
(Extinguishing Illusion and Passing Over to Nirvana)

Darkness always makes way for purifying light. By way of this truth Doujin Kotoku may cleanse the world of its evils and impurities. By paying a minimum 2% of his current reserve - with a limit of 10% in a single turn - the dragon will call forth a luminous blast of torrential crimson fire that originates from his very burning core and unleash it in a widening cone-shaped blast with a total range of twenty-five meters. The attack may be channeled over multiple turns, its output increasing by the original cost once per round for a total of five consecutive rounds, after which the fire is quelled. The stream travels at a rate equal to the dragon's ability statistic.

Being caught in its embrace is akin to being baptized in holy fire; the divine might of the flames is all-consuming and powerful. As one is devoured by the conflagration they are imparted visions of peace and serenity; a feeling of wholeness and calm not unlike floating in paradise.

Buyin' a kai resub...more of a refinement really.

Current Kai
Appearance: Kalu’aita lengthens its blade to nearly four and a half feet and the hilt becomes just under two feet in length. The blade thickens slightly but remains slender, not thicker than a man’s forearm. The point of the weapon becomes more pronounced and defined. The brilliant shine of the sealed blade becomes replaced by the look of iron though the etching on the body remains bright and stands out powerfully flashing sometimes with silver energy. There is now a second wolf visible and neither are prowling, but caught in pursuit of something yet unseen. The weapon remains without a guard and the hilt is still wrapped in the same leather though the wolf’s head ornament is now dangling from the point at which blade and hilt meet. While the weapon is now nearly six feet long it is deceptively elegant. It weighs enough that one could believe it to actually be made of iron were it not so razor sharp. Zak only wields the weapon through the blessing of Kalu’aita, her energy flows and grants him the strength to use it effectively. While finally free of his chains his blade remains attached to him by tendrils of the silvery blue reiatsu periodically dance from the blade’s etchings connecting to the scarification symbols carved into his arms. This energy works just like his old chain, Zak can not wield the weapon by this but uses it to remove (or sheath) the weapon from his back or retrieve it from short distances.

The weapon’s sheath moves to his back and adjusts in size to be able to hold the weapon if needed.

While released his skin is very warm to the point of being uncomfortable to be in contact with and occasional wisps of smoke flow from his nostrils and mouth when he breathes. Before he never understood why this happened to him in his shikai state, now he knows it was Kalu’aita trying to burn through Iblis‘ corruption and now that she is free her fire burns intently.

Touch of Destruction: (Attack) Touch creates the effect of a double assault from Zak's blade. This is not an energy assault but instead creates a cutting and impact effect exactly as though a second blade impacts on the same spot a few moments later. Contact must have been made for this power to activate and while the attack does not project, and enemy who is knocked away by the initial assault will still suffer the second even if they are yards away when it hits. Blocking can be confusing as the first blow strikes and potentially disrupts balance or stance and the second impact occurs at the same spot on the blade but while the opponent is off balance. The power is passive in that it automatically engages every time the Templar's blade connects; however, it does draw 5% of rei with each activation.

Anyone with a very heightened/ sensitive to energies can perceive the phantom blade. An afterimage, always a different person, wielding the same blade and striking. This is a representation of his chimeraian nature and the other souls bolstering his attack.

Unyielding Force: (ability) The engine of fury is just starting to burn, with it comes an unstoppable press forward coupled with a building disregard to everything other than killing his opponent including his own peril. With this power in play is difficult to bind or halt, if any bakudo or other binding ability is used against him Zak need only spend half the rei used to fuel the spell to break free.

bankai
Bankai: Lupus Titan por Ferrum (The Wolf Titan of Iron)

Form: The expression of Zakeriah's Bankai feels like a massive implosion with the fury of his power being sucked inward rather than exploding outward as with most releases. The sword thickens yet again more than doubling in width. The back of the blade becomes irregularly toothed and jagged two thirds of the way down the length from the base. The etchings have changed a final time and the two wolves are now feasting on their prey, the world. The circular hole near the base in now nearly as large as a fist and adorned with a large obsidian ring. There is still no proper guard but has become an irregular collection of heavy lead chains and obsidian shards. The hanging wolf-head medallion is no longer flat but fully formed with blazing eyes. The energy tendrils now constantly flow from the blade and dance along his arms.

At this stage Zak's eyes and throat are consumed by his energy and constantly glow with billows of smoky reiatsu billowing forth. His pupils are no longer visible and even when his teeth are clenched they appear as neon. His skin burns to the touch.

Absolution of Destruction: (Ability) The direct upgrade of Touch. Zak gains more control along with more fury to be unleashed. The phantom attack is no longer automatic instead Zak activates it in stages. He must transverse each stage to activate the next as well as spend each respective stage in some sort of combat. With each level his fury grows as does the difficulty to stop or control him. Zak may not necessarily begin attacking allies, but getting between him and his opponent (especially at stage 3) would not be wise.

Stage 1: 5% Rei activates the same effect as Touch for three (3) turns. The only difference is the second blow now comes from a random direction and angle though it impacts the same general area. At this stage the tendrils of power begin to dance away from him and strike the area around him (this is aesthetic only, no combat value).

Stage 2: 10% Again lasts three (3) turns. There is now a second phantom assault follows the first. The assaults now can hit randomly over a much broader area such as anywhere along the same side of the target. The phantom assaults now come with greater force that can send most opponents stumbling several (around 15 per undefended assault) meters. The lightening like energy also begins to flash through the whole of his body sometimes illuminating parts of his skeleton like an x-ray.

Stage 3: 20% five (5) turns. 3 Phantom assaults now occur, one after another, each with enough concussive force to crater the world around their target. The most significant change is that the blades can now strike the opponent from any angle and any location (The throw range remains the same as previous). At the maximum tier his whole body appears to smoke and the lightening storm continues. Those willing to stand the heat of standing so close to Zakeriah while in his third stage of fury might even hear thunder rumbling through the cloud.

Unstoppable Juggernaught: (Attack) His resistance to binding carries over but has become considerably more potent as his engine is stoked to full intensity allowing him to expend 50% of the cost of a spell to break through it. In his Bankai state Zak's mind is so consumed by fire and fury this resistance now carries over to illusions and other mind effecting spells.

Arch of Devastation: (Attack) Zak's most powerful burst attack requires that he have built his bloodlust fully up to the third tier to utilize. He swings his blade in a massive sweeping gesture creating explosive damage over a constrained area.

Zak burns 15% of his base rei, similar to the phantom assaults there is no evident energy release, simply everything within a roughly 10m span is devastated. Mundane objects crush from random directions and are thrown about, the earth cracks and heave, walls shatter. Anyone caught within the thunderous release can only describe the sensation as being bombarded by a violent gravity well.

Recall: (Attack) A deceptively mundane ability Zak can spend 250 of his rei to call his weapon to him from anywhere within standard Bankai range. His energy arcs away from him like a bolt and snatches the weapon from where it may lay. It takes the shortest path back to the Templar’s hand, smashing through whatever might be between the two. The sword travels with considerable speed and force but he can exert no control over the blade save that it might change course to get around something it can not break through.

New Kai
Shikai

Form: Kalu’aita shifts from her previous shikai form from that of a six-foot long katana to something more along the lines of Zakeriah’s heritage. The blade becomes something more like a two handed scimitar. It retains its dark iron look with a pure silver edge but becomes thicker and instead of a sharp curve traditional to most scimitars in the blade it gains more of a wave. The lowest fourth of the blade thickens considerably so that the back side has a deadly hook. There is still no sword guard save the fact that the blade is wider than the hilt. The hilt remains wrapped in crimson leather and is easily long enough for him to grip with two hands. The base of the hilt ends in the top half of a wolf’s head while the lower jaw is situated about halfway down the hilt between where the hands should rest. Zakeriah can sheathe this long blade along his back.

Zakeriah’s scar marks begin to glow and his reiatsu begins to strike away from him in the form of bolts of silvery blue lightning. The bolts dance along his blade occasionally illuminating carvings engraved in the dark metal.

”Must Read”
Important Note:In this kai as Zak’s strength increases I refer to the base level of his damage increasing assuming the minimal damage is...minimal. In his bankai state he gains to a point where his blows would technically read as deadly for each swing. This is not my intent, due to our current damage system of minor, moderate, severe, and deadly it is simply an expression of the force behind his swings. People are not going to be falling left and right because every blow that he makes is a killing blow or something crazy like that; however, his blows should not be taken lightly. Something that looks casual for him will still hit with the full force of him holding his weapon with both hands and swinging it as hard as possible...ie deadly force. If there is another way to relate this I would be happy to do so since we do not use percentages any longer.

Attacks

Berserker’s Strength: The purified form of his previous ability no longer inflicts a secondary shadow blow on his foes. The strength is now entirely his to wield increasing the base force behind his every blow into impacts that stagger even the most stalwart of opponents.
By drawing on 5% of his reiatsu Zakeriah’s blows effectively raise one level of damage. What’s more Zakeriah generates a level of force that forces his opponent back roughly two (2) yards.

March of the Wargod: While in his shikai state Zakeriah’s sense of pain is dulled so his wounds are nuisance. Barriers mean nothing to Zakeriah in this state. His fists and blade shatter constructs of any sort and he can not be contained easily. This manifests as his silvery lightning chains immediately assaulting any barrier that offends him or binds that try and hold him.

Zack must expend 50% of the spells cost to destroy it. The effect is reactionary and instantaneous.

Bankai
Lupus Titan por Ferrum (The Wolf Titan of Iron)

Form: The sword itself changes little from its shikai state gaining only a serrated edge where it once was smooth. Rust colored armor engulfs his left arm and shoulder, it is large and oversized with an ancient roman build to it. It consists of a series of metal scale plates that layer downward to his forearm at which point the armor becomes heavy and shielded, suitable for direct impacts and makes an excellent weapon in its own right weighing something comparable to a stone maul. (Should Zak have his division armor this transformation incorporates it, if not, the bankai armor appears anyway.) Three more blades are manifested, two styled like a roman gladius sheathed horizontally across his lower back. The black, ashwood hilts are visible on his left and right, suitable for drawing from their black leather scabbards quickly and easily. The blades appear to be made of copper with roman characters carved deeply into the center. Fine lines lace the blades horizontally but do not weaken the structure of the weapon in any way. The third blade is a sharply curved dagger sheathed over his lower abdomen. The crescent curve of this blade is so sharp the blade must be drawn just so to be successfully removed from its resting spot. The blade itself is silver and roughly as long as a man’s forearm. The handle is ivory wrapped in brown leather.

The lightning form of his reiatsu strikes much more consistently into the ground. These bolts snake through and along the ground in a radius of fifteen (15 yds), cracking and shattering the ground in places as sometimes larger one jump into the air like fish from the sea. This has little other effect other than receiving an electrical jolt upon contact with one of the arches.

His arm marking glow brilliantly like flares in the darkest of night, the intricate patterns visible even under his armor and wrappings. His eyes and throat glow with his silvery blue energy, smoking power when he speaks. Major arteries along his arms, legs, neck, and sides can be seen pulsing with the same energy beneath his skin.

Attacks

See ‘Must Read’ spoiler above shikai!
Berserker Unleashed: Zakeriah maintains this three (3) stage power, as his battle fervor increases so does his combat strength. He now spends his reiatsu to enter increasing levels of rage instead of on a blow per blow basis as he does in his shikai state. He must transverse each state to enter the next. While they need not be maintained for their full duration, he must spend the previous turn in some sort of combat to activate his next stage. With each level, his vision tunnels seeing and hearing only what he wants dead. At his third stage he is just as likely to assault an ally that gets in his way as he is an enemy. Should a state expire without him renewing it Zak falls completely out of his enraged state and would have to start over again in building it up.

Stage 1: 5% reiatsu, lasts two (2) turns. Similar to his shikai effect, the power of Zakeriah’s blows raise one (1) level. The knockback effect is somewhat greater, increasing to three (3) yards. This is the level in which Zak is pretty normal still, just angry.

Stage 2: 10% reiatsu, lasts three (3) turns. Zak’s base force increases two levels. The phantom blow returns, when Zakeriah strikes a foe a second invisible blow assaults his target from a random angle a few moments later. While his knockback remains the same, the force generated by his blows damage the ground and walls around him. At this stage Zak is unreasonable, the taste of blood wetting his tongue and drying his throat with temptation. It would take some damn fine convincing to get him to stop attacking his opponent.

Stage 3: 15% reiatsu, lasts four (4) turns. Same effects as stage 2; however, Zakeriah’s force is fully increased by three (3). What’s more, the sheer impacts he creates shatter the ground and whatnot around him. The victim of the strike can be knocked back a full five (5) yards per blow. At this stage The only thing that can halt him from combat is his own sheer will or the death of his opponent (even then he might be looking for others to fight).

The March of Wargod: The bankai version of this power works exactly the same as the shikai version; however, in this state the strength of his conviction spreads to spells and abilities that would hinder his mind, not just his body. What’s more, Zakeriah’s dulled sense of pain is now completely deadened. He is all but unaware of damage occurring to his body.

As before, breaking a spell costs 50% of the casting cost.

The Wounded Lamb: Cost 10% reiatsu. This attack requires Zakeriah’s gladius, he stabs the sword into the flesh of his enemy. Whatever part of the blade is beneath the skin viciously rotates into alternating, barbed segments, effectively anchoring the sword into place. As long as the sword is attached it continues working its way deeper until only the pommel is exposed. This use generates two effects: firstly, the energy chains Zak has snaking along the ground lurch out and attach to the blade anchoring the victim to movement of about two (2) meters. Pulling the blade itself is incredibly painful and the chains will pull taut is the victim tries to move beyond its lead. The secondary effect is simply that so long as the blade is in the target (even if they have broken the chains) Zakeriah is constantly aware of where they are.

Ability

Cry of the Pack: 15% Reiatsu. The Blackwolf lets forth a vicious battle shout accentuated by the cry of a hunting wolf. His energy pours from him into the earth like a torrent. The seemingly random bolts traveling through and along the earth rear like massive serpents and strike any ally within fifteen (15) meters. This infects his fellow warriors with a touch of his own rage for one (1) turn. For that next turn they may execute a physical attack as though they were at Stage 1 of Unleased but suffer rage equal to stage 2. If they do not attack in their next turn the effect is lost. Maximum of four (4) allies, if more are in range Zak may spend 2% more rei per additional warrior he would like to affect.

Approved - #1. Just convert the distance to 15 meters. All pretty much the same, but standardized makes it easier. If you wish to extend that range, its plausible.

#2. Looks good.

Bankai: 紫電一千 - Shiden Issen - "One Thousand Sword Flashes”

Tetsuo’s Bankai capitalizes on the shinigami’s most fatal asset – his ability with a sword. This is a little trickier. - Counter purposal;

Form - Tetsuo’s Bankai capitalizes on the shinigami’s most fatal asset – his ability with a sword. After release, an area relative to a sphere centered on Tetsuo is turned into a realm where Tetsuo’s ability to cut is heightened to astonishing degrees.

Ability - Jigenzan extends the form of the bankai to a sphere with a 60m diameter. Within this sphere Tetsuo may cut space without a single motion of his sword, but merely by willing it to happen. The form of such cuts is basically the same as if a real katana executed the motion, save for their size: each one is three meters in length and fifty centimeters in width.

The number that can be executed, as well as their strength is governed by Tetsuo's zanjutsu stat. For every 5,000 zanjutsu Tetsuo has gained 1 additional stroke may be performed per turn, up to six.

Attack 1 - Not manifested on someone, or, if manifested on someone it is directed by the Kidou stat. (no big deal if manifested somewhere not occupied)

Attack 2 - Good.

Attack 3 -
Lets make the cost at a per cut value. Such as , 3 - 5%(you choose, just throwing something out) per blade, or some such, rather then a net that is then divided and ends up with something like 3.2%.

P.S.

I love you and welcome back. You're reviving a PC, so I don't mind a resub, don't spend the Kan on it if Will gave the nod.

Flight looks baller. You can even drop the 'repay' clause for landing and taking off again.

For #2, Change: By paying a minimum 2% of his current reserve - with a limit of 10% in a single turn to By paying between 2% and 10% of his current reserve

its output increasing by the original cost once per round for a total of five consecutive rounds, after which the fire is quelled. Can be removed.

Aight. Starting note: SO MUCH GOD DAMN QUOTE IN A SPOILER IN A QUOTE IN A SPOILER. Just post the text straight up for me plox. I'm not going to bust anyone chop's over it, but is a "Makes Van's job easier" request.

Shikai - Counter Purposal

Ability - Berserker Unleashed
(I'm not adding any fluff, you can do that.) Zak's attacks may not inflict only 'minor damage'. If they would be a glancing blow or not utterly stopped by some means, they instead inflict moderate wounds.

I like this more because its not auto-promoting deadly attacks. It also allows us to tweak and keep both powers with the counter purposal without causing the shikai to rape like a washing-machine-humping robot.

Attack - ??% Reiatsu
Zak can charge his word with ??% of his reiatsu for two rounds, and this reiatsu is used to puncture obstacles and barriers that would hinder the strokes of his sword. Purposed singly for the destruction of obstacles, it is 10% more efficient at doing so.

Bankai - Counter Proposal;

Notes - You've a pile of abilities stashed all over this kai, pain deadening, spell breaking, mind shielding, complete location awareness, pushing around, and so on. We can't stuff this all in the kai.

Berserker Rage; As written, this won't float. But we can pump some serious mojo into this regardless and I think make it appealing.

Zak's blows, if not completely stopped, will not do minor damage, but moderate instead. Further, his blows ignore one level of armor (such as an arrancar's heirro).

Attack 1 - ??% Reiatsu
Zak can charge his word with ??% of his reiatsu for two rounds, and this reiatsu is used to puncture obstacles and barriers that would hinder the strokes of his sword. Purposed singly for the destruction of obstacles, it is 25% more efficient at doing so.

Attack 2 - Zap a foo'. ??% Reiatsu
Zak can stab somoeone with a gladius and discharge a blast from it based on the cost.

Cry of the Pack - 3% per ally
An ally of Zak's can make use of his Berserker Rage for one swing.

Should be a juggernaught in its own right, reminds me of Essential, but since I'm not moot it sucks less.j

Re-worded things and changed them as per discussed with Mr. Eidolon. Thanks again for your patience with numbers and such.

By paying a fixed cost of 500 reiatsu per slash, Tetsuo is able to phase the slashing motion of his blade through space to a maximum range of 20 meters.

After release, an area relative to a sphere centered on Tetsuo is turned into a realm where Tetsuo’s ability to cut is heightened to astonishing degrees.

Ability: 次元斬 - Jigenzan - "Dimension Slash"

Jigenzan extends the form of the Bankai to a sphere with a 60m diameter. For every 5,000 Zanjutsu Tetsuo has gained one additional stroke may be performed per turn, up to six.

Attack 1: 蒼破球 – Souhakyuu – “Pale Destruction Sphere”

By paying 5% of his reiatsu, Tetsuo can create a lucid sphere of approximately one meter in diameter at any free space within the reach of his Bankai. This means that Tetsuo cannot create said sphere at a location that’s being occupied by an enemy.

By spending 5% of his reiatsu Tetsuo can give form to a Jigenzan cut, manifesting it as a blade of pure reiatsu, and being able to shape all the number of cuts per turn at his disposal at any given time. Appearance wise, each blade resembles a nodachi with the blade’s length and width exactly the same as a Jigenzan slash. Tetsuo has no need to physically wield them - although he certainly can wield them if so desired - instead being able to control them via thought. Each sword lasts for five rounds after the turn it was summoned, and as an obvious side-effect, each one that is given physical form detracts the number of possible Jigenzan and Gouhouren that Tetsuo can use.

Note: The boss wants: completely obliterating what was change to attempting to completely obliterate in the sphere attack.

Rune's OD

Original Awakening here.

[Kyuukyokubuki] - さいしゅう へいき
“Ultima Weapon” - 100% Resonance

Upon reaching 100% Resonance, Rune gains access to Kaisen Karakuri’s Omega form. By sacrificing 90% of his remaining Reiatsu, in addition to 10% bonus gained from his Overdrive, the mechanist can force his robotic puppet into a super-charged state -- representing the pinnacle of its combat potential. For two turns following activation each of Kaisen Karakuri’s stats are increased to 100% of its total energy, granting it massively increased speed, damage and defense. While in this state, the machine cannot utilize any of its equipped weapons and is limited to melee attacks. Once it’s time limit is reached, Kaisen Karakuri must revert to its initial form, as remaining in its overdriven state can cause substantial damage to its systems.

herpderp. I dun goofed. this should be right. PS - I changed the channel-over-time length to three rounds as opposed to five.

[ Metsudo ] - 滅度
(Extinguishing Illusion and Passing Over to Nirvana)

Darkness always makes way for purifying light. By way of this truth Doujin Kotoku may cleanse the world of its evils and impurities. By paying between 2% and 10% of his current reserve the dragon will call forth a luminous blast of torrential crimson fire that originates from his very burning core and unleash it in a widening cone-shaped blast with a total range of twenty-five meters. The attack may be channeled over multiple turns, for a total of three consecutive rounds, after which the fire is quelled.

You've seen it before but since I'm going back:

Ekibyou (Plague)

Release Phrase: Defile, Ekibyou.

Form: Feng’s normal katana morphs into a five foot long extremely thin scimitar the center of which appears hollow. From the tip, if it is held stationary, the black sword appears to weep a similar colored liquid onto the ground which dissipates shortly thereafter.

Ability: Akueki (Epidemic)

The true nature of Feng’s kai is far more sinister than it appears at first glance. Rather than metal, the entire blade is composed of countless bacteria joined together by Feng’s reiatsu. When encountering any living being, sword strikes from Feng’s zanpakutou appear to do absolutely no damage and fade right through the opponent. However, the bacteria latch on to the enemy traveling through even the smallest of pores to enter and begin to incubate. At any time once this happens Feng may pay 100 reiatsu each to summon forth up to 3 fully mature bacterial colonies per inflicted wound.

Each being is roughly Feng’s own height mimicking his appearance complete with replica zanpakutou, however the bacteria have one notable difference. The eyes of the colonies are jet black and can be seen moving due to the movement of the bacteria. The beings leave the enemy’s body causing the damage the sword strike should have dealt as it exits (reduced as required due to damage reduction techniques and dealt only once regardless of how many clones emerge). Each colony acts as the zanpakutou itself continuing the cycle of attacks, though they may be dissipated if hit with an attack stronger than their makeup. The colonies all move relative to Feng's own Hohou stat and the speed of their assaults are equal to his zanjutsu. However, the colonies are much weaker and cannot inflict wounds greater than light scratches.

Approved - I've been thinking about this a lot. In short, its an overdrive, so it takes a long while to uncover, its two rounds, and its a all in. I think its fair enough to be used in stories.

Approved - With changes.

I've been mulling over the paper tiger clones, and the one aspect that I'm uncertain of is what's a good balance in numbers of them that may be present. For their pros, their cons do exist. I think a 6-cap is solid, but, lets not have this prevent the emergence of new ones, only that older ones die if more then 6 would come into play.

So, add: At most, 6 clones may be present at any time. If new clones emerge from a wound, any older clones will die off to maintain the maximum of 6.

Then repost, and I'll get you approved hopefully within a few hours, if not that day.

Added the asked changed as well as a final line to explain multiweapon rules, let me know if that one has to go.

It begins...

Shikai Release - Kiro Shenrai

[ Sabigyoushou ] - "Rustmonger"
[ Release Command - Kuchihateru ] - "Decay"

An unassuming blade, the only trait of note in Sabigyoushou’s sealed form is its short length. Little more than a wakizashi, the rust-colored cloth of its hilt has a simple box guard to accompany it, a thin knot at the base of the blade denoting where the cloth ends.

As Kiro releases his shikai, his blade immediately rusts away. Turned into liquid rust, two rust-coloured orbs denote the released weapon.

[ Tenraku ] - "Degradation"

When Sabigyoushou's released form comes into contact with a physical object, it immediately begins to corrode and break down the object. Items bereft of spiritual energy are broken down near-instantly. When coming into contact with matter of a spiritual nature, Sabigyoushou automatically siphons 3% of Kiro's reiatsu to attempt to break down the matter. If the corrosion is successful, the matter is broken down instantly, along with the energy infused to it.

Every time Sabigyoushou successfully corrodes an object, its released form receives a single charge to be used with its second ability. If the corroded object is of a spiritual nature, Sabigyoushou receives two charges.

[ Saihenken ] - "Slag Blade"

As Sabigyoushou breaks down objects, it receives charges to its released form - shown by a pulse of energy from the orbs as the charge is received. By paying 2% of his reiatsu per charge used, and expending up to 5 charges, Kiro may create a blade of molten slag and jagged rust.

Objects that attempt to block the blade are subject to Tenraku's corrosion - and wounds dealt by the Saihenken are similarly corrosive. Wounds deal damage equal to the amount paid into the ability, over the following round, by rotting away the affected area.

First swing at a Quincy bow:

Sanrei Hamayumi: Inaba no Shirousagi - 因幡の白兎
(Inaba White Rabbit)

Like his brothers Hans and Lionel before him, Andrew Laurent, after completing his Quincy training, was bestowed with an Erdechalk Sanrei Glove. Though called a 'glove' in name, the Quincy artifact utilized by the Erdeschalks more closely resembles a pair of obsidian bangles worn on the archer's wrist. When in use, these bangles align, held together by consolidated reishi which in turn, generates the bow's form.

Andrew's bow in particular, dubbed Inaba no Shirosagi by the businessman after the famous myth, consists of an odd, four-limbed construct resembling a pair of Daikyuu held parallel to one another, extending horizontally from the archer's Sanrei Glove. This gives Andrew's bow a distinct 'crossbow' aesthetic, though the size of the weapon is greatly inflated. Though it appears unwieldy, the Quincy can heft it with surprising ease and agility.

Ability:
Inaba No Shirousagi is nothing less than a weapon of siege. Though capable of firing normal arrows, the bow's unique ability allows Andrew, at the cost of 5% of his reiatsu, to charge a powerful, high-arcing shot to strike targets at extreme distance. Each charged shot has a range of roughly two times the distance of Andrew's Weitshuss and explode on impact, dealing damage over a two meter radius. This ability can only be used once every two rounds. Reiatsu for this attack may be deducted from Andrew's Shuuhaku pool.

Sanrei Hamayumi

Release Name
Gedichte Grimm or Shiteki Gekido (詩的激怒, Poetic Fury)

Form
Rudo’s initial bow comes in the form of a simple bow made of light---albeit opaque light.

Ability
The arrows fired by Gedichte Grimm are highly volatile. A single arrow carries the explosive force of several pounds of dynamite, able to level even the most fortified of structures. This effect diminishes, however, when several arrows are fired simultaneously with the total cost being spread among all the arrows fired. The usage of any arrows, regardless of the amount fired, pulls an amount equal to 7% of his Reiatsu from his Shuuhaku pool. Additionally, Rudo can delay the detonation of each arrow after impact. Whether or not they miss their target, arrows that aren't destroyed after firing can remain intact and armed for up to 2 rounds and can be detonated at Rudo's will as long as he is within 15 meters of it.

Sanrei Hamayumi - Der Kriegshetzer - “Warmonger”
Appearance:

Der Kriegshetzer was borne of the completion of Ishmael’s Sanrei training in ages past. A branch family of the Erdeschalks, Ishmael was given a traditional Erdeschalk glove. Aside from a minor coloring change, the ‘glove’ functions similarly to the others. When summoning Der Kriegshetzer, the two, bluish-silver, bracelets hover slightly above his wrist, before synchronizing and spinning rapidly. As spirits are collected, the bracelets are engulfed in a golden light.

Materialized in its solid state, Der Kriegshetzer appears as a smaller, handheld, version of the Roman Scorpio. Though seemingly large and unwieldy, to Ishmael it is manipulated with ease. The artillery weapon is colored a deep silver, created of many mechanical parts merged together, giving it an industrial look. Rotating gears can be seen on the outside, the main drivers of the firing mechanism. Arrows fired from this weapon create a distinctive, explosive sound, similar to a gunshot or artillery fire.

Kriegszustand - “Belligerency”

Quincy bows function in roughly the same manner, gathering, compressing, and firing ambient spirit particles. By manipulating this mechanism slightly, the functionality of arrows can be manipulated. By manipulating the polarity of collected spirit particles upon firing, Der Kriegshetzer is capable of destabilizing the fired projectiles. Arrows fired in this manner seem to vibrate rapidly similar to a Seele Schnider.

When striking a target, arrow rapidly loses its compressed form, causing it to violently spread forward, unleashing the gathered reiatsu through sheer concussive force. Upon initial strike on the target, half the damage of the arrow is dealt as normal. The remainder of the arrow’s force is spread forward in a cone shape as concussive, knock force which is directed directly through the target before spreading in a 3 meter cone. Ishmael must pay 5% of his reiatsu, which may be paid through his Shuuhaku pool, to destabilize an arrow. This ability can only be used every other turn.
