Shikai
Form/Ability :: Living Weapon
Upon the utterance of the initial release, Ansherina’s weapon rapidly decays, akin to skin and flesh rotting away with time. In place of the weapon, a mass of black fire enshrouds the hand that once held the bone, slowly forming the weapon she so chooses. By infusing 3% of her reiatsu, Ansherina is able to change the initial form of her weapon into another of her own choosing.
The weapons created and recreated within the release of her shikai appears to be different among others—the basic structure of these weapons are made with fragmented bones, usually adorned with blood, torn flesh, snapped veins and ripped skin; as if the weapons had been stolen straight from another living creature. Though it may look brittle, the weapons created are nonetheless as durable as a normal zanpakutou in its initial release.
It does not matter what she wants the weapon to be, given that she is able to lift it with ease and that its size is no larger than her own body.
Attack :: Ghost’s Claw
While most attacks are delivered through physical attacks or reiatsu, Koschei has his own unconventional way of attacking the body. By expending 3% of her total reiatsu per turn, Ansherina is able to imbue her weapons with a special effect: to attack what cannot be seen. While Ansherina's bone weapons can be used to parry attacks from inanimate objects, Ghost Claw’s real power is seen when attacking the form of a living being -- it phases through the skin, and damages whatever is underneath in a chainsaw fashion-- muscles, bones, tissues, and more specifically, it is more suited to damaging the internal organs more severely than a normal weapon. This makes the target more prone to internal bleeding and having a lesser limb functionality, on top of the fact that it will be difficult to measure the extent of the damage and how the target will be able to avoid worsening the wounds at mid-battle.
Attack :: Death's Head
When physical touch is deemed impossible, Koschei himself makes an effort to create contact. Upon the activation of the attack, five white orbs covered in light clouds appear around Ansherina and begin to spin rapidly, as if gathering the air around it to itself. In a matter of a few seconds, the orbs of highly dense calcium grow up to roughly 4 inches and will continue spinning in midair until it is launched. With only one gesture of the hand, he calcium orbs will shoot towards a specific direction, where it will explode upon contact and immediately launch bone spikes omnidirectionally. The spikes will launch rapidly and will travel 5m in the air before dissipating into powder.
The bone spikes are 1 inch in diameter, while it measures roughly 1 feet in length. Each orb costs 3% of Ansherina’s reiatsu to conjure.
Bankai
Form :: Death's Playground
Upon the utterance of the final release, a multitude of vein markings rapidly spread out from her spot, branding the ground within a 30-meter radius with the distinct vein pattern. As soon as it forms the complete 60m circle, the starts to glow in a faint white hue, the color rippling outward from the wielder to its tips, and, after the fifth ripple when the veins glow in pure crimson hue, something else begins to grow: a graveyard of bones. Around Ansherina's feet, the ground is littered with pure earth and dried leaves, while several bones lie half-buried in the soil. The farther it gets from Ansherina, the more bones there are, to the point that it becomes not just a graveyard, but a wasteland that tell stories of a million deaths.
Ability :: Deathless
Through combining the ultimate gift of Koschei and the Ansherina’s own skills, she is bestowed with an ability that no other ability can grant: the gift of defying death. For a normal person, one wound is a closer step to death, the bigger the wound, the bigger the leap. However, Deathless makes it appear like it never happened at all.
By expending 20% of her maximum reiatsu, the body is granted with an exceptional upgrade of the usual chiyudou spells: one that never ends. At the initial activation of the spell, all wounds begin to simultaneously heal, at the same rate at which Superior Mend heals the wounds: minor wounds in one, moderate in two and severe wounds in three turns. After the initial healing, all wounds acquired at the rest of the remaining turns will start healing as soon as they are inflicted, without needing any gesture from the wielder, regardless of whether their damage are internal or external, so long as they are imprinted upon her physical being by any means. One remarkable thing about Deathless is that it does not leave marks and blemishes on any surface of the skin when the wound is healed.
Upon acquisition, it continuously heals for the initial five turns allowed for a bankai user. However, should Ansherina reach Bankai Mastery, she is able to extend the use of this ability by expending 3% of her maximum reiatsu per turn.
Attack :: Denial Of Mercy
While most healing are intended to aid the patient, Koschei’s power has put it up in such a way that even the divine art of healing becomes difficult to trust. By spending twice the amount of the spell’s original cost, the effects of a chiyudou spell can be reversed—those that intend to calm the nerves will cause the target’s nerves to go haywire, while those that seek to prevent spreading poison on the body may end up increasing the speed at which it spreads.
In order to reverse the effects of a spell, the specific chiyudou spell must be equipped twice.
Attack :: Koschei’s Curse
Through the eyes of his wielder, everything is colourful and so full of life, unlike his own that reeked of death and decay. If Koschei cannot bring them to his world, he will bring it to them. At a cost of 5% of Ansherina’s reiatsu per turn, everything that surrounds Ansherina rapidly degenerates, and direct contact becomes much worse. When she touches an object with no reiatsu, it becomes subjected to decay: normal walls will crumble, doors will splinter, fabrics will become extremely brittle, and so much more. However, living things and objects bearing reiatsu are entirely different, yet still subjected to the curse.
When the living thing or the object with reiatsu comes in contact with any part of Ansherina’s body, they are subjected to decay: limbs will wither, joints will stiffen, as if the body part had been partially deprived of the life that sets it to motion. In most cases, it will only cause the limb to decrease its functionality. However, if the same limb is hit again with the curse within the duration of the whole fight, the limb dies completely, leaving the body with unusable mass of dysfunctional body parts. When investigated further, the damage does not barely resemble a strong anaesthetic: when touched, the skin may tear easily, the veins become completely dry and prone to breakage, the muscles wither greatly, the bones may easily weather and the blood has completely dried up.
Attack :: Remnants of the Dead
When the living simply isn't enough, perhaps the force of the dead may come to their aid. By spending 15% of Ansherina's total reiatsu, bones created in the Death's Playground comes back to life and fight on her behalf. Upon the activation of this ability, the glowing bones rise up from the ground and form rearrange themselves into a proper skeletal figure of what they used to be. However, instead of overwhelming the opponent by power, they overwhelm through number.
The number of skeletal figures formed by ability is dependent on how much reiatsu had been spent on this ability, as each skeleton bears only 10 reiatsu. These 'undead' are not actually able to fight, but are able to do simple tasks such as walking, jumping and strength-less grabbing. Noting the fact that they are fairly weak, they are also relatively easy to vanquish-- upon landing a hit on the skeleton, it turns to pure calcium powder and dissipates in the air.
When all the skeletons have disappeared, Ansherina's bankai ends and is reverted back to its sealed form.
