Initial Awakening
PONB (Positive Orange, Negative Blue)

Form
Normal, everything normal.

Attack: Spot PONB
Costs 40 reiatsu per use. Can be used up to twice per turn.

Kakuni sends out either a glowing orange (positive) sphere, or a glowing blue (negative) sphere. These spheres will attach themselves to the first thing they hit and charge that thing with orange energy or blue energy respectively. On things with reiatsu energy, they will only last up to three turns. On things without, the spheres will last up to five turns. Kakuni can cancel them manually.

The spots have strength to affect at 1 pound per reiatsu. When Kakuni is affected by one of these spots, they have strength to affect at 3 pound per reiatsu instead. They can affect each other up to 15 meters away. Shooting the same color sphere into another one will reset the duration and they will stack in power. Against pure energy attacks affected by PONB, the effect is based on the combined reiatsu only.

Things charged with orange power repel orange charges and attract blue charges. Things charged with blue charges repel blue charges and attract orange charges.

The power of this abilities are the combined strength of the repelling or attracting power. This can interact with other attacks.

Attack: Energy PONB
Costs 5% reiatsu per use.

This is an instant attack, capable of being used on attacks already in transit and can affect things that are not physical, such as fire or pure energy. This will charge them with either orange or blue energy.

If Energy PONB and whatever its reacting with completely overpowers an attack, they will completely lose their original trajectory and follow where the charges direct. Otherwise, the attack’s aim will only be modified based on how much power they have.

Things charged with orange power repel orange charges and attract blue charges. Things charged with blue charges repel blue charges and attract orange charges.

The power of this abilities are the combined strength of the repelling or attracting power. This can interact with other attacks.

Resonance Attack: Burst PONB
Costs 2% reiatsu per use.

Creates a orange (positive) or blue (negative) burst somewhere Kakuni can touch. It lasts only for a split second, but it has extremely power, being able to draw in or push away things based on what charge they have.

It works up to 15 meters away and has the same strength as Kakuni’s physical strength.

Changes Made:
- Lowered cost/effect on Kiriku from 10% to 5%.
- Lowered cumulative cost/effect on Kiriku from 3% to 2%.
- Increased cost on Kikenzou from 5% to 10%.

- Necessary charges to use Kisentou reduced to 3 from 4
- Necessary charges to use Kikenzou reduced to 4 from 6

Bankai - Kiro Shenrai
[ Kegirai Sabigyoushou ] - "Antipathic Rustmonger"
[ Form ]

As the utterance of 'Bankai' is made, Kiro's zanpakuto disintegrates. Permeating a 15m diameter about him, the ground darkens and rots into a wasteland. The slightest breeze blows away the oxidized particles, leaving naught but flakes of rust.

Kiro dons a modest, rust-red gauntlet that runs up and past his elbow. Ending in jagged ends, it is the arm he holds his blade in. The orange hue of his eyes darkens to a muddy brown, and the flakes of rust produced by Kegirai Sabigyoushou appear to naturally conform around his body, pushing against the winds to swirl about him.

[ Form - Kiriku ] - "Crude Land"

Kiriku is considered the 'primary' form of Kegirai Sabigyoushou. When initially released, Kiro's ability to direct its corrosive powers is unfocused. Within its initial, 15m diameter, a persistent corrosive aura shields him from all attacks, valued at 2% of his total reiatsu. This applies to all attacks separately.

Each attack that finds itself drained of power through Kiriku generates a charge (also valued at 2% of his reiatsu) for Kiro's Bankai, up to a total of three charges per round. Paying 1000 of his reiatsu, he may amplify the aura's strength for a single round by the amount paid.

[ Form - Kikawa ] - "Crude Shell"

Kikawa is the 'protective' form of Kegirai Sabigyoushou. Kikawa may be activated once Kegirai Sabigyoushou has generated at least three charges over the course of battle. Paying 4% of his reiatsu, Kiro may opt to use up to three charges with the form, adding the total value of the charges used to the total output of the form.

The flakes of rust from Kiriku coalesce, forming into a serrated ribcage centered around Kiro. Anything that attempts to contact the ribcage - be it physical matter, or spiritual-based matter - suffers damage equal the amount paid into the form. Attacks or abilities suffer a reduction in efficacy, while constructs or matter is rotted away. Kikawa degenerates normally as per barrier rules.

[ Form - Kisentou ] - "Crude Spire"

Kisentou is the 'retaliatory' form of Kegirai Sabigyoushou. Kisentou may be activated once Kegirai Sabigyoushou has generated at least five charges over the course of battle. Paying 2% of his reiatsu per activation, Kiro may opt to use a single charge with each activation of the form, adding the total value of the charges used to the total output of the form.

The flakes of rust from Kiriku gather about Kiro, forming into a massive claw that springs from the ground near him. Up to two claws may be created at any one time, and each lasts until destroyed. Each claw unleashes a small venomous payload upon wounding an opponent, dealing 1% of Kiro's total reiatsu over the following round per hit.

A claw's durability is determined by its total output, and is susceptible to melee strikes.

[ Form - Kikenzou ] - “Crude Viscera Blade”

Kikenzou is considered the ‘epitome’ stage of Kegirai Sabigyoushou. Kikenzou may be activated once Kegirai Sabigyoushou has generated at least seven charges over the course of battle. Paying 10% of his reiatsu per activation, Kiro may opt to use up to five charges with each activation of the form, adding the total value of the charges used to the total output of the form.

The flakes of Kegirai Sabigyoushou form into a serrated, flamberge-esque blade to be wielded by Kiro’s gauntleted hand. Once swung, the blade may unleash a miasma of rust and corrosive energy that rots away anything in its path. Travelling for 15m to the edge of his Bankai's radius, the miasma is treated as an airborne poison that seeps around any straightforward barriers or obstructions.

Coming into contact with the wave causes extreme anguish, rotting away at skin and muscle to cause damage equal to the amount of reiatsu paid into the blade over the following round. Unleashing the wave expends all of Kikenzou's power, dissipating the form.

”When I hit’cha, you’re gonna feel it."

Shi Kai:

Rite of Rebellion

Release Phrase: “And Now...Everybody Dies!”

Appearance: An ordinary looking enough katana of standard length, save for a constant golden glow that permeates the blade.

Spirit: Rite of Rebellion takes the form of an incredibly large shirtless man. On his hands lie large knuckle dusters cobbled together from random bits of metal and giant screws. The sword keeps his mullet covered by a large red bandana, which would match his similarly red eyes if it were not for his impenetrable black sunglasses. To complete this ensemble, Rite of Rebellion sports an incredibly manly mustache, sprouting almost over his mouth.

The sword spirit completely reveres the ideal of "badass," which, to him, means explosions, fire, and generally loud noises. His voice, therefore, is an excited boom, and he is always berating Tsubaki about her inability to "blow shit up properly." In general, though, he is rather impressed with her destructive capabilities, and will always try to egg her on in order to craft her into an even more badass swordsman.

Ability: Boom-Proof-Badass - Nothing is more badass than explosions, with the exception of a badass standing unfazed in the middle of a badass explosion of badassitude. To this end, Tsubaki is entirely immune to any explosions she causes while her Shi Kai is active. This ability is active as long as her weapon is released.

Ability: Light The Fuse, Start The Anarchy – Once Tsubaki releases her weapon it becomes little more than a matter of time before something is reduced to a smoldering ruin. To further this end, for every round that transpires with the completion of certain conditions Tsubaki will generate stacks of Anarchy. These stacks improve her offensive capabilities by 1% per stack while making attacks against her more effective by 1% per stack as well. And what are these conditions, you ask?

- Dealing damage to an opponent

- Using an attack, ability, or Kidou besides her Shi Kai attack (At a generation rate of 1 stack per 1,000 Reiatsu spent).

- Receiving damage (At a generation rate of 1 stack per 1,000 Reiatsu spent on the attack).

- A natural generation of 1 stack per round if no other conditions are met.

If Tsubaki enters Ban Kai while stacks of unused Anarchy are present from her Shi Kai, they carry over.

Attack: Badass-Ball-Buster - For a cost of 20% of Tsubaki’s Reiatsu the blade of Rite of Rebellion is overcharged with explosive energies, making it a contact-based explosive for the next thing it comes in contact with. This explosion bursts outwards from Tsubaki herself with a radius of 10 meters. In addition, smaller detonations are triggered once this attack resolves with a damage value of 5% of the Reiatsu paid to utilize the attack. These miniature bombs carry no further cost, and are generated at a rate of 1 per stack of Anarchy that Tsubaki has accumulated. Once used in this manner however, the stacks are consumed.

”I’m gonna smack the BITCH off you!”

jpg2_zps0a0adad8.jpg

Ban Kai:

Axis of Anarchy

Appearance: Upon transcending into Ban Kai Tsubaki is clad almost entirely from head to toe in black. Black heels, black hose, a black skirt and a black top to round out the ensemble. This outfit is complemented by a heavy leather duster dyed a deep shade of red, covered in haphazard patterns of whipstitched origin. The Zanpakutou itself remains largely unchanged, though the golden glow of destructive energies that constantly pulses throughout the blade is significantly brighter in its final release.

Now With Shitty Sketch
mtbk_zpsb9e670ca.jpg

Ability: Anarchistic Aura - The moment Tsubaki enters her Ban Kai this ability becomes active, engulfing the woman in a 3 meter auric sphere that negates all colors aside from black, white, and red. While it can prove a stark contrast to the battlefield around her, the visual aspects of this ability are entirely cosmetic and belie the true purpose it represents.

As with Light The Fuse, Start The Anarchy Tsubaki is able to generate stacks of Anarchy in her Ban Kai based on several parameters. These include:

- Dealing damage to an opponent. (At a rate of 1 stack per 1,000 Reiatsu used in the connecting attack)

-Receiving damage from an opponent. (At a rate of 1 stack per 1,000 Reiatsu used in the connecting attack)

-Using an attack, ability of Kidou. (At a rate of 1 stack per 1,000 Reiatsu used)

-A natural generation of 1 stack per round regardless of whether other conditions are met.

Attack: Badass-Bonafide-Bitch-Burner - For a cost of 25% of Tsubaki’s Reiatsu the blade of Axis of Anarchy is overcharged with explosive energies, making it a contact-based explosive for the next thing it comes in contact with. This explosion bursts outwards from Tsubaki herself with an initial Area of Effect of 10 Meters. This attack generates an additional 1 stack of Anarchy per 1,000 Reiatsu spent in addition to the stacks generated normally.

Attack: Badass-Heavenly Body-Butt-Blasting-Boom-To-End-All-Boom-Booms. Bitch. - The final weapon in Tsubaki’s badass arsenal, BHBBBBTEABBB is nothing less than a white knuckle thrill ride into finding out just how big an explosion can get. At a cost of 100% of her remaining Reiatsu, the blade of Axis of Anarchy is supercharged, so volatile that the very next thing that it touches will cause the weapon to explode. This attack has an initial AOE of 30 meters, expanding both horizontally and vertically at a rate of 3 meters per 1,000 Reiatsu spent to pay its cost.

Upon detonation, smaller explosions are ignited at the point of contact. These smaller detonations are equal in power to 5% of the cost spent on BHBBBBTEABBB and occur at a rate of 1 per stack of Anarchy consumed on this attack.

The noise generated by this attack is substantial, starting at a rate of around 150 dB near the center of the blast and tapering off to around 100 dB at the fringes of the explosion. It is also said that in addition to the noise of the explosion itself one can hear the screams of Tyrannosaurus Rexes and totally fucking sweet guitar solos emanate from the epicenter of the epic explosion of epicness.

After the explosion concludes, Tsubaki’s Ban Kai is forced back into a dormant state.

With all the changes around here since the last time I wrote as Kazuta my shikai needed to be adjusted and resubmitted for approval. So, let's skip all the fanfare and jump straight to the unveiling. I submit your your reviewing pleasure, the shiny new Tenryuu.

Shikai
Name: Tenryuu (Heavenly Dragon)

Command: Silence the impure, Tenryuu!

Appearance: Kazuta’s Zanpakutou changes very little in Shikai. Maintaining the same basic shape and design as the sealed form, Tenryuu’s blade becomes gold in color.

Spirit: Tenryuu appears as an elderly Shinigami with long sliver colored hair and a beard of the same color that reaches to his chest. His Shihakusho is the same as a normal Shinigami’s in design, however it is gold in color.

Ability: Tameike no Reiatsu (Pool of Reiatsu) Tenryuu takes in 1% of Kazuta's Reiatsu per round for up to five rounds and places it into a pool for later use. At the end of the five rounds or when Kazuta chooses, if it is before the ability reaches its full capacity, Tenryuu will incorporate the excess reiatsu stored into the next attack Kazuta unleashes that costs reiatsu, increasing its damage capability.

Attack: Ibuki no Ryu (Breath of the Dragon) This attack can be used in two different ways. Primarily, when facing an opponent that is no more than 65’ from him, Kazuta can activate Ibuki no Ryu by slashing his Zanpakutou through the air towards his opponent. This releases what appears to be serpentine dragon made of golden fire towards his intended target. Alternatively, Kazuta can stab his shikai into the ground at his feet to produce an area of effect version of this same attack that appear as golden flames spreading out in all directs from the blade up to a radius of 35’. This attack costs 8% of Kazuta’s reiatsu regardless of the way in which it is used.

Attack: Tenbatsu (Divine Punishment)
This attack can only be used once per battle. At the cost of 15% of his reiatsu and by saying the name of the attack, Tenbatsu, when striking an enemy Tenryuu forces the enemy to feel the pain they caused to all their previous victims at the same time. The opponent takes damage to their stats equal to 5% of Kazuta's Zanjutsu for four turns. Again, this attack can only be used once per battle.

Sanrei Hamayumi - "Irdenen Falken" (Earthen Falcon)

Apperance: Justine's sanrei glove is rather atypical. Instead of cloth, the glove is instead a bulky steel gauntlet, adorned only with a single stripe of dull blue running down the middle. As with all sanrei gloves, tips that manage the flow of reishi stick out from the wrist, and can be broken off for the emergency Letz Stil technique. The glove goes up to Justine's forearm.

Justine's Sanrei Hamayumi is much larger than her Rei Hamayumi, though it still retains her previous bow's energetic, ephemeral look. It glows brightly with a pale blue color, and sparks wildly with reishi discharges when equipped. It has the regular shape of a longbow, though without a visible string to fix arrows upon.

Haubitze - "Howitzer"

By expending 10% of her reiatsu, Justine can create strands of reishi particles that anchor her bow to the ground or nearby surfaces. Though this requires Justine to sacrifice her ability to move at all while firing, arrows fired from Irdenen Falken while in its Haubitze state travel 20% faster and hit harder, dealing 10% more damage. Justine also experiences a 15% boost to effective range. Haubitze itself can be maintained indefinitely by Justine, but after canceling the Haubitze form, she must wait three rounds before using it again.

Reverse order for fun.

Kawa - Resubmit

Form: Fine

Power: Suggested changes.

1) We've got a hidden stat buff in here: stat buffs have been removed from kais and nearly the whole RP all together, so the 'faster' part has to go.

2) I'm worried about the anchor form being one of those 'plop down, plop up things.' Lets go with making it a mode. first, no cost on the mode. "Justine activates Howitzer mode by anchoring herself in place, this anchoring lasts at least one round."

3) Now to the good part. "By paying an additional 10% of her reiatsu, Justine can fire a howitzer arrow while in this mode, which has a range increase of 20% (20% of a Q's range is f'ing huge), and adds the paid reiatsu to the total power of the shot." Note you can chose not to fire a howitzer arrow.

That's a suggestion on how to get what you're looking for and I think a decent balancing act, feel free to tweak here or there, of if you don't like it go with something new.

Sorm - Resubmit

Lets change the feet to meters. I know your listings are quite close, but, a standard system is good here for easy comparisons.

Ability - k

Attack 1 - Change the line to a max 30m, AoE max 15m.

Attack 2 - Stat debuffs are a no go in kais, much like stat buffs.

Beaks - I read this and . . . I think I'm cool with it. Approved.

Raph - Some definite strengths nestled in that kai, but, I think the ramp up covers the balancing act.
Approved.

Finny -
I'm hesitant on this, but, Approved.

I meant to change that debuff too. Guess I overlooked it. So, once again, the new Tenryuu.

The opponent takes the damage spread out evenly across four rounds. Again, this attack can only be used once per battle.

Grader Note
Okay, Eidolon (if your doing the check on this sub) I know it's been a minute and I've decided to undergo a full shift in favor of altering those powers into the method you and I talked about so those numbers are represented in those powers; however, I also completely changed the look and style of the kais to break from my rage kai to building toward Zakeriah's final kai.

Also, in my bankai I did generate a mount. I'm attempting to use this solely as a method of conveyance much like a character that sprouts wings or maybe even a Vizard that gets something like a centaur body and can move faster because of it. This creature has no power or awareness beyond Zakeriah's own and damage to it is taken by Zak. If it won't fly I have a backup but I hope we can make it work!!

"Kalu'aita, we are called to war."

Shikai
~The Form of the Hunt~

Gone is the massive, if elegant, blade of Zakeriah's primordial kai. The singular blade has been replaced by two far smaller implements. Twin short swords emblazoned in bronze and curved like a scimitar are now the released form of his zanpakutou. The delicate blades are wickedly sharp and fall somewhere in length between a short sword and a large dagger and hook over their hilt to protect his hands as well as any normal guard. Measuring slightly longer than the blades, the similarly curved hilt is wrapped in gold trimmed black leather with a bit of the metal shining between each strap. The build and size of the weapons takes maximum advantage of both his zanjutsu and hakuda skills. A sheathe for each blade crosses his lower back allowing him to easily fight with one or neither blade easily. The sheaths are black ivory wrapped in and belted around him with a heavy crimson strap. If Zakeriah's armor is donned this strap is beautifully knitted into the lobster plating protecting his legs, if away, it cords several times around his waist.

This is the false form of his weapon, at silent command the blades show their true forms, those of long spears. Smoke black as volcano soot pours from the growing length of hilt as the weapons take shape. Each measures eight feet in length and while the hilt does grow there is no evident adjusting of straps there simply appears to be more of them as intricate and evenly spaced as before. The weapons are flexible, bending with his motions like a whip staff but hard and stable as iron when thrust. The bladed tips become alive with the swordsman's silvery reiatsu sending the electric chains dancing around their length and his arms.

Regardless of wether the spears are extended or collapsed his chains are a far more prevalent force than in his previous incarnation. They still move and strike like lightning but they look far more like ethereal chains than simple bolts. In all forms the same dark smoke pours from his chains.

Visual inspiration click to embiggen!hellboy_spear_3.jpg

Attacks

Quelling the Herd: This attack requires 2% rei. Zakeriah's attacks have a natural ferocity to them, much more than even an intentionally powerful assault by another warrior. This sheer viciousness ensures that the lowest level of damage his assault causes is moderate.

Tasting the Fire: His foes are weak and their attacks are all but meaningless to a god of death. By expending 5% of his reiatsu their pitiful attacks go largely unnoticed and are all but ineffective against the advancing warrior. Minor wounds and light damage are completely ignored neither slowing him or weakening his resolve in the least.

Bankai
~The Form of War~

Zakeriah is become a symbol of war, a terror to behold on the battlefield and a rallying image for his allies. His throat and eyes smoke and burn casting him in a terrifying ghostly vigil and his veins throb with silver energy. His flesh and armor maintain the excessive heat that has persisted in all his kais, those close can feel it and it burns to touch him. The two spear sheathes vanish into nothingness, indeed, the spears themselves have vanished. He summons the spears to his hand, extended or not, in a great eruption of black smoke. The heads of the spears themselves appear to have somehow become unstable and surrounded by a gravity well, constantly breaking into shards and reforming amid a sphere of silvery light. This well has a noticeable effect to mundane objects such as causing slight damage to the ground, walls, and whatnot when the energy is held close to it. While Zak does seem to pull these weapons out of nothingness he only actually has five to use.

Zak's liquid silver armor seems to become heavier and stone-like taking on the color of ash while pulsing with veins or cracks of silver akin to cooling magma. (Should Zak not be wearing or has used the charges of his armor this armor appears anyway but without the ability of luna's bastion). Smoke and ash rush forth from the cracks along the armor like a great cloak. It does not simply vanish but seems to snake about and move like a living thing sometimes even taking shapes such as hands, faces, and other random things. Lightning strikes from his arms to the ground around him fiercely and the chains themselves are far more prevalent within the lightning streams. The chains and smoke are married in many ways, flowing and snaking in tandem.

Lastly, and perhaps most prominently, is the great direwolf that appears beneath the shinigami to ride. This is an animal the size of a Clydesdale adorned in armor similar to its rider with great spikes extending from the helm and hindquarters. The eyes and mouth of the beast glow with the same power as their master making the two an impressive sight to behold on the battlefield.

The mount is an extension of Zakeriah's bankai to convey him around the battlefield, appearance aside the wolf has no consciousness or awareness beyond his own. Indeed, when Zakeriah wishes to dismount the animal it simply collapses into ash and when remounting it rises from beneath his feet. A successful blow against the steed is translated into Zak while he may use the maw to the same effect as his spears so long as he rides the beast.

Attacks

Judging the Weak: 5% reiatsu. Zakeriah's spears increase their potency from Quelling. In his bankai state the shinigami strikes with ferocity that cracks the walls and/or ground around his enemies. His weapons not only inflict a least a moderate level of damage but can completely ignore a level of armor the foe may be choosing to don.

When in play, ethereal symbols of war and destruction appear along the length of the blade (and shaft if extended). Almost imperceptibly one of the symbols appears on the point of contact just before the blade penetrates.

Unstoppable Demon: The feeble attacks of his opponents are of little consequence to the Blackwulf. Easily able to shrug off light wounds in this state Zakeriah can now expend 5% of his reiatsu to ignore shackling or debilitating effects attempted by cowards who would rather hide behind spells than face him for only the cost of the power.

The veins of his bankai armor are the visible response to this ability. The cracks normally throb coolly but when this power is employed they flare seeming to heat the armor itself and either melting away or outright shattering the physical manifestation of the spell.

Shattering the Heart: 15% of his reiatsu is fed into his spears and Zak can hurl the weapons with staggering force. Powered by his desire to decimate his foe the projectile is thrown naturally before radically picking up speed like a rocket as it flies streaming the black smoke and silver fire like some sort of meteor. Upon detonation the spear explodes in a powerful concussive force showering the immediate area (about 3yds worth) with barbed copper like shards as hard and durable as the whole. Shortly after, there is a sudden and vortex generated from the point of detonation that violently draws the shards back in before collapsing into nothingness. The spear does not regenerate until his bankai is activated again.

As always runes and power ignite along the spear when extended. When released the wards flare before power and ash shoots off of the body and head carrying it quite literally like a rocket to the point of detonation.

Ability

Breaking the Line: Not entirely for looks, Zakeriah's steed can carry him across the battlefield much more quickly than he could ever hope to on his own. The steed moves at an effective speed of twice Zakeriah's own up to a value of 10,000 (Zak would be at 5,000 hohou) at which point it remains carrying him at a value of 5,000 greater than his own. This does not give him access to any hohou techniques he does not already know but he can make full use of those he does.

As the steed runs his dark fur ignites with silvery sparks of flame as do his claws causing the wolf to leave a flaming trail of silver fire in his wake.

DAMN YOU CUR
I was planning on giving Echo a mount in Bankai.

Van
I have no idea if this is way underpowered or way overpowered but something tells me it isn't quite right.

Materialize, Fidelacchius
FIDELACCHIUS
THE SWORD OF FAITH

Sealed Form
The sealed form of Fidelacchius (Fi-de-Lock-E-ohs) is a rapier, a light but longer blade more for thrusting than slicing and of a decidedly European style compared to the normal Japanese weaponry carried by Gotei soldiers.

Shikai Form
The appearance of the rapier wielded by Echo LaSalle changes only slightly when released into shikai, but the change is noticable. The blade, normally a proud steel, becomes transparent and almost crystalline in appearance. If it catches the light it shimmers and can leave rainbows in its arc.

De Anima Hortorum
Echo's inner world shifts and changes dramatically, but usually takes the form of a clearing in a forest. The clearing is full of flowers, but the exact arrangement and composition of the flower fields seems inconsistent each time she travels to her inner world. The deaths of many members of her family have caused heavy dark clouds to constantly hang over the forest clearing. Fidelacchius calls the inner world 'the Soul Gardens'.

Fidelacchius, the Sword of Faith
Since she is a master of illusions and belief, Fidelacchius rarely appears as herself - sometimes she appears as a Pegasus other times she appears as a dove, but she always seems silvery in appearance, like her form is always reflecting the light the way a sword would. Her true form is that of a woman seemingly made of mercury; her quicksilver form able to morph as needed into other things. She speaks quite softly, as if all her words are merely suggestions Echo chooses to believe are truly being said.

The woman herself is subtle and graceful in whatever form she chooses to appear in. Rather than be enigmatic, Fide would prefer to not answer at all, or find another matter to occupy Echo's attention. Fide wants Echo to believe in her, because this belief is the core of her powers, much as Echo wants people to believe in her vision of the LaSalle family and the good they do. Fide is the manifestation of this desire, this hunger to have the faith of others. But she is also quite reserved, and serene; qualities Echo aspires to but falls sadly short of.

Shikai Abilities
Fides Traversa (Misguided Belief)
The strength in Fidelacchius comes from the simple notion that faith is a powerful force. Fides Traversa uses the power of faith against the unwise. Fidelacchius’ illusions would be meaningless without the power of the mind of their victims, so each turn that a person can see Echo or Fidelacchius, their belief in the reality of the illusions grows slowly but steadily. After a long enough time even a skeptic would begin to find faith in the images Fidelacchius creates. To maintain this effect, Echo must pay 1% of her reiatsu per round. If she elects not to, no new faith is added but the current level of belief persists until Fidelacchius is sealed.

Tantibus Vigilesque (Waking Nightmare)
In order to inspire faith, Fidelacchius needs to first give someone something to believe in. Tantabis Vigilesque allows Echo to weave an illusion from her mind; anything from a meteor falling from the sky to the effects of a kidou to another warrior, and project them into the world. The stronger belief someone has that these projections are real, the more damage the projections can do. Echo cannot maintain more than three active projections and each costs 3% of her reiatsu to make. At complete belief that her illusions are real, the maximum power her illusions exert cannot exceed her investment in those illusions.

Fictus Alae (Fake Wings)

As an Enchanted Blade, Echo LaSalle was an avenging angel, as a healer she is an angel of mercy. As the master of Fidelacchius, Echo is an angel of judgment. Fictus Alae allows Echo the ability to use her faith in Fidelacchius to augment her abilities. At the cost of 500 reiatsu and one use of shunpo, Echo can grant herself illusory wings, and launch herself into the air. If she is given reason to doubt her wings, she immediately falls. She can only remain airborne until her next turn and must launch herself directly up from her current position, no change of course other than that allowed by her regular shunpo is allowed.

Justine can create strands of reishi particles that anchor her bow and body to the ground or nearby surfaces. Though this requires Justine to sacrifice her ability to move at all while firing, arrows fired from Irdenen Falken while in its Haubitze state have the potential to travel farther and hit harder. By expending 10% of her reiatsu, Justine can shoot an arrow that travels 20% farther than her regular maximum range. The paid reiatsu is also added to the power of the shot. Regular arrows can continue to be fired while under Haubitze. Haubitze can be maintained for one round, and three rounds must pass before she can use it again.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd I'm back to Masato

[Awakening: Sanzoku] - デスペラード
Desperado

By directing his post-human powers inward, Masato has obtained the ultimate expression of his Advent awakening in the form of Sanzoku. Upon activation, the gunslinger’s body is wreathed in arcane energy, coalescing around his currently equipped firearm. The weapon becomes an embodiment of Masato’s power, warping and twisting into the shape of a massive and ornately designed revolver that glows with spiritual power.

[Attack: Kikai] - ルーレット
Roulette

Sanzoku’s primary ability is Roulette. While in his awakened state, Masato’s revolver, at the cost of 1% of his reiatsu, can at random generate one round of Orpheus’ varying ammunition types and fire it with each pull of the trigger. This ability is not limited to currently equipped ammunition types. The output of the resulting round is equal to the bullet’s base damage plus the cost paid for Roulette.

[Ability: Sokusha] - ラピッドファイア
Rapid Fire

The power of Masato’s Initial Awakening is somewhat understated when compared to the far flashier previous incarnation of his post-human Awakening. Regardless, Sanzoku is still quite capable of dishing out punishment that meets or exceeds the firepower of its predecessor. Each time Roulette is activated, Masato may store 2% of his reiatsu to gain a stack of Rapid Fire. At any point after activation barring the initial turn, Masato may spend these stacks to utilize Rapid Fire’s primary effect, allowing him to fire a barrage of bullets equal to the amount of reiatsu stored in a single turn. Each shot activates the effect of Roulette, but cannot generate additional stacks of Rapid Fire. A maximum of five stacks may be stored at any given time.

[Resonance Attack: Ryukan Koukei] - でかい口径
Massive Caliber

Upon reaching 25% Resonance, the true destructive power of Masato’s Initial Awakening is unleashed. Massive Caliber, as its namesake suggests, greatly increases the magnitude and power of the gunslinger’s attacks when utilizing Roulette, converting simple bullets into powerful elemental blasts reminiscent of the effects of his power’s former incarnation. Massive Caliber augments a single use of Roulette per turn, and costs Masato 10% of his Reiatsu. Attacks augmented by Massive Caliber are doubled in effective range.

[True Awakening: Sanzoku - Gun no Ichi] -アーミーの一
Desperado: Army of One

The purest expression of Masato’s post-human Awakening, Army of One is activated at 50% Resonance. Throwing his spiritually-imbued firearm into the air, Masato causes countless weapons to rain down from the sky over a thirty meter radius around him -- hundreds of ornately designed repeaters fall onto the battlefield, haphazardly rooting themselves barrel-down over the Awakening’s area of effect. Each rifle holds a single shot of a random ammunition type, and each type is distinguished by a distinct glow from the weapon.

[Ability: Umeru] - リフィル
Reload

Though the initial activation of Army of One leaves Masato with no shortage of weaponry, the ebb and flow of battle sometimes demands more firepower. In such instances, the gunslinger can pay 3% of his reiatsu to reset the area of his Awakening’s effect around himself, summoning additional rifles in the empty spaces, and banishing ones that leave the active area. Weapons summoned by this effect, as on activation, are loaded with a single shot of a random ammunition type.

[Ability: Dagan Soukudo ] - ショットスピード
Bullet Speed

Army of One is an absolute expression of the power of Masato’s soul, and its area is his domain. As long as his True Awakening remains active, the gunslinger may pay 500 reiatsu to quickly blink between any active (unused) weapon summoned by the effect of Army of One in its area of effect. This effect can only be activated once per turn, and the speed of its activation is determined by Masato’s Agility stat.

[Attack: Kikai Danmaku] - ルーレット レンパツ
Roulette Barrage

At the True Awakening level, the destructive powers of Sanzoku are multiplied exponentially, further increasing the efficacy of Massive Caliber in the form of Roulette Barrage. While Army of One is active, each weapon summoned by its effect gains the augmented effect of Massive Caliber, firing powerful elemental blasts as opposed to simple bullets, at the cost of 10% of Masato’s reiatsu. In addition to the increased range, weapons augmented by Roulette Barrage apply the effects of both the Force and Pierce Advent Human Base Techniques passively.

[Overdrive: Samui-chi] - サム-チ
Cold Blood

At the pinnacle of his power, Masato can unleash the ultimate destructive force of Army of One in the form of Cold Blood. Available at 100% Resonance, Cold Blood epitomizes the overwhelming nature of Sanzoku. By paying 40% of his remaining reiatsu, Masato can summon a massively oversized, ornately designed firearm, resembling a gigantic anti-material rifle. After a brief charge, this weapon is capable of firing a massive blast of raw spiritual energy. This blast has a range equal to three times that of Masato’s primary equipped firearm, and is capable of tearing through most any obstacle in its path. Barriers struck by Cold Blood are bypassed, and have half of their total durability deducted from the total output of the attack. Upon firing Cold Blood, Masato’s Resonance is reduced to 0%.

Subbing releases for Kyuto as my 2nd PC:

Zanpakutou:

Like her, Kyu's zanpakuto is small, slightly shorter than a wakizashi. The weapon has very little guard to speak of, being little more than a slightly enlarged flare between handle and blade. The sheath is a smooth, lacquered green. The handle is wrapped in light tan cloth and there is a long, bright-green tassel hanging from the silver pommel. Her pommel has the same summer snowflake symbol as her bandana.

Kyu normally slides the zanpakuto into the back of her belt and draws it underhanded.

Shikai

Name: Nananen Ki
Release: Kishikaisei, Nananen Ki

Form:
The sealed form of the zanpakuto flattens, then broadens and lengthens. The shape is similar to a machete or a wide dao. Upon release, Kyu’s shihakushou changes color: her hakama becomes a bright tan and her keikogi turns a vivid red.

Koushou (Arsenal):
By paying 1% Reiatsu, Kyu can copy her blade. The copied weapon either appears in the air nearby or attached to the pommel of her other sword. Kyu can only have up to four swords connected together, and only up to seven swords total. By paying 5% reiatsu upfront Kyu tosses her current sword(s) in the air and they fall back to the ground as all seven swords, in the shape of a XIII: four blades connected in the shape of a shuriken, and three individual blades.

Soubi (Equipped):
Kyu can summon one weapon freely to her hand every round.

Bankai

Name: Shonanoka Nananen Ki

Form:
When Kyu tosses up the form of her shikai and calls out, "Bankai!" the blades lengthen and broaden again, widening near the tip and curving to a sharp point, similar to a falchion blade. Though each blade is large enough to be wielded with two hands, they are no heavier than their shikai counterparts. Similar to her shikai, the weapons land in the formation of a Xiii: four swords connected at the pommel and three separate. However, where before there was one such set of seven swords, in Bankai Kyu summons seven sets of seven, for a total of forty-nine blades. These blades rain down upon the release of Bankai, solidifying in the ground all around her and her enemies. One hand clutches a four-bladed shuriken while the other hand holds three blades between her fingers.

Kyuto's left eye turns amber while the right remains grey-violet. Her clothing changes again, becoming a fiery red sleeveless robe, split at her right hip to reveal her leg with loose tan leggings.

Kabuto Hei (Armed Warrior):
Kyu has mastery over all of her weapons, able to teleport them back to herself. Up to seven swords can be summoned to her hands per round: the first is free, but after that Kyu must pay 200 reiatsu per individual sword or 1000 reiatsu to call seven at once.

Kyouken (Strong Throwing Arm):
Burning 2% reiatsu per round, Kyu is able to throw her blades with great force, launching forward in a straight line with the full strength of her zanjutsu up to 40m.

Dengeki Sakusen (Blitzkrieg Tactics):
By paying 400 reiatsu, Kyu can instantly teleport to any of her blades within 15m, which must be immediately used for an attack or risk having the energy of the movement blow the weapon away. She can do this only once per round, separate from shunpo.

Dai Arashi (Raging Storm):
Shonanoka Nananen Ki's final attack involves utilizing up to seven blades within 15m of a single target. Kyuto pays 20% of her total reiatsu and enters into a hyper state. In an instant, Kyu attacks the target seven times, from multiple directions.

Due to the strain, Kyu cannot use this attack more than once a battle.

Next week I'll finish bleeding another 7K into him for TA sub 8D;;

Initial Awakening - License to Kill

The secret behind Caleb’s rise initially as an agent of MI5, License to Kill is takes the agent’s already potent ability to read his targets and refines it into an art. When activated, his reiatsu appears to thicken, before shattering around him like hundreds of fragments of glass. What appear to be three targeting reticles, no larger than the size of a fist appear around his body. While not potent offensively, he can freely maneuver them in a thirty meter radius around his body.

For Your Eyes Only - 0% Resonance

By paying 1% of his reiatsu per turn activated, Caleb refines the sensing capability of his Reiatsu Nouken immensely. He is automatically able of getting detailed positioning information of all targets within the range. All noise is removed when For Your Eyes Only is activated, refining Reiatsu Nouken to the point where he can individually identify reiatsu signatures that he has met before.

He is able of simulating and analysing multiple possible vectors at once, granting him the enhanced capability to tracking their movement and the possible paths they can take. This manifests itself as the ability to recognize high-speed movement techniques as long as he has at least 35% of the target’s movement stat.

From Russia With Love - 0% Resonance

Passively, From Russia With Love drastically increases Caleb’s baseline accuracy. By manipulating the targeting reticles he is granted the ability to pick apart the target’s body to know exactly where to strike.

After landing a successful hit, Caleb is capable of memorizing the exact trajectory of the bullet that caused its successful strike. By paying 2% of his reiatsu he can lock-onto the previous hit and recreate the optimal trajectory to land the strike. Bullets that he fires that round, as long as they are aimed towards the target, will home-onto his target, following them until they either strike their target or are stopped.

You Only Live Twice - 25% Resonance

A maneuver emphasising both his superhuman analysis capability and his refined finesse with a weapon, You Only Live Twice is a potent two hit attack. When activated, Caleb singles out a point on his targets body, firing a bullet with devastating accuracy towards the strike. He then instantly repositions himself in a blink of an eye, moving up to twenty meters from his original location before firing a second shot at the exact same location. Empowering the second strike with reiatsu, the damage is amplified on hit.

If the vector of his movement was plotted out, it would appear completely erratic, with only Caleb knowing the true path, causing his high-speed movement to be completely untraceable. Each use of You Only Live Twice uses up 5% of Caleb’s reiatsu and can only be used once per turn.

Sorm - Approved. You don't have to keep the "can only use this once" on attack #3.

Cur -

Shikai -
Approved. A change and a some buffs. Note that a 'form switch' costs a slot for your kai, since you only used two, that form switch is the third. Please move it into its own slot, but don't repost for this. Further, you may lower the cost of the attack to 1%. Lastly, lets have the 2nd effect last 5 turns per use. Note: Don't repost these, just tweak and you're good.

Bankai -Approved but repost

Your forms are intense. You're writing this kai with your heart and I see that in what you present. I like that. Kudos to you for not f'ing around about this. However. . . your forms sneak abilities into them: I don't like that. Lets have those spears be strapped to you or the wolf or both at kai creation (I like 6 total if you do, instead of 5); And for BK, lets just have them be all big ass spears. Monks use staves and spears in close combat for choking and sweeping so its all good to me.

Ability: Change; You want to have a phantasmal wolf that moves you around rapidly: I can dig this. We have to be careful though, as stat buffs are removed from kais. Instead of spelling out hohou effects, lets just say that: the wolf moves with all the grace and speed one would expect from such an animal, and is capable of violating the laws of physics much like a shinigami can. Since this is your BK ability slot: hitting the wolf has no effect and you don't have to tank the damage yourself.

Attack 1 - Great: lower to 3% cost;

#2 - Good. paying a cost = definition of attack by our loosest standard, so we're good here.

#3 - Solid. Now that's an attack. Cool.

Katie - A LaSalle Kai indeed. Septimus would be pleased to see what came of her work. But will she live up to the name that trained the Kenpachi and forged its own legend in the world of Souls? I want to see Echo as a real noble, someone who doesn't have correlation to the other characters I've seen you write. I hope you take her and have her stand on her own two feet.

Shikai - Approved

Your wings seem somewhat weak to me at the opportunity cost of a shuynpo. Lets say they can change course.

Kawa -
Approved

I was thinking of having the min requirement be 1 round of anchoring but can stay longer, but this alternative is fine by me too. big range, big damage, but gives your opponent a chance to close the gap if they are clever enough.

On to the next batch soon, posting this because its getting long.

Sev - IA is approved. That's twice I've read it now and twice I came to the conclusion that not only is it workable, but its pretty darn cool.

TA - Approved. Kafreakingboom.

Will - Shikai is approved.

BK - Approved. With great hesitation. I hate teleportation in kais, as they have the opportunity to present extreme abuse. However, we've talked on this before in the past and while I am skeptical, its not in the bounds of a denial. Plus, you've always proven exemplary in all our fighting collabs, praise nearly exclusive. The kai fits the character very well.

Arun - Touch it up; Ok, as a baseline overall feel, it feels right. The theme and effects tie in well. I'm concerned however. You also had the good luck of naming him after my eldest brother, and I really respect Caleb.

#1 grumble grumble grumble. I really want to say no, but, I don't think I can.

#2 Lets say 'the next bullet he fires.'

#3 - Thinking on this; have a few 'fade' shifts that baffle the opponent rather then calling it completely untraceable. Hard to react to is more fun to write against then impossible.

Bankai Repostage! Changes in This Color!

The two small spear sheathes vanish and a new specialized holders appear slung across his back to hold the now constantly extended spears at an angle without interfering with his motions and allowing him to easily draw over his shoulders. Each sheath holds two of his six total spears, when he grabs one of the weapons the length of it erupts into the same ashy smoke that fell from them before.

Along the great right flank of the wolven steed is a holster similar to those crisscrossing the shinigami's back, holding the final two of Zakeriah's spears.

He may use the maw to the same effect as his spears so long as he rides the beast.

Attacks

Judging the Weak: 3% reiatsu.

Shortly after, there is a sudden vortex generated from the point of detonation that violently draws the shards back in before collapsing into nothingness.

The steed moves with all the grace and speed one would expect from such an animal, and is capable of violating the laws of physics as his master. Zakeriah has full access to his normal movement abilities while mounted.

As the steed runs his dark fur ignites with silvery sparks of flame as do his claws causing the wolf to leave a flaming trail of silver fire in his wake.

What appear to be three targeting reticles, no larger than the size of a fist appear around his body. He is automatically able of getting detailed positioning information of all targets within the range. All noise is removed when For Your Eyes Only is activated, refining Reiatsu Nouken to the point where he can individually identify reiatsu signatures that he has met before.

By paying 3% of his reiatsu he can lock-onto the previous hit and recreate the optimal trajectory to land the strike. The next bullet he fires, empowered by the reiatsu he paid in, will home-onto his target, following them until they either strike their target or are stopped.

His body accelerates to a truly staggering speed. His body appears to continuously blur. The blur is not caused due to an internal effect, but rather him moving at such high speed, that the opponent can actually see him returning to his original location slightly offset each time. Physical tracking of his movement would reveal him moving through the battlefield at a hyper speed. This erratic movement makes it extremely difficult to track his movement, requiring the enemy to have at least his agility stat in their primary movement stat to attempt to track it. Each use of You Only Live Twice uses up 5% of Caleb’s reiatsu and can only be used once per turn.

True Awakening - Live and Let Die

At 50% Resonance, the true potential of Caleb Fletcher’s mind is unlocked. However, compared to other Advent Humans, his True Awakening appears to be rather mundane at first glance. There is no change to his outside appearance from Initial Awakening. The targeting reticles become more complex in design and what appears to be a single holographic screen appears next to him. Instead of being wasted in the environment, his reiatsu is cycled continuously through his body, amplifying his mental capability dramatically.

A View To A Kill - 50% Resonance

Entering True Awakening amplifies his capability to analyze and extrapolate the environment around him immensely, going even farther than his capability in his Initial Awakening. By paying 1% of his reiatsu per turn activated, Caleb refines the sensing capability of his Reiatsu Nouken immensely. He is automatically able of getting detailed positioning information of all targets within the range. All noise is removed when A View To A Kill is activated, refining Reiatsu Nouken to the point where he can individually identify reiatsu signatures that he has met before. Furthermore, in True Awakening, he is given detailed knowledge of the structures of the area in his Reiatsu Nouken range, a dynamic, accurate mental map.

He is able of simulating and analysing multiple possible vectors at once, granting him the enhanced capability to tracking their movement and the possible paths they can take. This manifests itself as the ability to recognize high-speed movement techniques as long as he has at least 35% of the target’s movement stat. In his True Awakening, he is now capable of also reading his targets attack patterns amplifying his ability to react to their attacks.

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service - 50% Resonance

Passively, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service drastically increases Caleb’s baseline accuracy. By manipulating the targeting reticles he is granted the ability to pick apart the target’s body to know exactly where to strike.

Caleb’s control over the trajectory of his bullets in True Awakening is astounding. Upon striking a target, he is capable of memorizing the exact location and trajectory of the bullet that struck the location. In True Awakening, regardless of the direction he initially fires his bullet, his following shots will track and home-onto the locked-on bullet for the following round. To activate, Caleb must pay 3% of his reiatsu. He can launch a mix of homing and non-homing bullets if he so chooses. For every 250 reiatsu in the attack he can fire one homing shot and each bullet is individually empowered by the reiatsu cost, split among the number of shots fired.

Dr. No - 50% Resonance

Amplifying his physical and mental capability simultaneously, Caleb can merge the two together to create a potent offensive force. When activated, he enters a state similar to Break, the world slowing to a standstill. In this brief moment, he is capable of rapidly cycling though weapons and ammo firing each shot in an instant. After this moment, the entirety of the shots he chose to fire are launched at once, appearing to have all occurred instantaneously. Activating Dr. No costs 10% of Caleb’s reiatsu. He can fire a maximum of four shots. The damage of each shot is equal to the regular shot amplified by the reiatsu cost split among them.

Casino Royale - 100% Resonance

At maximum resonance, Caleb’s reiatsu reaches its pinnacle strength. Due to the continuous cycling of his reiatsu through his body, in Overdrive, he capable of releasing it immediately. His analytical strength wildly scales, allowing to plot of of hundreds of possible vectors of attack. The targeting reticles of his awakening appear in front of him, before multiplying to match the number of targets. A virtual representation of his Reiatsu Nouken range expands around him, enemy targets appearing as red dots.

The reticles appear over their targets, as he locks onto them all simultaneously. By paying 30% of his reiatsu, he can launch a devastating attack, simultaneously firing at all targets at once. The damage of the attack is split between the number of targets he selects. The bullets fired rip through mundane objects with ease and carry the effects of the base tech Pierce. He can choose to augment each shot with a single bullet type of his choice. The range of this ability is his Reiatsu Nouken range.

Resubmitting my Shikai like I'm supposed to... I think...

Unreleased

Zanpakutou:
Tod’s Zanpakutou is a naginata that is five feet in length, from tip to butt, with a plain black hilt and a foot and a half of the length being the blade at the end. About another half a foot down, there's a metal joint that connects the hilt of the weapon to the rest of the staff and blade half of the weapon. The weapon itself can split off from each other, with a twist of the parts opposite of each other at the joint, the blade part disconnects from the staff and becomes two separate weapons for use in each hand. The weapon can be used for mid to close range fighting and is good at keeping foes at bay. It comes with a sheath for the blade but Tod usually keeps it unveiled just in case he gets into a fight.

Shikai

Spirit's history:

Tod’s spirit has recovered to the point where it can come together again. It’s much more powerful since Widow Maker and Mist Fox were but fragments sent to guard and deal with the trauma of hurting Tod. The new spirit’s voice and touch is as cold as death.

Manifestation:
The combined spirit is called Grey Man, it is a humanoid creature with pale skin and a ratty brown cloak covers the spirit’s entire body. The only part that he can see on the creature are its hands and from its chin to its upper lip on its face. All of the flesh is shows is a pale, almost deathly, white. The lips are a pale pink color, as if they barely remember they held warmth and color at one point. It’s always dripping blood from it’s fingers and it’s feet leave bloody footprints.

Whenever it does show it’s face it can choose a face of anyone that the soul reaper has seen. Usually though the spirit chooses Tod’s own face. The scar at the boy’s neck is always bleeding on the spirits neck and it usually keeps that mark no matter what face it wears. When it changes faces it lowers the hood of its robe back over it's face for a moment before taking it back off with a new face.

Inner World:
Tod’s inner world shifted the moment his two spirits combined. No longer is it simply a swamp with a tree in the middle. Instead there is a house made in the old log cabin style as well as the tree that was Widow Maker protruding from the center of the house. The swamp itself has frozen over, creating loud crunches every time someone walks upon the grass and the part north of the house out the great window in the cabin is a cliff that seems unending.

Spirit Name:
Haiiro no Hito (Grey Man, 灰色の人)

Release Command:
Show them the chill of death, Grey Man

Shikai Release Form:

View attachment 128

The release is still the same katana with a few small differences. There’s a two inch length difference, it is a little longer than an ordinary katana, giving it a deceptive reach since the length difference is only see-able in close proximity. The blade turns white as snow and the hilt changes into that of a snowflake, the snowflake's design is different every time he releases. The handle of his katana changes from the checkered pattern to a pure black the color of frostbite.

When he releases his shikai the area within fifteen feet of the sword becomes noticeably colder, causing some to shiver the moment they feel the chill.

Shikai Abilities:

Koori no Mikaduki (Ice Crescents, 氷の三日月): Tod creates a crescent of Ice from his blade slash, much like his previous shikai. However now he doesn’t need to store up moisture since he can use ambient moisture. The ability costs 3% of his rei to use and at every 3500 rei he can create another crescent to attack with right behind the first one maxing out at 5 crescents total. Each extra crescent created this way costs an additional 1% rei.

Touketsu Suru Sekai (Frozen World, 凍結する世界) Tapping into his spirits’ nature Tod can actually freeze the world around him. He sets up a trap by stabbing the ground and freezes the ground within a five foot radius of where the sword stabbed. The power even freezes up an inch. This power costs 3% of Tod’s rei to use. At every 2500 rei he can freeze an extra inch upwards, maxing out at 10 inches, for an extra 1% rei cost per inch.

Vizard attack Slot:
Kurai Tsuki Disuku (Dark Moon Discs ,暗い月ディスク) : While wearing his mask Tod can, by gaining rage instead of using reiatsu, create his Ice Crescents in a new, less pure, way. By gaining 5% rage instead of using his reiatsu he can replicate his ice crescents, except the crescents are corrupted with an oily black look amongst the clear ice. Additionally the soul reaper can gain rage instead of using reiatsu in creating extra crescents just like his normal ability. For each extra crescent made while he’s masked he can gain 2% rage instead of spending the 1% reiatsu needed to create the extra crescent.
