Release Submission Thread

Name: Martire
Italian Phrase: Prosciugare i miei nemici. Lo sciame, il Martire
English Phrase: Drain my enemies. Swarm, Martyr
Released State

Upon saying the release phrase, Martire will take form of a Rapier and Sho will finally be able to fight with his more proficient form of armed combat, Fencing. This increased his skill with his Zanpakutou and enables him to fight at a higher level. A strip of blue light flashes down the centre of the actual blade itself as a hint to the allies it contains within; reiatsu bugs. Sho can call forth a swarm of reiatsu composed bugs from within the sword. The entire swarm is able to cover a humanoid and they follow orders given by their master.

Shikai Abilities​

1. The initial swarm, per battle is free. Due to the reiatsu the bugs are formed from, Sho is able to regenerate a dead swarm at the cost of 5% reiatsu
2. Mente di alveare (Hive Mind): Sho directs the swarm to attack and latch on to his opponent. The swarm are able to cover the entire body of the opponent and this leads to many problems. The reiatsu comprised bugs give off a horrible smell in addition to impairing the eyesight of those they’re covering which thus affects their ability to see Sho and also their ability to move around on the battlefield. The bugs are also heavy and weigh down the opponent which slows their movement down. Despite the negative impacts of having the swarm on someone, the swarm are able to drain reiatsu by biting into the opponent’s flesh. In addition to the pain of having them biting into flesh (the entire swarm at once feeling like being cut by a blade) for every turn they remain on the opponent, they drain the equivalent of 3% of Sho's maximum reiatsu per turn – to a maximum of 15% (5 turns) at which point they are full and can not drain for a further 10 turns.
3. Protezione altruistica (Selfless Shield): If Sho is in danger of being attacked the swarm can cover his own body to protect him from danger. The reason that this does not function the same way when he is attacking an enemy covered by the swarm is due to him commanding them to part to make room for him to attack as his rapier draws near. Naturally, the reiatsu bugs can only take so much defending before the entire swarm is eradicated whilst defending their master.
The amount of hits blocked is affected by the opponent's Reiatsu vs. Sho's Reiatsu.
Opponent's Reiatsu:
Under 50% of Sho's Reiatsu = 6 Hits
Approx. 50% of Sho's Reiatsu ---> Approx. Equal Reiatsu = 3 Hits
Approx. 150% Sho's Reiatsu = 1 Hits
Approx. 200%/Over 200% of Sho's Reiatsu = Bugs cushion the attack, it is not completely blocked. This rises with the Reiatsu difference, to the point where the bugs protect him from no damage.

Name: Leviathan

Release Phrase: 'Submerge, Leviathan.'
Form: Leviathan's initial release takes the form of a overly jagged katar, curving downward from the tip in an S-shaped pattern, punctuated with two large spikes along the way. The blade is fixed to a modest gauntlet and spaulder.
Ability:
Deluge: Leviathan carries within it the dormant secrets of water magic, allowing it's wielder a limited mastery over the element. By expending 10 Reiatsu per gallon per round, she can control the flow and shape of up to 10 gallons worth of water. This technique can be used to bind an enemy who has been soaked, or at the very least slow his or her movements, or as a direct weapon, forcing it into nostrils, mouths, and the like.

Dark Water: By expending 5% Reiatsu, Noburu can compress the water in the air near an opponent, and instantaneously change places with it, similar to a flash-step. This technique is limited to a once per battle use per 1,000 connection.

Vizard Attack:
Tidal Surge: A stern contrast to the subversive techniques inherent to Leviathan, Noburu's Vizard attack is little more than a full assault skill. By expending 10% Rage and generating 5% emptiness, Noburu can create two identical shears of water, measuring 7 feet high and a half inch thick. Upon creation, these blades can be shot forward at an alarming rate of speed. Upon making contact with another surface however, they lose their form, spraying the immediate area with tiny shards of crystallized water, embedding themselves in whatever fleshy purchase they can find.

Trauriger Kardinal: Energy Weapon Form

Description: The energy weapon form of Trauriger Kardinal resembles a shortbow of sorts, and it's around three feet in length. The bow is one foot wide.The reiatsu that composes the bow is colored with a faint red shade instead of the standard blue. Due to Edna's inexperience with the Quincy bow, the bow's form is not entirely stable, and if Edna is wounded or in emotional distress, the bow may lose its solid composition in areas, making it more cumbersome to use. There is no bowstring attached to the weapon. Other than that, the bow functions like any other Quincy bow would.

Powers: Edna's bow does not have an extraordinary powers, except perhaps periodically disappearing.

Quincy bows do have certain rules and powers that automatically come with them though, so I'm posting those here as well.

To fire an energy weapon, one must use his own reiatsu to counter the more powerful nature of the manifested bow. At 1000 conductivity, firing the weapon once costs 100% of his Shuuhaku with that percentage going down by 5% each 1000 conductivity thereafter to a minimum of 25%. This increase in efficiency could allow one to fire more powerful bolts every round or simply a greater amount of less powerful bolts.
 
Shikai for Gihara Sempoku

Name: Kaishi (Mysterious Death)

Zanpakuto Spirit: A specter, dressed in constantly shifting shadows, that seems to force one’s eyes to move past him. The light passes through him, allowing one to see through his pristine form. What is seen of his flesh is grey and black, melding into the shadows he summons and the backdrop he stands against. If you could manage to stare at his face, you’d find that he in fact, doesn’t possess one. A blank slate to betray no emotion, no sign of his purpose. When he speaks, his voice is like a snake slithering through silk.
Incantation: Kakureru, Kaishi! (Conceal, Mysterious Death!)

Form: Two hiltless daggers. One appears to be made of volcanic glass, obsidian, with a white bone handle. Because of the material, the edge is unbelievably sharp, yet brittle. The other however, is made of even less substantial stuff; shadow. It should be noted that in his own shadow, this second blade is not reflected. This second dagger also can not harm, unless used in conjunction with Shishou or Shinkan abilities.

Ability 1 Shishou (Puncture): This ability allows Gihara’s shadow dagger to attack. Instead of attacking the main body, the second dagger attacks the victim’s shadow. This attack isn’t as potent as a straightforward stab from his main dagger, and only does around half the damage as such a mundane attack, and requires Gihara to focus reiatsu through the dagger in order to transfer the damage to the host, costing about 1% of his total rei for two attacks.

Ability 2 Shinkan (Still): This ability is a holding technique. Gihara plants his shadow dagger in a spot in someone’s shadow, pinning it to that spot. The corresponding part on the owner of the shadow is also pinned in such a way. This technique requires 3% of Gihara’s Reiatsu per turn to continue and activate. Normally Shishou doesn’t activate in conjunction with Shinkan, however, if a person tries to forcibly move the pinned piece of the shadow, by say gripping the pinned arm with the free, and wrenching it out of position, Shishou can be activated at Gihara’s discretion.

For every 500 connection stronger an opponent is than Gihara, it costs an additional 1% reiatsu to hold them with Shinkan.

Attack Bypass: Gihara combines his two daggers, creating a misted obsidian dagger with the ability to bypass non-living matter (spiritrons included) in order to wound his opponent critically, or even mortally. In effect the dagger bypasses other Zanpakutou, armor, or any inanimate object in order to sink itself into Gihara’s opponents flesh, however, it also eliminates any chance Gihara had of a parry. In addition to this, upon hitting his opponent, the obsidian dagger shatters leaving thousands of small shards embedded in his opponents flesh. This normally costs 5% reiatsu, but by Gihara can increase the power of the shattering, sending the shards further and further into his opponent by expending an additional 1% reiatsu per inch of tissue. This ability ends Gihara’s Shikai, and requires a full turn before he can re-release.
 
Ok, so I worked my butt off researching all approved kai and worked out one ability that has been approved on another two-ability kai in a more powerful state, actually, so mine is a weaker version(Theft of Vitae). Secondly, I fleshed out fully the second ability and made sure by check around it wasn't stupidly op. In short, Kyuu an cut kidou now, but only weak spiritons/inorganic matter will be dissolved by the blade. So he gets a decent pro at a moderate con. Seems appropriate for a two ability release. Hopefully, working my tush off has an impact.

Weapon: Essential

Release: Unveil the eternal, Essential!

Form: Upon shikai release, the long sword held in Kyuu's hands dissolves away in an outpouring of disruptive spiritual pressure. Much like the universe has matter and dark matter, so does Essential apply the principle of opposites to spiritual pressure. The blade appears to be an engulfing mass of non-perception, an illusion of darkness that is in reality a consumptive field. Licking tendrils of this consumptive reiatsu peel along the wielders body during release. Those near the release likely feel slight disorientation and a disconnected feeling (this is merely a topical effect, it causes no debilitation).

Ability: Energy form
Because of its energy-based state, Essential is *not* able to in this state parry physical attacks(unless they are weak enough to be dissolved, as described below), however it is able to cut through kidou energy. The amount of damage the blade causes when it strikes is unchanged, though the nature of the damage is different. Enemies struck will feel fatigue, numbness, and disjunction in the area struck rather then physical lacerations, as the blade will seem to pass right through them. Thusly, if Kyuu brought Essential cleanly through an opponents arm, the subjected area would fall numb, and the opponent would be unable to react with that appendage, just as if it had been hit by a strong cut from a zanpakutou(instead of severed muscle, the flow of reiatsu to that area is severed and the spiritons are disjuncted).

Much like a normal zanpakutou, this anti-reiatsu effect has varying effects, based on the opponents level of power in respect to Kyuu’s. For opponents ½ or lesser power of Kyuu, the released essential would actually cleanly server and evaporate any spiritual material it contacted with. Thusly, the blade cuts through inorganic/powereless spiritons and material from the real world with utter ease. For spiritual matter ½ to 1 and ½ times as powerful as Kyuu the release acts as described. Strikes cause numbness and loss functionality, depending on the severity of the contact. For enemies greater in strength then 1 and ½ times Kyuu’s reiatsu, the zanpakutou’s released state has minor numbing effects, experiencing great resistance, just as an zanpakutou’s edged is dulled by greater spiritual pressure and may not be able to cut. It should be noted that regardless of the matter Essential contacts, the blade simply passes through the object or person in question. It should be noted that Essential’s reiatsu is created from Kyuu’s, and thusly he is unable to injure himself with the use of his sword.



Ability: Theft of Vitae
When an enemy is struck by Essential in its shikai state, their vitality is harnessed to further Kyuu’s ambitions. Whenever essential makes contact with an enemy. Kyuu may elect to steal an amount of reiatsu from the enemy. The amount stolen is equal to 1% of the enemies reiatsu plus an additional 1% of the enemies reiatsu per 5,000 connection attained to a maximum of 5% at 21,000 connection.

Kyuu may use the reiatsu to fuel his own personal power, adding to his reiatsu the amount stolen. He may not exceed his normal maximum reiatsu when using this form of the ability. Any excess reiatsu stolen and used in this manner is simply burned off. When reiatsu is stolen, Essential guides the new source of power to fuel Kyuu’s endurance in battle. Any wounds attained prior to the use of Theft of Vitae are temporarily sealed(like how Zengetsu sealed Ichigo’s wounds), however, new wounds that are acquired remain open and may only be sealed if Theft of Vitae is used again.

your abilities are written out in a way that's very difficult to follow but I'm tryin here...

you need to elaborate on this 'cut through kidou' ability; you just mention it in an offhand way but dont explain how it works at all. being able to cut through any kidou is pretty much crazy and won't happen, and if it did there would be some serious costs involved., relating to the cost of the kidou and the strength of the caster and so on..

I also dont get this business of 'evaporating' spiritual matter. what? if you want to do something like that, make it a seperate ability and give it a cost.


ability 2: this is the one you got from rits' and needs changes. the amount you can drain should be a percentage of your own rei, not the enemy's. 5% is fine, but you can use the ability.. let's say once from the start and then one more use per 5k connection up to a max of 5 uses. If you want it to heal you then in the case where wounds are being sealed, you aren't recovering rei at the same time. its either one or the other.
 
~Energy Form~

Description: The design itself of Saku's weapon was inspired by the fire arms wielded by several guard personals on his little break in mission at the local bank. Having figured that a gun would be a more easily used weapon, the Quincy spent time working on condensing spiritual energy until he was able to manifest it in the form he wanted. Said form is a hand gun, green beign the dominant theme color of the weapon. In design it is no larger than a hand gun, though two noticable differences would be the two slots along the side of the barrel, which open up when the weapon begins to take in enery, as well as the sights on the gun which is infact a replication of Saku's quincy cross. Other than those two features, the gun very much resembles a desert eagle, both in size and in fire power.
 
Zanpakutou: Essential

Release level: Shikai

Release Phrase: “Unveil the eternal, Essential!” which may be shortened to “Unveil, Essential!”

How it works
Activating the shikai of Essential allows a partial release of the blade’s ability, to generate a constant outpouring of energy. While death gods and other beings of significant power generate spiritual energy to use as fuel for their power, Essential generates a energy that interacts uniquely with other matter and energy. Welled in the world of Essential, this vast, nearly boundless energy awaits the chance to be released. By learning his zanpakutou’s name, Kyuu has been able to marginally open the gates that lock in this force in place for a time.

In short, less fluffy terms: If analyzed by the 9th division, they would find Kyuu’s zanpakutou seems to flood the world around it with a constant barrage of energy that is capable of dissolving weaker energy or particles and temporarily incapacitating stronger ones by disrupting their nuclear-level bonds. The energy seems to be tied some how to Kyuu’s on reiatsu, and thusly he is able to endure it with no damage to his own form.

Form
As the gates to Essential’s world are opened, the zanpakutou floods the slightly opened way with a constant barrage of the energy it has accumulated inside. Thusly, the material form of Essential is dissolved instantly in a flash of terrible consumption by the forces it contained. The weapon retains the shape of Essential's sealed state, that of a odachi, but is comprised of the destructive energy it floods out. Dark lashes of energy rise from the blade as it is held, as if seeking out matter to consume or destroy.

Ability Activating Essential costs 2% of Kyuu's reiatsu per turn until it is sealed again.
(In reality, this ability is much like the bakudou number 4, when hit things go numb and become useless for some rounds. That in and of itself isn't impressive, what makes this kai enticing is that its a versatile kai for Kyuu to play with, because it interacts with all types of matter.)

Essential’s new form is its most potent ability during its released state. Because of the composition of Essential is now a gout of energy, anything unfortunate enough to come into contact with the blade is effected by its ability. Any spiritual or physical matter or spiritual or physical energy that contacts the blade is subject to an affect based on the following table.

Less then 1/4 of Kyuu’s reiatsu in total strength
Matter that falls under this category finds itself injected with such a potent energy that its bonds fracture on a nuclear level. All things that Essential passes through that are this weak are destroyed, as if the substance or energy had literally evaporated when viewed by the naked eye. If a living creature of this strength or a soul is struck, the blade will cut just like a sword would, leaving the flesh cauterized and seared.

1/4 to 1.5x Kyuu’s reiatsu in total strength
Matter that falls under this category finds itself injected with foreign energy and its ability to function severely impaired. Matter distorts and warps, no longer able to channel any form of spiritual pressure or energy correctly. Thusly, if a living being or spirit is struck in this manner, the part of the creature struck is rendered useless. The creature may not place spiritual pressure into that portion of its form nor may it channel any form of kidou through or against it. Visually, that portion of the creature will appear to “shimmer” as if a mirage in the desert.

Greater then 1.5x Kyuu’s reiatsu in total strength
Matter or energy this potent will find itself disrupted, but not incapacitated. Anything struck by Essential in this manner remains only 80% functional as its form is saturated with Essential's energy.

Additional information
It should be noted that for anything not permanently destroyed the incapacitation lasts for a length of time dependant on Kyuu’s connection OR if Essential is sealed it ends that turn. When Kyuu’s weapon reverts to its normal form, the lingering energy is no longer controlled and will dissipate rapidly. Otherwise, it will congeal on a target struck for one round for every 3000 total connection Kyuu possesses, up to a maximum of 10 rounds when Kyuu has achieved 30000 connection.

It should be noted, since Essential is a constant outpouring of raw energy, it merely passes through objects and either obliterates or debilitates them. Thusly, regardless of the consequences of this ability, Essential suffers no resistance when contacting matter or energy of any sort. Thusly, anything the blade is unable to dissolve would pass through without incident(such as a zanpakutou or particularly potent energy attack).

Ability
Kyuu may spend 200 reiatsu to take mental control of the blade for one round. He may lengthen the blade OR widen the blade OR direct its motion without use of his body. The blades length or width may increase by 1’ for every 1000 connection gained, to a maximum of 15' at 15000 connection. Kyuu may change the direction of the growth, but the blade will then revert to its normal form immediately upon completing its change. This reversion also occurs after the blade is widened. The changing of the blade if used offensively relies upon Kyuu’s zanjutsu stat to determine success. If the mental control is used to attack, it too relies upon Kyuu’s zanjutsu stat.
 
Raisuki ("Lightning Moon")

Release Command:Hibana za kyuuten Raisuki (Spark the Heavens, Raisuki)

Manifestation:
Raisuki takes two forms for Doreran upon their meetings. Her first, and most used form is a wolf with a blend of white and royal-blue fur. Complete with sharp, white teeth, and a furry tail, she has sparkling blue eyes, almost as though her irises sparked with lightning. Her second, and personal favorite of Doreran's, is the form of a wolf-girl. Voluptuous and busty, she is, physically, the perfect woman in Doreran's opinion. Raisuki is relatively nude despite the well placed traces of white and royal-blue fur that act as under-garments. In this form her eyes have no difference, though her teeth, besides her canine teeth, are more relative to human, and she has long blue hair that goes with her still wolf like ears. These different forms are used depending on her mood and motivation.

Element: Lightning

Shikai Form: Upon calling the release command, Doreran's (most time, his right) free hand will crackle with lightning. Dark clouds cracking with lightning gather around the unreleased form, and form into what the released form will be, and sliding his hand across Raisuki's sealed form will awaken it's initially released form. The released form is a double-bladed 5 inch thick and 4 foot long broadsword with an arrow shaped form. Lightning is constantly crackling around the blade.

Sora Doki (Sky's Wrath): Doreran fires lightning into the sky, and causes a lightning storm to appear. The storm's base range is about 100 meters, and follows Doreran wherever he goes. This storm allows for Doreran to use the ever constant lightning in the storm to power his attacks.

Raigeki (Lightning Strike): Doreran expends 2% of his reiatsu to swing Raisuki to cause a slash of lightning energy to fly at his opponent. (Without using Sora Doki)

Amatsu tsume Surashu (Heavenly Claw Slash): Using Sora Doki's influence, Doreran uses 2% of his reiatsu to control the lightning in the storm, and 2% more to use preform Raigeki that is now able to bring down three, claw-like slashes. The slashes are about 5 meters in length and only 1 in width and are always 2 meters apart from one another.

Seiteki Ryuushutsu (Static Discharge): Slamming Raisuki into the ground, Doreran is surrounded by an expanding orb of lightning. This technique can only be performed after three turns, and is powered up if not used during the third turn. The maximum number of turns are five for max damage. The move (at three turns) expands three feet around him and above him, and the move expands two feet for each turn held. (Without using Sora Doki)
 
Name: Aragon Tenbanto

Race: AH

Stage: True Awakening

Form:
Similar in that the form is a controlled flurry of playing cards orbiting around Aragon as a natural defensive dome of some sorts. However the only noticeable change is a sudden change of his hands in that they appear to emit a black glow. If one is close enough to see into Aragon's eyes they will also notice that there looks to be a black back light in his eyes as well when his power is active.

Combat Specs:

Still telekinetically control, Aragon needs only to be conscious to use the ability, though it helps to have a clear head as well. This stage of awakening still retains the two core abilities as developed in the first stage, those being the control of the cards and an explosive feature.

Ability- Superior Manipulation:
In growing knowledge as to how to manipulate the cards, Aragon has gained more freedom in the manner to which he can use them ranging from simulating a sword to using several to act as a magic carpet. Given the ability to manipulate the required number of cards as well as having enough cards to do so, the latter of manipulations could potentially be used to generate a means to bypass heavy traffic on his motorcycle.

If used as a shield the number of cards used to form the shield only increases the area capable of being blocked and the number is independent of the strength. The strength of the shield is reliant solely on the difference of reiatsu Aragon and his attacker in very much the same manner as it was in the prior stages.

Less than (.75 or lower): The attack does not exceed beyond the card barrier

Equal to (1.75 to .75): The attack can potentially break through if applied long enough.

Greater than (1.75 or higher): The barrier offers little if any resistance to the attack.

Max cards controlled at one time: 13/ 1k of harmony however he is limited to the number of cards in his immediate proximity

Ability-Replacement:
As an expansion of his talents, Aragon is no longer restricted to using playing cards as a medium for his ability. Instead his ability now can be enacted on any small item within his near vicinity with a range increasing to what he can visually confirm. Through this the effects and properties afforded to the playing cards are also afforded to the items of interest this ability is applied to. In doing so Aragon is no longer limited to the number of cards he carries on his person in any given fight, however this is not flawless. Being accustomed to using playing cards any item that deviates away from two of the dimensions of a standard player card induces a loss in the number of that item that can be used.

In short Aragon can use items like guitar picks, poker chips, and monetary bills in the same numbers as he could play cards but items like forks, spoons, and throwing knives can only be used in half of the numbers. So at 8k harmony, when Aragon could potentially use 104 playing cards, he can only use 52 forks.

Ability-Explosive Nature:
Having had time to develop and practice those core abilities, the differentiating line between shielding and attacking has been dissolved, to where the cards to Aragon are like a zanpaktou to a shinigami. They can be used to defend or attack. As such Aragon no longer has to physically touch the cards to induce an explosive quality, but instead choose which ones he wishes to enhance as such.

The resulting explosion from the selected cards has effectiveness relative to the difference in power between Aragon and his opponent(s).

Less than (.75 or lower): The explosion can cause up to third degree burns, and serious damage to the body.

Equal to (1.75 to .75): The explosion can cause up to second degree burns, with surface damage being of some concern.

Greater than (1.75 or higher): The explosion can cause minor surface damage to being about on par in annoyance to mosquito bite.

To enact this ability it costs Aragon 5% of his reiatsu for every 13 items selected.
 
SHIKAI​

[Release Phrase]

“Magnify, Boruda.”​

[Release Motion]

When releasing Boruda, Rokku slams the tip of his zanpakutou against the tip of his sheath to produce a very low pitched sound near equivalent to a very loud bass drum resonating. While the sound is occurring, his zanpakutou shrinks in its length while his sheath is warped out of his hand and into a metal sphere at the tip of the sword. This continues at a fast rate (2 seconds) until it forms into its released state.
ALTERNATE:
Rokku can say the release phrase while the sword is sheathed, and the zanpakutou/sheath will simply take its true form.​

[Form]

The released state of Boruda is small blunt weapon that is only about 1.2 feet in length. It has no hand guard and it has a brown leather grip. The grip looks as if it was poorly wrapped and some of the leather dangles down a small bit from the bottom of the handle. The texture of the metal leading up to the sphere is a lighter shade of gray but by no means “shiny”. Instead it has more of a rustic look to it and looks like it would shed a bit if rubbed on something. The Sphere at the top is also a very dullish shade of metal, almost like a dark gray. But even though it is dull in color and reflects little light, the texture has a metallic glossy feel to it and is naturally smooth all over the surface. The sphere has about 2 times the volume of a baseball.​

[Ability 1: Boruda’s Sphere]

Boruda itself is a manifestation that represents looking beyond the surface to see a true identity underneath the exterior. This is translated into Boruda’s Sphere while it is in zanpakutou form. The sphere is located at the “tip” of this blunt weapon and is not easily mistaken for any other part of the zanpakutou. The sphere essentially acts as conductor for Rokku and inside of the ball is a highly concentrated amount of his own reiatsu, effectively creating a powerful repulsive force that Rokku himself is immune to. This ability is always active and will release a “burst” of reiatsu onto anything it comes in contact with whether the zanpakutou is moving or not. This ability has no cost.​

[Attack 1: Magnification Increase] (Obtained at 2000 Connection)

The repulsion effect, although powerful, will always have a maximum limit of repulsive power that is reflected by Rokku’s current reiatsu/strength. But after a bit of mastery, Rokku has been able to create an attack that surpasses Boruda’s limit. At a cost of 5% of his Reiatsu, Rokku can add his own reiatsu into the sphere for a single attack that doubles the effects of the repulsive force. This move can only be used once per every 2000 pts in Connection and maxes out at 5 attacks.​

[Ability 2] (Obtained at 4000 connection)

Once Rokku has completed a much higher bond with his zanpakutou, he will be able to suppress the repulsive force that would otherwise always be at its maximum level of repulsion. Once Rokku reaches this state, he can control exactly how high the repulsive force actually is; all the way down to having no repulsive force at all. This does not mean that he can go over its maximum limit by any means either, this ability only limits. This ability has no cost.​

Shinigami only get 3 attack/ability slots in their shikai, so you're one too many. Your sky's wrath ability (100m lightning storm) is way too big for a shikai and i suggest nixing this one (and using something like that in your bankai instead, where its more appropriate). Then for your claw slash ability I'd suggest reducing it to being the triple claw-slashes, rather than calling down lightning bolts. The other abilities/form are fine.

Raisuki ("Lightning Moon")

Release Command:Hibana za kyuuten Raisuki (Spark the Heavens, Raisuki)

Manifestation:
Raisuki takes two forms for Doreran upon their meetings. Her first, and most used form is a wolf with a blend of white and royal-blue fur. Complete with sharp, white teeth, and a furry tail, she has sparkling blue eyes, almost as though her irises sparked with lightning. Her second, and personal favorite of Doreran's, is the form of a wolf-girl. Voluptuous and busty, she is, physically, the perfect woman in Doreran's opinion. Raisuki is relatively nude despite the well placed traces of white and royal-blue fur that act as under-garments. In this form her eyes have no difference, though her teeth, besides her canine teeth, are more relative to human, and she has long blue hair that goes with her still wolf like ears. These different forms are used depending on her mood and motivation.

Element: Lightning

Shikai Form: Upon calling the release command, Doreran's (most time, his right) free hand will crackle with lightning. Dark clouds cracking with lightning gather around the unreleased form, and form into what the released form will be, and sliding his hand across Raisuki's sealed form will awaken it's initially released form. The released form is a double-bladed 5 inch thick and 4 foot long broadsword with an arrow shaped form. Lightning is constantly crackling around the blade.

Raigeki (Lightning Strike): Doreran expends 2% of his reiatsu to swing Raisuki to cause a slash of lightning energy to fly at his opponent.

Amatsu tsume Surashu (Heavenly Claw Slash): Doreran expends 3% of his reiatsu to charge his blade, causing three identical blades to appear, and all three blades perform Raigeki. The slashes are about 5 meters in length and only 1 in width and are always 2 meters apart from one another.

Seiteki Ryuushutsu (Static Discharge): Slamming Raisuki into the ground, Doreran is surrounded by an expanding orb of lightning. This technique can only be performed after three turns, and is powered up if not used during the third turn. The maximum number of turns are five for max damage. The move (at three turns) expands three feet around him and above him, and the move expands two feet for each turn held.

Form "" Gloves of Synthesis​

Seika's hands will become coated in a strange, dark gray, metallic substance, spanning spikes from the tips of his fingers. With these "Gloves" defending oncoming attacks will become much less dangerous, allowing Seika to parry blades with the metal surface of the Gloves; aside from this the gloves seem to be a mainly cosmetic feature of Seika's awakening.

Once awakened Seika gains the ability to seemingly create metal from thin air, though this is not the case, Seika's awakened form provides an adaquet source of metal which allows Seika to synthesize all manner of things from metal, this process will take several seconds, however the speed of the synthesis will be increased tenfold if there is a more regular source of metal. (E.g. a street lamp)​

Norukaze omotemuki kumo no ishi, Toryuha! - Ride the wind on a cloud of stone, Toryuha!

Toryuha: Tiger Dragon Blade


Manifestation: Toryuha is a zan spirit composed of two entities. One of which is a wind elemental dragon, and the other is an earth elemental tiger. The dragon (Ryuu) has green glistening scales accented with lines and patches of blue scales. Its golden horns sweep backward from his face and are sharp at the tip. It has a long gracefully shaped body with muscles that are lean but deceptively powerful.

Ryuu represents the peaceful and gentle aspects of Shoju’s soul, usually coaxing the shinigami to avoid conflict or find the least violent solution to a situation. The tiger (Tora) is very large compared to a normal tiger, his hide is a rich tan color with stripes that are a deep chocolate brown as opposed to the normal orange and black of other tigers. Tora is the avatar of Shoju’s aggressive and macho side, always trying to motivate Shoju to take the tough guy route or kick ass first and ask questions later.


Form: Shoju draws his saya from his waist band and places it next to the blade of Toryuha. Loose rocks begin to drift into the air propelled by gusts of wind around Shoju's body. The saya disappears and melds with Toryuha’s blade increasing the length and height of the blade by 1 foot and transforming Toryuha into a giant nine ringed broad sword that curves at the tip. All the engravings are the same, just bigger.

Ability: Kisochi - Elemental Force

Elemental Force is the simultaneous use of both the wind and earth elements. For a cost of 10% reiatsu Shoju uses Toryuha to summon a stalactite/stalagmite and a small thin tornado, that attack the enemy from both high and low within a range of 25 feet.

Attack: Ishikabe - Earth Prison

Using his mastery of the earth element, Shoju can form, near a target or himself within a range of 25 feet, up to six walls, forged from sturdy rock for a cost of 10% reiatsu; 5% for the first wall and an extra 1% per additional wall. The wall lasts for 2 turns and can be overwhelmed with a physical or kidou attack that is 15% higher than the reiatsu total put into the Ishikabe.

Attack: Kazekiru - Wind Cutter

For a cost of 5% reiatsu, Shoju can use his mastery of the wind to perform a slashing technique from long or close range. Green wind energy encompasses his zan and dissipates after one swing releasing the energy; which duplicates his attack increasing the number of slashes by 3. With an extra 5% reiatsu the attack can be used to its maximum range witch is 40 feet.

[ Rasen Zetsumei ] - Spiral Death

When masked, an unbelievable amount of raw destructive force becomes available to Atsuma. Utilizing the unstable power of his inner spiral, Atsuma must first manifest the largest drill Kanaduchi’s frame can handle. The maxed out Rasen Hana is then boosted by Atsuma’s hollow side; this power is forced from within into the whirling cone of metal. The hollow energy then permeates throughout the drill, soaking deep into every molecule. Once charged, the drill abrupt locks itself up.

Identifying his target(s) comes but a second before the attack is initiated.

Upon command the cone violently cracks then explodes into 15 miniature sized versions of the core drill, each one spinning maliciously and packed with volatile energy. Each small weapon has a target marked; using Atsuma’s mental focus on the enemy as a guide the drills fly towards them. The initial explosion serves as their main source of propulsion, though each drill is lured to their target as if magnetized by their reiatsu signature. Once coming into contact with an enemy the drill bores itself as far as possible into the foe before exploding.

Up to 15 individual targets or just one can be targeted by Spiral Death, and the range each drill can chase an enemy maxes out at 20 meters before the detonate automatically.

This attack requires 25% rage and 5% Reiatsu, while adding 15% to emptiness.

[ Ekabu Setsumei Amaji ]
-Eternal Faithful Servant, Fate Cutter Path through the Heavens

As the two-word release phrase is uttered, Setsumei Amaji’s blade blossoms into an explosion of light – a cacophony of various interpretations of a heavenly radiance. Thousands of different shades of the purest light radiate from Masato before the release is completed; the divine hues linger in the reflected sheen of objects before slowly fading to the Ban Kai of Masato’s Zanpakutou.​

[ Form ]

The first thing the opponent will notice after the release is completed is that they appear to have been ripped from reality – around them, beyond the illuminesence of Ekabu Setsumei Amaji, is nothing but darkness. This is nothing more than an optical illusion created by the large amount of light being released by the new form of Setsumei Amaji. Anything beyond the illuminated area, a circle with a radius of 5 meters per 1k connection beyond Masato with a cap of 100 meters, appears to be complete darkness to an opponent within the area. Similarly, to an opponent on the outside, there seems to be a dome of light of similar radius. One can enter and exit this range at their own desire, but their eyes will need a good amount of time to adjust to the different light levels.

Setsumei Amaji’s blade loses both its material form and sword shape, taking the form of a spear crafted from a golden-tinged light. This weapon has ‘physical’ attributes comparable to that of any spear used in hand-held martial arts, most notably that of a hybrid between a qiang and a su yari, combining the flexibility of the former with a blade typical of the latter (though honed to an impossible sharpness). The tassel behind the blade has a considerably more golden nature than the rest of the weapon.

The spear itself is heavier than a normal spear, making it harder to control without a good deal of practice – Masato’s ability to use the spear is outlined by his ability to use the kai in general. When mastered the spear affords maneuverability and power nearly unparalleled – but mastering it is a difficult process, and the % effectiveness of the kai details Masato’s proficiency with the spear. When moved through the air, Ekabu Setsumei Amaji seems to paint a ‘trail’ of light that lingers for a half second that is nothing more than visual – whenever the blade cuts something, however, that area will have a mark of incandescence that will not fade until the Ban Kai is resealed.

The light emitted from this kai is that of the greatest order of the divine – and it is the form of Masato’s reiatsu. Terrible, pure, and unable to be re-created by any other means, it can pierce any darkness to some capacity. Though the kai’s release usually ends up nearly whitewashing a large area, the white hue does not impair Masato’s vision – instead, it enhances it. Whether illuminating a square mile at night or weakening the darkness, the Ban Kai’s illustrious nature affords Masato a raised amount of visibility.​

[ Ability ]

Chaos is the score upon which Reality is written

With the release of Masato’s Ban Kai, the world around him becomes noticeably agitated – colors become harsh, sounds become more jarring, and any chaotic or flashy reaction is magnified. This is not the ability of Ekabu Setsumei Amaji, but instead a byproduct of its terrifying ability. This Ban Kai, formed not by Setsumei Amaji, but instead by Masato’s inhuman drive, allows for the thriving of Chaos.

Anything within the illuminated area, which is 5 meters for every 1k Connection from Masato with a maximum of 100 meters, experiences the feeling of increased ‘entropy’ – chaotic disorder. If chaos can happen, the chances of it happen are magnified (stones will roll for longer amounts of time, water may spontaneously steam, one will slip on mud easier, etc…). The true terror of this entropy, however, lies within Setsumei Amaji’s target – the opponent’s Zanpakutou.

Setsumei Amaji’s area of effect creates a large amount of chaos between Masato’s opponent and their Zanpakutou upon Masato’s command – abilities become random, uncontrollable and arbitrary for the opponent’s next turn. Reference details on how different kais are affected follow:

Ability Control Kai (Heraaminen Kirjokansi, Sokugin)

The ability of an ability- or control-based kai is made chaotic and uncontrollable – the user of the kai will lose control over some or all of its controlled substance.

Per-Hit Kai (Fuhen Taishokukan Seikan)

Some hits may count towards the per-hit counter and some hits may not – Ekabu Setsumei Amaji cannot ‘un-do’ previous hits.

Per-Turn Kai

The effect that turn is comprimised. A negative effect will never be applied.

Area of Effect Kai

The area of effect's border is affected - it will bend and warp into odd shapes with varying widths.

Form Change Only (Seikan)

Ekabu Setsumei Amaji has no effect on kai that only have a form change.

Kai Attacks

Ekabu Setsumei Amaji has no effect on kai attacks.

By comparing Masato’s current connection to the opponent’s, one gains an understanding for how effective Ekabu Setsumei Amaji’s disruptive effect will be. For every time that the opponent’s kai is affected, Masato expends 1000 Reiatsu. Masato can use this ability only a certain amount of times – starting with 2 uses, he gains another use per turn he gains in Ban Kai.

When Masato has mastered Ekabu Setsumei Amaji, he is able to use the effect indefinitely – however, any uses beyond those given by the earlier parameter require twice the normal cost.​

[ Attack ]

Kyokujitsu ‘The Rising Sun’ – Focusing his light-colored reiatsu into his blade, Masato amplifies his own power with that of his Ban Kai and fires the intensely tempered light out of his blade. The speed of the attack reflects that which it is made out of – the light that the Ban Kai emits so easily reaches the opponent almost instantly. Kyokujitsu’s power and speed are devastating, but so is its cost. The light itself is mostly powered by the Ban Kai, but the cost of taming and refracting the light is incredibly taxing – though it depends on how much of Ekabu Setsumei Amaji’s power is used, the minimum cost is 15% of Masato’s reiatsu. This attack can be used a maximum of three times.

Netsutekishi ‘Heat Death’ – A counterattack usable only after Masato has cut the opponent’s body and the wound is illuminated; Netsutekishi is used when an opponent prepares to fire an energy attack. By forcing his energy into the illuminated wound remotely, paying the full cost of the enemy’s attack, Masato is able to ‘interrupt’ the energy flow in the opponent, scrambling the energy flow of the attack and ‘detonating’ the energy within the opponent’s body. This takes the form of a brilliant explosion of light from within the opponent’s body that does damage equal to the original attack’s power. This attack can be used twice.​
 
Solertia

"Wind the day into night, Solertia!"


Name of the soul slayer: Solertia
Kai release: Shikai

Manifestation of spirit: Solertia is a female of taller than average height with an athletic (but distinctly feminine) build. The woman's deeper skin tone contrasts sharply with the snowy white hair that frames her face and falls nearly to her hips. Confident, blazing red eyes accentuate her strong image. The reflection in them is rarely one of weakness.

Red also seems to be her favorite color, as it's all she's ever seen in.

Her voice is strong and steady; firm, but feminine. It holds the same pinch of accent that Wisteria's does, and similar to her master, Solertia's accent increases as she gets more aggravated or excited.

Quite unlike Wisteria, however, is the demeanor of her blade's soul. Solertia tends to be cruel, rude, sharp, intentional. She hardly seems to care for the feelings of others. Though it would seem she feels the same disdain for her master, she doesn't. There are times that she goads Wisteria too harshly, but she ultimately treats the woman like a younger sister, and deeply cares for the well being of both of them.

Form of the released blade: Once the phrase of release is uttered, Wisteria's short katana flourishes a deep red, bleeding into a long, crimson scarf. The scarf itself is nearly eight feet in length, and is incredibly narrow (only about two inches in width). Each end of the scarf is weighted, so that it may be used as a more advanced rope-type weapon, if desired.


Ability one: Laughing at the naive new moon.
With the scarf being such a free form weapon, this ability makes it more versatile and practical for offensive and defensive actions. At will, Wisteria can cause the scarf to harden and/or sharpen. She can also urge Solertia to solidify into different shapes that would be more ideal for fighting with. This ability uses 100 reiatsu for every round that it is active.

Ability two: “Extort the familiar.”
With the help of this ability, Wisteria can steal shadows, store them, and use them to her advantage. Natural shadows from buildings, trees, etc. are fair game, and may be drawn from at will. Solertia also grants Wisteria the ability to steal the shadow of another person, but only if their target has twice her amount in reiatsu or less. The shadows Wisteria collects can be stored for twenty-four hours. After the end of their storage, the shadows leave the woman, then slink over the ground to return to where they belong (or to whom they belong).

Ability three: “Idle hands made useful.”
Idle hands are made useful with shadow sewing. This ability can be used for a handful of different purposes. Probably its most useful ability, shadow sewing can be used to bind the opponent. The amount of bondage put into place and the amount of time it lasts depends on the reiatsu stat of the user versus the reiatsu stat of the victim. The sewing is also made useful in its ability to add a shadowy length to Wisteria’s released weapon, should she need more to work with. And finally, the dark stitching can be used to bind up a wound. The binding is only temporary, and will only last twenty-four hours once put into place. Medical attention may still be required. The use of shadow sewing costs 3% of user’s total reiatsu for every round it is used.

kish - it seems like you totally went and added in more stuff/didn't really follow my suggestions the way i was expecting but anyhow... i've never gotten so many complaints about a submitted kai before. Like literally 10 or 15 people have informed me of how much they hate this one, and yeah, there were all valid points...

you've basically still got abilities crammed into your form, the light and all that. yeah, multiple abilities even.

the ability is too strong and is solely anti-shinigami as well as being super difficult to RP (basically i got people saying to me there is no way in hell they'd fight you with that kai, quite a lot of people, so that's something you might want to consider...)

the other thing is you add in so much extraneous self-praising language that it makes the kai description about 2x as long as it would be otherwise, haha. please have a lil consideration to the ppl who have to read it D: you can't really say stuff like unparalleled and highest order and etc in a kai description... i really really dont like that >__< try saying what it does and what it looks like in a more objective way, please.

The attacks are fine, except for some language stuff again. 'almost instantly'... no thx. the speed is based on your combat stat, whether its light or a slash or whatever. doesn't matter.
