Release Submission Thread

Jean Claude Randamn – I need more info on what your arms can change into and all that. How big and how heavy can they get and all that? Ekirei is generally limited by the amount of material in the sword itself, and that’s probably the closest analogue to your ability.

Kuma – I need a cap on the amount of spheres, and remember that having a concrete cost will limit how easy these spheres are to blow up so be careful. I would caution you in that we already have a guy who has floating cards and another one who has floating puzzle pieces so the whole "I can move around various floating objects” schtick is really really tired at this point.

Unwholely –Ability 1 – My main issue with this is that it seems like it can completely negate the need for a hohou stat at all with some sort of tesseract step, which would not be good. I realize you would probably be using it to bend the space between the enemy and close range attacks, but the potential exists for problems.

Ability 2 – I could write a lot of stuff about this, but I already wrote it all in the FAQ. please read the kai faq about summons

Tex – Ability 1 – this is a pretty big amount of variation in terms of power. That power should come at a price and I’d probably only allow it in a two ability release

Ability 2 – I am okay with this in that if someone attacks a giant electrical conductor with a fist or a metal object, they are probably going to deserve what they are going to get. However, remember that the cost is equivalent to the damage and that 200 is going to be nigh-pointless by the time you are at higher levels. You might want to think about making this a percentile attack as I figure whoever is fighting you is going to get the idea after the first time they hit you. Might as well make that one surprise hit count.

Ability 3 – I think if a guy is fighting you in the water, he probably knows that a lightning bolt is going to hurt more. There’s no reason to attach a concrete mechanic to it, as not all conductors are created equal anyway. I think you ought to drop this and focus more on the shocking. You and the other player can just RP how conductors affect the battle.

Hiren – weakness vision –okay

Summon – read the summon FAQ plz. Summons drain stats. You gotta fix your core mechanics before we get to the nitty gritty.

Shadrack – u are approved. Welcome to the bk club

Added the distribution of stats part (whoooops sentence forgetting fail >_<) and upped the cost of summon. Changes are in Red.

True Awakening: Tortona

Ability: Aera Cura

To Ciro, a person is nothing more than a puppet. By activating Aera Cura, his right eye turns a deep red color and becomes pupil-less. The ability allows him to briefly glimpse into a person’s spirit and pick out the aspect of their soul that is the easiest to manipulate, whether it be a tender moment, a fear, anxieties, or even a personality flaw such as cowardice or temper. There is no cost to use Tortona.

Ability: Pluto

The Tarot, to Ciro, is ruled by spirits than inhabit each of the cards. Pluto allows the Italian to pull out the spirits into a corporeal form. By expending 45% of his reiatsu, Ciro can physically summon a being of the Major Arcana from the card.

Each of the spirits appears similar to the picture on the card (however inanimate ones will be given humanoid forms) except in an eerie grayscale. A golden banner, with the name of the card, wraps around the summon’s eyes as a blindfold. Thin wire-like strings of reiatsu connect body parts of the summons in to his fingertips, giving them the appearance of marionettes. Ciro can provide them a weapon upon summoning (usually the same as what is depicted on the card).

Ciro’s stats are lowered by 45% and distributed to the summon’s stats. The summon’s Combat and Resistance stat pool together into a Rage stat. The remaining stats are based off hollow stats.

Stats-

Reiatsu- Sum of all stats
Rage- The summon’s combat potential. Determines aptitude with the weapon that the summon possesses.
Agility-The summon’s speed
Ability- This is the stat that governs the summon skill with whatever its particular skill is.

A summon can choose TWO of the following abilites:

Lima-

The reverse of each tarot card represents a negative emotion. Upon physical contact with an opponent, a puppet can project the negative emotion onto a person, amplifying it. The emotional manipulation lasts for four turns before dissipating. This costs 2% of the ability stat.

Mania-

The summon can launch spheres of concentrated reishi from anywhere on its body or weapon outwards in rapid succession for the cost of 100 ability per sphere.

Antevorte-

Ciro often calls his summons corporeal ghosts because of the ghost-like properties that they possess. This attack launches a high frequency, high pressure sound wave, in the form of a painful screech, outwards in a V-shape, with a maximum diameter of 10 feet. Due to the nature of the attack, these sound waves are capable of reflecting off of solid surfaces. They travel 30 ft outwards before dissipating. The cost for the attack is 5% of the ability stat.

Aeternitas-

Ciro’s nickname “The Trickster” is well deserved. By paying 10% of its ability stat, the summon can swap places with Ciro instantly. Due to the large amount of concentration needed to swap locations, the ability can only be used four times. The maximum distance there can be between him and his puppet is 75 feet for the ability to work.

Mors-

As a last ditch attack, a summon can choose deconstruct itself, releasing all of its remaining energy in a large pulse of reiatsu that extends in all directions. The power of the blast is completely dependent on the remaining ability stat of the summon, ranging from a small shock wave to a large explosion. This ability has no cost due to the fact that the summon is sacrificed.

Mewts, I'm not too sure what you mean by the first ability only to be in a two ability attack...

Changes in bold.

Initial Awakening

Ēlectricus

Form - A feint yellow glow starts to form around Miki, making it seem as if she had been gold-plated, her eyes return from a gray-nothingness to yellow, and thunderstruck-like scars form around her body. The major scars start from her shoulder, runs past her arms on one end and the other end runs down towards her stomach and back. The minor scars form around her ankles and parts of her lower legs. The last two scars are formed around both her eyes.

-Ability: Offensive- Impulso Di Scossa [Shock Pulse] [Long-Range]
By focusing the electrical substances within herself into one palm, Miki can unleash a Shock Pulse out her hands. The pulse itself looks just like a thunder-strike and is therefor not bigger nor is it smaller than the average thunder-strike. The pulse itself acts just like a normal thunder-strike would in that it is capable of feats ranging from barely paralyzing to near-death.

The attack's cost is 10% of Miki's total reiatsu each time it is used, the percentage is also the base strength of the attack.

-Ability: Passive- Cappotto Di ElettricitÁ  [Coat of Electricity] [Short-Range]
Because of the thunder-strike that caused Miki's powers to awaken, she herself has become a source of electricity. Electricity will also always try to attach itself onto Miki, making her frequently get hit by thunder-strikes during storms.

Due to this Miki is more prone to give of Static electricity when touching things, even if her abilities are not activated. When her abilities are activated, however, it will turn her into one giant static charger. By paying 10% rei she can momentarily enhance her static charges, when touching someone/something, to give a static shock to whatever she is touching.

idiot, i was thinking i'd forgotten something (change in bold)

Mani di Metallo [Metal Hands]

Form - Ewan’s arms become covered in an organic metal, cold to the touch and obviously much more solid than his own skin. In addition his hair takes on a greyish tone.

Ability - Expending 100 Reiatsu, Ewan can change the shape of his metallic arms, taking on other forms, provided it constitutes the same amount of material as its basic form. Once a form is taken, he must return his arms to their regular shape before he can change them to another shape. The cost applies to changing the arms into another form AND back again.

Release Level: Shikai

Name: Reitou Sekai (Frozen World)

Release phrase: Give me space, Reitou Sekai

Manifestation: Reitou Sekai

Inner World: The inner world is actually a universe in itself. There are many planets each one holding some significant feature of Shin.

Reitou Sekai's emotions are normally the antithesis of Shin...putting them at odds with each other. Despite this, he is highly intelligent and can't stand the foolishness of anyone but himself. He has a certain disdain for humans and human-type zanpaktous calling them meat or fleshie (He can tell which is which). He also takes control of Shin whenever he's doing poorly or if he just feels like it.

Release form: When Shin release his zanpaktou, the blade and hilt and is replaced by a blue orb. Upon swallowing the orb, Shin's body is covered in a transparent layer of concentrated space for protection.

Ability 1: Shin is capable of creating and manipulating intangible space. Shin can increase and curve the space between two areas. It costs him 1 pt of reiatsu for every yard of space he increases or curves, capping at 20 yards. Though the effect is instantantaneous it can last to about 4 seconds before the effect diminishes.

Ability 2
: Shin is capable of placing a tiny ball of tangible space within any object he hits with his body. At Shin's will, he can either increase the space around the ball and bloat the area or decrease the area around it and cause everything around the ball to be sucked into itself. Orb can not enter vital areas of body(Brain, Heart, etc) though it can be moved about. The effect costs 2% of Shin's reiatsu.

Initial Release

Name: Furemawari no Ginga (Galaxy Whirling)

Form: A pulsing swirl of light in the shape of a spinning galaxy emanates from Zakki's chest tattoo and spreads across his body.

Ability One (Offensive):

This ability costs five percent of Zakki's reiatsu to use. The ability concentrates Zakki's reiatsu to any point in his body and emits a burning spiral of light that spins outwards from the point where it is released. The attack causes damage by radiation burns which will worsen over time. It also consumes non-human flesh with similar burns.

Burning Tsubaki's spec point from Summer PM's.

Shikai:
Onslaught
Rough sketch of form
onslaught.jpg

Release Phrase: "Unleash my wrath, Onslaught!

Form: Onslaught's initial release takes the form of an Ono, measuring just over three feet from toe to heel. While shorter than an average sword, the weapon offers additional weight and crushing force that lends itself to shattering blades and bones.

Manifestation: Onslaught itself adopts a form which appears neither male nor female. A roughly human figure clad in scattered wrappings of tattered or mismatched cloth and armor rises to the summons, looking back at its master from behind an ornate mask. Impertinent and flippant, the spirit seems to invest very little in the dealings of Mabara Tsubaki outside of combat. Brazen by nature, the spirit's decisions and advice under fire are more often than not reckless and bold, perfectly befitting a member of the fearless duelists.

Manifestation
onslaught-1.jpg

Attack: The Inexorable - No matter the size, nearly any weapon can be parried or blocked by a skilled opponent. Onslaught bypasses this simple fact by continuing to channel destructive force into an opponent or their weapon, despite being stopped by that foe. For 500 reiatsu per round, the surface of Onslaught resonates with force, splintering ordinary steel on contact and breaking the bones of any limb that touches it, be they friend or foe. Should the weapon be blocked by a Zanpakuto (sealed or in the initial release) Tsubaki may expend reiatsu to break the weapon. The amount of reiatsu expended must exceed the foe's Zanjutsu stat, and has no effect on Ban Kai level releases.

Ban Kai:

Abandon

Form: Upon releasing her Ban Kai, Tsubaki emerges clad in a simple black yukata, eschewing heavier clothing and all aspects of defense to land the killing blow. The axe itself grows even larger in size, measuring five feet from top to bottom and demanding even greater skill to use efficiently.

Ability: The Ravenous - Nearly identical to The Inexorable, Tsubaki's attacks are able to sunder defenses and strike at that which would have remained safe otherwise. The Ravenous requires no reiatsu to maintain, and the reiatsu required to break an opponents weapon is reduced to half of their Zanjutsu stat. If the weapon comes in contact with an opponent's Ban Kai, Tsubaki may expend reiatsu equal to 1.5 times the foe's Zanjutsu stat to break the weapon. In addition, any limbs or bodies that come in contact with Abandon suffer jagged lacerations of the skin in addition to the breaking of bones.

Attack: The Titan - By expending 10% of her current reiatsu, Tsubaki is able to "overcharge" her weapon with the destructive energies that dwell within it. Immediately after the cost is paid, Tsubaki slams the weapon into the ground beneath her, effectively loosing a tremor measuring between 5.0 and 6.0 on the Richter Scale. While not especially damaging to any nearby foes, the tremor is more than sufficient to render all but the most staunch of opponents off balance. The attack has a range of 15 meters.

Attack: The End - Abandon's one and only true attack costs 50% of Tsubaki's current reiatsu to execute, and is designed from the ground up to be a killing blow. The attack brings Abandon downwards in an executioner's chop, concentrating the whole of the weapon's destructive powers into the blade of the axe. On impact the force is released, casting stone and earth aside as it drives the target down into their grave. Should Tsubaki expend reiatsu equal or greater than the foe's Zanjutsu to perform the attack, any weapon used to block is instantly destroyed, continuing through to the flesh that held it.

Mr. Hawkins – Ability 1 would be better as a passive buff because it’s not really strong enough to warrant being active (meaning you don’t have to pay for it).
Ability 2 is another passive buff
Ability 3 costs too much. Usually you can’t have something that costs 10% in a 3 ability kai. Also what you describe here is basically an undefined zan boost that gives your zan some undefined amount of extra speed. It needs parameters. Also if you leave things as is, you’ll basically have a 3 stat buff kai, and do you really want that? Denied.

3S – The form costs too much and also make it clear that the multiplier it gives to your strength is an actual multiplier and not an exponential one, because the wording is unclear right now (as in, you get your strength times something not your strength times your strength when modified by the combat passive tech). Also with that boost its strong enough to count as an ability, so this is like a 3 ability release. The is more of paying for an extra venue to use your combat stat (also it’s a lot like Ekirei, but that’s a sidenote). So as this attack doesnt really rely on your base strength that's a concrete cost (see Chiaki's kai for a similar example). The last ability is tacked on and really the release gets too crowded so you might want to drop that last projectile ability if you want the rest approved. Denied.

Hiren – You should reword how the stats get distributed; the wording is confusing right now. Does the summon only draw from two stats or all stats? Is its distribution of its stats fixed or unfixed (i.e. do they have to go to a certain stat or not)? Hint: the summon is weak enough that it shouldn't be fixed. As it stands this is going to make it rough on you to fight single opponents, but if you like how it is then Approved w/ reword.

Rawbtex – 10% is the most an ability (or attack, same difference) is allowed to cost in a shikai, and you have it twice. Lower the cost of both some or lower the cost of one by a lot because it’s too strong so Denied.

Magical!!Tom Approved.

Unholyyggy – Ability 1 should cost more. A lot more. Consider that most abilities cap out at about 30 yards, you have the potential to severely if not completely nerf many ranged folks. That is okay, but you gotta pay for it. Ability 2’s description is really confusing and needs to be reworded so that it makes sense to us common folk. I can't really tell if it costs enough until I know what it does. Denied.

Moonsauce Approved.

Beaks – Someone will get back to you at a later date.

Okay~ Changed both and tuned them down to 5% each.

Quick Note(s)
After considering the similarities (and excess of stereotype) in my earlier submission, I've decided on a different concept in terms of abilities, with a good deal of help from Will. I just know that this is going to catch on something though...

[Yakunan]
Calamity

Arano’s own actions and the appearance of his eyes have led to him believing himself to be a monster of sorts. Yakunan supports this ideology in both its purpose and appearance. When activated, the squelching of flesh occurs as the tiger-stripe scars on his arms disappear amidst bloodied bone. The entire process of activating Yakunan is extremely painful to undergo, often leaving him out of breath. Once activated, its cost immediately takes toll, as his reiatsu is drained to stop the blood loss that Yakunan would inevitably give Arano.

Having it active on one arm requires Arano pay 2% of his reiatsu per turn in order to keep the blood loss under control, while using both arms amounts to 4% of his reiatsu. When active, Yakunan multiplies Arano’s base strength by 2, with this multiple increasing by 1 for every 3000 harmony he has.

The arms themselves have various bones and protrusions now occupying the space on them. On the right arm, small studs poke from the ends of his knuckles, continuing down to each knuckle with a small needle-like bone poking from the fingertip, and two slightly larger thorn-like bones jutting out backwards from the back of his hand. His wrist is now encompassed in a small bracelet-like section of bone, with a small protrusion extending from his wrist.

By willing it to, the protrusion can extend into a half-foot long knife used for stabbing. On the top of his wrist is a small hook like bone sprouting from the top of the bracelet, which can also be extended to form a larger hook the same size as the knife. This hook is sharpened on both sides, allowing for various uses.

Three small spines now occupy his forearm, the inches of space in between them occupied by more thorn-like bones. His elbow ends in a larger spike, jutting roughly out and extending a foot outwards with it seemingly filed down to be almost blade-like, with both sides sharpened. His upper arm is less occupied, mostly covered in plate-like bone that's surface can be equated to very rough sandpaper. His shoulder is untouched save for a few spikes that extend out the back of his shoulder blade. The tops of each thorn-like bone are sharpened, allowing it to create small lacerations to their victims.

There is little difference between the left and right arms, save that the hook and dagger-like blade on the wrist have been replaced with a single wide blade on the top of the wrist, capable of extending to a 2-foot long short sword weapon used for both stabbing and chopping.

Shikai!

note
This should be fine now, but just in case...

--------

Faunus (Faun)

Concept : Treachery and illusions

Command : Irride, Faune! (Sneer, Faun!)

Manifestation : Faunus takes the shape of a satyr. He resembles a bearded human above the waist but has the hindquarters and furry legs of a brown goat. Two prominent horns sprout out from the side of the head and the eyes are bright red.

Faunus is of a double-dealer nature, mischievous and mean. He loves to annoy and bother whoever is near and always answers a question with another question. If you are able to look through his attitude, it's possible to understand that most of his jokes are philosophical and made to strengthen the resolve of Giorgio, who Faunus thinks too naive.

Faunus is the other side of the coin of Giorgio's inner world. The atmosphere is that of a quiet and peaceful forest, but with some unnerving traits. Faunus represents the inner instincts and passions of Giorgio and is able to make them surface.

Spirit
faunus.png

Form : Faunus releases as Giorgio's entire body is hidden in a small twister. His zanpaktou changes to a spear-head sword and it can now bend since it is made of seven sections connected together. The colour of the blade is grey at first, but seems iridescent and changes continuously. The tsuba grows to become a full basket guard, still maintaining something of the cross design.

Released form
spadabash.png

Ability : Fallaciae rex (King of treachery)

Faunus is a mischievous entity and cannot fall easily for illusions. Therefore, Giorgio is much less vulnerable to illusions, and similar tricks. Any ability or effect based on illusions of less than shikai level does not work on him and he is even able to shrug similar effects off himself spending the same cost of the ability, or effect's cost, in Reiatsu.

Attack : Perdentis stigma (Mark of the looser)

On a successful hit, a laughter can be heard coming from apparently nowhere. Then the opponent starts remembering all the time he has failed, from a test at the academy, for example, to a comrade abandoned on the battlefield. Due to this flow of sad memories, his main characteristic is reduced by 10% of Giorgio's Reiatsu at the cost of 2% Reiatsu.

Advent Human First Stage Redux (bold is new stuff)

Form: Floating metallic spheres roughly nine inches in diameter. Kumakichi moves these spheres via mental control.

The maximum number of spheres Kumakichi may have at any time is equal to his harmony divided by 1000 (round down), up to a maximum of ten. The maximum number of spheres Kumakichi may create in a single turn is equal to his harmony divided by 2000 (round normally, minimum of one). Each sphere costs one tenth of Kumakichi's total reiatsu to create.

Bankai Submission

[Ouritsu no Kaihousha] - “The Royal Liberator

Form: The form remains the same as the shikai state. The only thing that appears different is the color of the guard is gold and the cloth around the hilt is white. Senesati can also dismiss and recall the weapon while in Bankai.

[Shigan] - “Warrior's Eye

Ouritsu Tatsujin bestows her master with a sight like no other. This ability grants Senesati with enhanced perception, allowing him to view the world as if it were in perfect light, no matter how corrupt or dark the area may be. Movements, attacks and weaknesses that were once hard to follow or pinpoint, will be much easier to follow with this ability, allowing Senesati a chance for a more preemptive or counterattack. Shigan can divulge even the toughest of illusions and stealth. This ability remains active until Bankai ends.

[Daiichijin: Rakusetsu] - “First Formation: Desquamate

An intangible laceration put into a form of his shikai (Uchisute). Rakusetsu causes internal wounds and debuffs the enemy's highest stat with a successful strike. Although this attack does not leave any visible wounds; pain, blurred vision, inflammation, internal bleeding and even fractured/severed bones can be the result of this attack. The effects worsen before they get better as the opponent will suffer an additional debuff of 6% of Senesati's maximum reiatsu every round after the initial application, up to a maximum of 30% . The effects of this debuff lasts for 2 rounds after the max has been reached. Rakusetsu consumes 4% of Senesati's reiatsu.

Notes: This attack ignores all barriers and weaponry and has no effect against solid objects like walls, trees and other inanimate objects/surfaces. Once Senesati attains 100% power in Bankai, he can apply the full effect of the debuff with a single strike, but the cost associated with the attack will double. In essence the opponent will be at a 'consistent' disadvantage for 7 rounds.

[Dainijin: Koukuu] - “Second: Formation: Offensive Void

This attack is solely focused on negating an opponents attack while up-scaling his own, no matter the form, be it kidou or kai, melee or ranged. The energy absorbed can either be used to increase a single stat temporarily or it can be used toward a future attack. Due to the nature of this attack the costs varies (see explanation below).

If a weaker enemy at 5k used a 5% (250) attack, then Senesati would have to pay 5% of his own reiatsu to cancel, while preserving the other half for an attack or stat boost, to be used within the next 2 rounds or the energy is lost. If the cost of the attack is a concrete cost, then Senesati would have to pay double the cost. In the event of a stronger opponent, say 50k reiatsu, used a 5% (2500) attack, then Senesati would have to pay 1.5 times the cost from his reiatsu to cancel, while only preserving a third of that energy.

[Shuujinkei: Shuukaihou] - “Final Formation: Mass Liberation

Senesati pours his reiatsu into the ground that forms a linear shockwave which moves quickly to dispatch all foes in its path. The reiatsu is released in shards, that burst underneath his opponents', shreding them with multiple lacerations to any part of the body it touches. Anyone who survives this attack will suffer a 20% debuff of Senesati's maximum reiatsu to their speed stat for 5 rounds. This attack is a wide cone that also reaches into the air. The range of Mass Liberation caps at 30 meters and costs Senesati 15% reiatsu.

Note: At 100% power in Bankai, Senesati will inherent the option to control the direction of this attack for two rounds before it dissipates.

Yggdrasil--article_image.jpg

Inner World: The inner world is actually a universe in itself. There are many planets each one holding some significant feature of Shin.

Reitou Sekai's emotions are normally the antithesis of Shin...putting them at odds with each other. Despite this, he is highly intelligent and can't stand the foolishness of anyone but himself. He has a certain disdain for humans and human-type zanpaktous calling them meat or fleshie (He can tell which is which). He also takes control of Shin whenever he's doing poorly or if he just feels like it. The zanpaktou spirit changes dramatically as Shin learns its name.

Release form: When Shin release his zanpaktou, the blade and hilt and is replaced by a blue orb. Upon swallowing the orb, Shin's body is covered in a shimmering layer of concentrated space for protection. This tangible space can be formed into rudimentary small short range weapons such as daggers, or spikes, using up to one foot of space.

Ability 1: Shin is capable of creating and manipulating intangible space. Shin can instantly create a spatial distortion directly in between himself and a target, which lasts 4 seconds. This distortion appears as a blur to the air and creates something of a Hamster-wheel effect: objects, creatures, or attacks entering the distortion travel additional straight distance to reach Shin. Of limited use against long-range attacks, the effect can put Shin out of reach without him moving.

By using at least one yard of distortion directly on the layer of space covering him, Shin can soften impact damage, such as that from hitting a wall or the ground.

This ability costs him 300 reiatsu per yard of space he creates, no more than 10 yards at a time, capping at 30 total yards in a fight.

Beaks
Denied - The thing with breaking people’s zans isn’t going to work. It's just too strong.
As far as the shattering, the way it’s just automatic is too strong so it would probably work better as a shockwave or something. The Richter scale measurements are a pretty un-relatable parameter, too.
All in all it seems like the mechanics would make more sense with a blunter weapon instead of an ax. Also a couple of things to think about: the way you wrote this, it’s pretty focused on fighting shinigami and is also really similar to Lambo’s kai.

Rawbtex
Approved

3S
Denied - There needs to be a cap on the strength multiplier. You should make this ability separate from the form, and you can make it passive. The description of the form needs to be more concise. Way more concise. Think about how much new information you’re relating with each sentence before you include it, and then keep it to one paragraph.

Senej
Denied - The anti-illusion thing doesn’t need a cost or its effects could be broadened to be applicable to any illusion.
The debuff needs a higher cost (about 5-6%) and also needs a round duration at shikai level. Also define more clearly what you are debuffing, because some people’s "main stat” is hard to determine if they have balanced stats or shifting stats or other situation X.

Nekoita
Approved w/ Change - Limit to 5 max (first stage usually isn’t given an opportunity to use up 100% of your rei like that, so this cap will make more sense), or you can go back to your set cost.

Seneoble
Denied - The ability needs a radius.
Attack 1 - The debuff is WAY too big (way, way, way too big) and the barrier piercing thing is a different (and still overpowered) ability and seems randomly tacked on, so just getting rid of it would probably be best.
Attack 2 - A no limits barrier which can absorb the attacks and use them as a buffer. Once again it does too many things and those things are overpowered by themselves. Plus please read or reread or rereread the barrier section of the faq, as right now it pretty much provides 0 shot to anyone with less rei except for the random weakness of concrete costs thrown in, which conceptually doesn’t make sense.
Attack 3 – This is also two overpowered things. Pick whether it is an attack or a debuff because both rolled in to one is not making any sense.
All in all this is a very numbers oriented, debuff focused kai. For additional fun, it could use a fancy form or something to spice up the numberiness.

Unholyggy
Deleting posts instead of just editing them makes puppies cry.
Anyway, Approved w/ Change - The form is an ability and should be separated out as such.

Notes
Added range to ability
Changed debuff of first attack to a lower number and made effects constant (with certain requirements)
Changed second attack to deflect ability that adds a damage modifier to deflected attack.
Removed debuff from final attack

An intangible laceration put into a form of his shikai (Uchisute). Rakusetsu causes internal wounds and debuffs the enemy's highest stat by 8% of Senesati's maximum reiatsu with a successful strike. Although this attack does not leave any visible wounds; pain, blurred vision, inflammation, internal bleeding and even fractured/severed bones can be the result of this attack. The effects of this debuff lasts as long as the enemies are in the radius of Shigan, however, the effects will return once the opponents are in range again, so as long as they have been marked by this attack. Rakusetsu consumes 4% of Senesati's reiatsu. This debuff caps at two applications. The second application being only half the strength of the initial attack for a total 12% debuff.

[Dainijin: Koukuu] - “Second: Formation: Offensive Void

With this attack, Senesati is able to deflect any ranged attack with any part of his body or blade. Once the attack is deflected a 1.5 damage modifier will be added to the attack and sent right back to the opponent or another target of his choice. The speed of the attack will also increase. This costs 1.5 times the cost of the attack that is deflected. Once deflected the attack cannot be redirected by anyone but Senesati. This attack can be performed once for every 3k connection to a max of 6 times. Also Senesati will have the option to follow up with an additional attack in that same turn.

[Shuujinkei: Shuukaihou] - “Final Formation: Mass Liberation

Senesati pours his reiatsu into the ground that forms a linear shockwave which moves quickly to dispatch all foes in its path. The reiatsu is released in shards, that burst underneath his opponents', shredding and bestowing them with multiple lacerations to any part of the body it touches. This attack is a wide cone that also reaches into the air. The range of Mass Liberation caps at 30 meters and costs Senesati 15% reiatsu.

Note: At 100% power in Bankai, Senesati will inherent the option to control the direction of this attack for two rounds before it dissipates.

Third times the charm?

Note(s)
-Removed strength multiplier
-Added attack "Zansatsu"

[Yakunan]
Calamity

Arano’s own actions and the appearance of his eyes have led to him believing himself to be a monster of sorts. Yakunan supports this ideology in both its purpose and appearance. When activated, the squelching of flesh occurs as the tiger-stripe scars on his arms disappear amidst bloodied bone, almost completely coating his arms in pieces of thorn-like bones. The entire process of activating Yakunan is extremely painful to undergo, often leaving him out of breath. Once activated, its cost immediately takes toll, as his reiatsu tried to stop the bleeding caused by Yakunan’s activation. Having it active on one arm requires Arano pay 3% of his reiatsu per turn in order to keep the blood loss under control, while using both arms amounts to 6% of his reiatsu. When active, the bone’s density is altered through its saturation in reishi, becoming akin to that of a zanpakutou.

[Zansatsu]
Massacre

By paying a fee, Arano may extract his own bones, using Yakunan to replace them. For every foot of bone extracted, 250 reiatsu must be paid with each extra foot accumulating the cost. Any amount under a foot costs 100 reiatsu. Once created, it may be formed into a singular shape a single time, before being extracted. This shape is limited to crude forms, and as they are not directly tied to Arano’s own reiatsu once extracted their durability is only similar to that of steel and therefore easily bested by most reiatsu-based attacks. The maximum amount of feet per extracted bone is 10, though this limit increases by 2 for every 4000 harmony he has, capping at 20 feet. By paying an extra 500 reiatsu, Arano may forcefully launch the bone as a projectile weapon.

Shikai:

For 5% reiatsu per strike, the surface of Onslaught resonates with force, splintering ordinary steel on contact and damaging any weapon it touches. Repeated strikes of Onslaught against a Zanpakuto (Sealed or Shi Kai) can cause lasting injury to the weapon, eventually shattering it. If Tsubaki expends reiatsu on The Inexorable that cumulatively exceeds the foe's Zanjutsu stat, the weapon is broken. However, this attack has no effect on a released Ban Kai.

Ban Kai:

Ability: Fury - The release of Abandon against a foe is nothing less than a death sentence. Each round the Ban Kai is active Tsubaki's strikes become 5% more powerful, capping out at 40%. However, the nature of Abandon demands sacrifice, and while her offense grows with each passing moment, her defense weakens. Any attacks landed against Tsubaki once Ban Kai is released become 5% stronger per round, capping out at 45%

Attack: The Ravenous - Nearly identical to The Inexorable, Tsubaki's attacks are able to sunder defenses and strike at that which would have remained safe otherwise. The Ravenous requires 5% of Tsubaki's reiatsu to utilize per round, and should the amount of reiatsu cumulatively expended on The Ravenous exceed the foe's Zanjutsu stat the weapon can be broken by Abandon's strike.

Character: Hitoshi Saar

Release Level: First Stage - Ten no Shushou

Form: There are little visible changes to Saar when his powers are active. His eyes turn to complete white and the pupils vanish from them.

Abilities:

[Ability 1] Ten no Kansei – At activation Saar creates a sphere of reiatsu around him, thus allowing him see in a 360 degree vision, without actually having to look. The sphere has a radius of 20 meters.

[Ability 2] Ten no Sugizou - Saar can create clones of himself within the sphere. The clones are able to move anywhere within the sphere. They have no paranormal abilities, but cannot be distinguished from the real Saar. The clones are only visible to anyone within the field. They will disperse without exploding, if they attack anyone. It costs 2% of Saar’s reiatsu to create a clone, and Saar may have 2 clones for each 1000 Harmony to a max of 10.

[Ability 3] Ten no Sugizou Bakuha - Saar is able to detonate a clone with a mental command; this will function exactly like the Black Tide kidou spell. The clones will also explode if they are attacked. It costs 200 Reiatsu to detonate a clone; the damage of the explosion is dependent on the amount reiatsu spent to create and explode the clone.

Shikai for Maruyama Ilsa

Name: Hinometori (‘sunlight bird’)

Release Command: Terasu (‘shine/illuminate’); Terasu, Hinometori!

Manifestation: Hinometori takes the form of a large bird made entirely of crystal. Depending on his mood, Hinometori can be absolutely transparent with no shine at all, sparkle a bit, throw off rainbows as if his feathers were prisms, or shine with blinding light. He is about the size of a condor and his features are similar to those of the fenghuang (Chinese phoenix). Hinometori is fond of Ilsa, referring to her as ‘child’ or ‘Ilsa-chan’. Shadows and darkness, whether physical shadows or the darkness of mysteries, annoy Hinometori. He considers it his mission in life to illuminate the darkness in the world and reveal its truths.

Released Form: The katana begins to glow with a golden light, similar to sunlight. It stretches as the glow intensifies to a blinding level. The transformation only takes a few seconds; once it’s done, the light goes out. The sword has become a glaive made entirely of crystal. Hinometori is six and a half feet long in this form. A phoenix-like bird in flight is etched within the blade. The shaft is a twelve-sided column.

Ability #1: Washi no Ome (Eyes of the Eagle) – Washi no Ome costs 200 reiatsu per minute. Ilsa must stand still and look up at the sky to activate this ability. Upon doing so, a glowing bird-like construct will rise from her body and fly into the air, hovering high above her. Ilsa can see through the eyes of the bird for up to a mile, clearly enough to read small print. She can rotate her point of view, but cannot move it. Damage to the bird construct ends Washi no Ome, but does not damage Ilsa.

Ability #2: Tenrai Chikaku (Divine Perception) – Tenrai Chikaku heightens Ilsa’s perceptions. While this ability is active, Ilsa’s eyes glow with the same light as Hinometori does during its release. She can see in the dark as if it were daylight, shoot into battle with greater accuracy, and perceive incoming attacks much faster. Ilsa can maintain Tenrai Chikaku for fifteen seconds, plus another fifteen per thousand reiatsu. (Approx. one average-length round, plus one more every thousand reiatsu). This ability costs 150 reiatsu per round.
