Nintendo, Sony or XBox?

I cite the reason for this thread as: "Some men just want to watch the world burn."

Personally, I've never had an XBox so I can't vouch for it, I've been Nintendo and Playstation for as long as my allowance can remember.

Loved my NES and Gameboy as a kid, even though we weren't able to get very many games. I think I only ever played 5 games on Gameboy: Tetris, Kid Icarus, Mortal Kombat 2, Metroid 2, and Link's Awakening. The last two are the ones I played most (and both had pretty cool ending music).

However, I'd have to say I love Playstation more. PS1 was the first console that was truly mine (NES had been 'borrowed' from my aunt... for a few years), and the first game I played on it is still among my favorite games ever: Final Fantasy VII. PS2 was the first console I bought with my own money, and I still think it was the best console that's existed, yet.

The PS3? Pretty much became my entertainment hub, loaded with music, anime, movies, and games. Hard to believe this thing is 5 years old already!

Much as Nintendo has a lot of retro appeal, I gotta say that the FF series, masterpieces like Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, and blockbuster action games like the Uncharted series really tip the scales for me.

PS2 hands down was/is the best console IMO. If sony would have expanded the online on that system, I am may have never have gotten a 360. Also I recently played PS3 and I noticed framerate drops (I am a fighter so inputs are pretty important). Needless to say I am not interested in getting a PS3...

Erego, Dippy owes me an Xbox. Or not, I'm just kidding. Unless I'm not.

Also, for some reason now I can't change my personal Title despite paying for it in the market.

Remind me to not chance looking at them, lest my Xbox explodes too. What do you guys think of this Metro-UI-ish, Windows-phone-7 dashboard style?

I've been using the Zune software for years and that's where the Windows Phone 7 style originated, so it's fine with me.

i think of myself as a bit of an all rounder
granted i am either on pc or 360 than ps2 or wii
but thats more to do with the fact they have more rpg exclusives,
that and also i can't afford more than 1 console per generation normally
