Hiren: Approved. But here's some proofreading for you:

Haikyo - Castle Ruins
Tier
: S

Description:

In their dormant state, Haikyo takes the form of two silver bracelets around each of Lucia’s wrists. They are simple in appearance, but seem to always be impeccable polished. When brought near each other, they synchronize and emit a dull hum.

When tapped against each other, they expand into their full form. They extend into a set of silver gauntlets that cover her arms and wrists. On the back of each gauntlet is half the image of the emblem of House Metzer-Frey. When brought up to one another, they complete the full insignia. Lavender reiatsu surrounds each one, flickering wildly as if covering them in flames. The metal of the gauntlets rivals the durability of zanpaktou.

Choui - Close Siege

By fueling her reiatsu into the weaponry, they emit immense torrents of reiatsu that radiate up each of her arms. By paying 1,500 reiatsu, a single gauntlet will propel her forward rapidly up to 15 m in a line, in any direction. The speed she moves is near instantaneous with speed and control relative to her hakuda stat. While moving, her body is engulfed in the lavender reiatsu, allowing her to blow through mundane objects in her path with ease. If she manages to strike a target in direction, the force of the physical attack is amplified by the reiatsu cost paid in. After completion, the gauntlet loses its stored reiatsu. She can perform this maneuver up to twice a turn, one for each gauntlet, repaying the cost each time.

Acquisition:

After the attempted assassination attempt on the life of a third generation Ashanti heiress, the newly promoted Captain of the Fourth was called in to save the wounded heir’s life. Partly due to the successful surgery, and partially due to her natural personality, Lucia quickly endeared herself to the High Noble House.

However, as Lucia delved deeper into the circumstances behind the assassinations, she uncovered that the assassins were contracted killers of her former House Metzer-Frey. After being called to the Metzer family estate by the Patriarch, Theophilus Metzer, the secrets of her birth were revealed to her. The Amalgamated Soul Project, was an undercover operation to create a Bankai capable soul from scratch. Contracted by House Metzer to create an abnormally powerful soul, capable of being controlled at will, Lucia Frey was born.

Haikyo were the weapons forged specifically for her use, attuned to her reiatsu specifically.

Bish: Approved with changes:

Item Ability: This jacket, created by a paranormal research unit within the US military, is made from reishi-sympathetic hide from an unknown organism. Each time that the user does not use all available reishi from the Shuuhaku pool while in combat, the excess reishi is stored within the jacket. The stored amount cannot exceed 300 reiatsu.

After the jacket stores 300 reiatsu, when physically attacked by an enemy, the user can force the stored reishi to the surface of the jacket in order to form a barrier. Upon impact, the attacker will be blown backward from the point of contact. If the jacket is damaged, it will repair itself over the course of a week through the ambient reishi of the environment and a small portion of Tama's own reiatsu.

Also keep in mind that 'not being usable for a week' might be tricky if you're writing two fighting collabs simultaneously. Make sure that plot-wise, you have the battles lined up in an appropriate timeline.

Item Name: A mother's love.
Tier: [D]

Item Description: The item at rest is a small dream catcher pendant with a silver chain, often worn as a necklace or on the hip. Nothing is particularly special about it besides the fact that the thread that makes up the net in the center, glows bright gold when the Hikaru is in a high emotional state.

Item Ability~ The power of a protective mother is powerful, and for 300 reiatsu per turn can manifest itself as physical force.
For 300 reiatsu per turn the dream catcher will manifest itself as a large round shield roughly 3/4's of the size of a long bow that moves on its own volition around Hikaru in a 3m radius from his body. The shield can protect against physical attacks equal to or below Hikaru's Zanjutsu stat, and reshi based attacks/constructs worth up to a cost equal to 300.

Acquisition: The dream catcher belonged to Hikaru's mother and she wore it daily in the time before her life was violently ended by a fire hollow's attack on outer Rukon. In response to the tragedy and the work of a mysterious man in a shinigami garb, a small bit of her spiritual energy was sealed away in the trinket she held so dear to her heart. Now through a strange series of events involving pudding, (See Rukongai Pudding Delivery [ http://www.mangaden.net/forum/showt...th-Week-305-Kai-Arc-Rukongai-Pudding-Delivery ]) the item has come back into Hikaru's possession.

For 300 reiatsu per turn the dream catcher will grow a metal hilt and handle, of a katana, with a blade made of bright gold energy that shimmers brightly; or a small circular shield made of golden reiatsu around the dream catcher center, in the shape of a snowflake.

The dream catcher constructs are equivalent to a zanpakutou's durability, however they fizzle out after five turns and require a one turn cool down before they can be activated.

RESUBMIT. This thing lacks an acquisition, and that is a requirement for all items without exception. Not every random item in the Soul Society has powers, so the ones that do need a reason for it. An acquisition would look something like this:

Acquisition: Tama's father had this item whipped up and sewn into the threads of his old leather jacket shortly before his death. It was meant to be a present to celebrate the Native's progress with the Loose Ends technique years ago. Tama was never made aware of its additional properties until recently, when he resumed his Quincy training.

As a prior warning, just remember that the sample I gave you is for a Quincy. Hikaru's item acquisition could vary drastically from this, as he's in Soul Society and not Earth. Bottom line, give me that and then we can work on the actual abilities.

Rank: S

Name: Jormungand and Fenrir: 'Godhand'

Form: The weapons take the form of stout, fingerless oiled leather gloves with 'brass knuckles' fashioned of refined and reinforced titanium. On the back of each is a three chamber mechanism, constructed of precious fabricated metals from zanpakutou, that holds individual rounds. Underneath is a pressure lever that causes one of the shells to discharge upon impact. On the side of the lever is a bar mechanism that Kite can switch to act as a 'safety' for the weapon.

Effect: While the output of each shot is immense, at 3,000 reiatsu, the range of the discharge is extremely low, maxing at one meter regardless of the ammunition modification loaded. These 'bullets' are designed to discharge a moment after impact, and are in a scattershot configuration to inflict maximum damage after kite's raw strength has impacted whatever defenses are in the way.

Special Note: All ammunition used in the "God Hand" device must be configured Death Dealer shells, with the requisite cost.

Acquistion: A fabrication of the notorious Dr. "Dark" of Orpheus for his most interesting(latest) test subject. Classified intelligence reports can be accessed @ 306: RE: New Field Agent.

Rank: A

Name: Death Dealer Shell

Form: The Death Dealer is a custom ammo shell designed for his unique 'shotgun' knuckledusters. It is an unusually large chamber which in reality is a hyper-capacitor for spiritual pressure, and has a modular head binding. This head binding allows for different styles of ammunition to be joined to the capacitor, but requires modification (and thus great expense). As such, it is only loadable into the custom fabricated chambers of the 'Godhand' device.

Effect: A base shell used to load Jormungand and Fenrir, with an output of 500. The head is designed to be modified by special ammunition properties. The only shell used by the weapon, it fires a dispersed round with a range of one meter.

Cost: 25,000₢ + the cost of any modifying ammunition. (a clip(3) of Lawbringer modded Death Dealers would cost 37,500₢)

Acquisition: The second part of Orpheus' R & D work on Kite and improving his destructive capabilities.

Miya's Mask
Tier: D

Appearance:
Miya's hollow gives form to her mask with a base of vines against her skin. From there, keeled scales give her the appearance of a humanoid snake. Rose thorns ridge her lips as teeth, from her mask a single vine extends downwards and wraps around her neck.

Ability:
Passively, donning her Vizard mask allows Miya to speak through the voices of her joint hollow-zanpakutou spirit Kurobara.

At the cost of 100 reiatsu, the mask blooms several violet flowers that spray pollen. This pollen blocks out sight within 5 meters of Miya, but it does not block any other senses.

Aquisition:
Pit training

Van, you are APPROVED. The only thing you were missing last time was an acquisition, so you're good to go on these. I can only imagine how weird the gloves would look, but whatever floats your boat.

Thana, I can get behind a 100 rei Break of Dusk. You are also
APPROVED. Yay for green stamps all around!

Item Ability: The power of a protective mother is powerful, and can manifest itself as physical force by mixing with Hikaru's own inner power. For 300 reiatsu, the dream catcher will manifest itself as a shield roughly the size of a large buckler directly in front of Hikaru's forearm. The shield can protect against physical and reiatsu-based attacks either for two turns or until 300 reiatsu is blocked. Once broken, this item has a one-round cooldown before it can be used again.

Alrighty, now we can get down to the nitty gritty. There are some things you should take into account when it comes to items. For example; items cannot grow in strength and they can only be so strong depending on their tier. By tying the blockable amount to your zanjutsu, you not only have a shield that can block of its own accord but it can also get exponentially stronger... all for an incredibly small cost. I'm not ok with this.

Instead, you can take this as

Item Name: Gensō Gaikan [ Illusionary Appearance ]
Item Tier: C
Item Appearance: Gensō Gaikan takes the form of a fox mask with oriental influences in its carving and colouring. The mask covers Ren's face completely, and is reminiscent of the mask Ren wore when she first joined the Mystics. The mask.

Item Ability: Gensō Gaikan allows Ren to maintain the same sense of security she once felt under the graces of Koutaizumai. For 250 reiatsu, Ren can change her entire appearance. This includes her hair, figure, eyes and any unique scars or other noticeable traits on her body. Gensō Gaikan even changes her voice for an additional 50 reiatsu, though it is not flawless and can be seen as fake if someone has heard the voice before. To use this item, she needs to wear the mask throughout the entire use. Gensō Gaikan does not change her reiatsu signature, and can not be used on another being. When she releases her zanpakutou, Gensō Gaikan takes the form of a ribbon that threads itself into her hair. She cannot go invisible, or take a form that is smaller than her normal form.

Item Acquisition: Ren obtained Gensō Gaikan during her time of transferring to the Fourth, as well as gradually over her time as a Mystic. By learning how to manipulate the illusionary graces of Koutaizumai, she learned how to shift the reiatsu around her to give the appearance that she is changing form without the use of Koutaizumai and instead, she can use it with her mask in the same way she could with Koutaizumai.

Well, I was originally gonna wait for Thana's item but it's getting a bit close to the staff deadline and I'm getting trigger happy. Let me just go ahead and do the thing.

APPROVED w/changes:

Item Name: Gensō Gaikan [ Illusionary Appearance ]
Item Tier: C
Item Appearance: Gensō Gaikan takes the form of a fox mask with oriental influences in its carving and colouring. The mask covers Ren's face completely, and is reminiscent of the mask Ren wore when she first joined the Mystics. The mask.

Item Ability: Gensō Gaikan allows Ren to maintain the same sense of security she once felt under the graces of Koutaizumai, though at quite a reduced level of efficiency due to the shattering of the connection with the spirits. She may change her hair, figure, eyes, any unique scars or other noticeable traits including her voice, but she may not transform into inanimate objects as Koutaizumai allowed and her appearance must remain humanoid. While these changes can be maintained without much effort outside of combat, the heat of battle severely interferes with the mask's abilities. During combat, she may only maintain the form of Ren the Guardian (her muscle-bound, masked male persona). To use this item, she needs to wear the mask throughout the entire use. Gensō Gaikan does not change her reiatsu signature, and can not be used on another being. Due to the nature of Ren's release, Gensō Gaikan takes the form of a ribbon that threads itself into her hair when Kyuketsuki is activated.

Item Acquisition: Ren obtained Gensō Gaikan during her time of transferring to the Fourth, as well as gradually over her time as a Mystic. By having Koutaizumai embedded into her kitsune mask, which possessed a significant amount of latent reiatsu due to its connection to Ren's release, she was able to use the mask as a locus of power in order to reclaim some of her former abilities as a Mystic following the banishment of Kosui Shinkouteki.

notes for Gloam
Alright, so I had to change some things around a bit from what we discussed due to a few factors coming to light:

1) Koutaizumai was a B-Tier level item. What you're submitting is C-Tier, meaning that I can't just give you the complete level of freedom that Koutaizumai has/had. This means no outright stealth for you; instead, you get master of disguise outside of combat.
2) To counterbalance the relative nerfs, I removed the cost entirely because the intent of the item is basically to let Ren keep her identity secret. This version of the item does that effectively and still has a bit of the illusionary potential of the parent item.
3) I had to change the acquisition around because the power of Koutaizumai was a direct result of the shinigami's connection to the Spirits. Once that was shattered, the item itself would canonically be either rendered entirely ineffective or reduced in efficiency. The good news about this acquisition is that you now have collab potential with a Ninth Member to explain the embedding of Koutaizumai into her mask.
a) If only Ren knew someone who worked in the item-crafting section of the Ninth...
b) someone who was well acquainted with Mystic equipment and lore...
c) someone who personally trained Ren...
d) *coughSatorucough*

Anywho! If you are unhappy with any of the changes or if you have reason to disagree with something I've said, let me know and we will work something out. :)

Harmonia [S-Tier Item]

Harmonia is a beautiful pale gold torc necklace with elegant golden laurel and silver feather frames around two gemstones. A small amethyst rests among the laurel leaves above and slightly off-center compared to the large ruby at the heart of the necklace; these are fragments of the City of Ladies, Adelaide's Inner World, harvested for the Kakoroku she was given by the Eighth Division for attaining her Initial Release. When Adelaide is in a stage of release, these gemstones give a faint glow, resonating with Lashiel's unbound form.

Harmonia was a tool used by the Kidoushuu to amplify and focus the raw energy of kidou, but was broken in combat while Adelaide was trying to recapture it for the person responsible for it's loss. She has been able to attune it to the fragments left of her Reminiscence and from the ashes of these two items has developed a rather interesting and unique new creation. At the cost of 500 additional reiatsu Adelaide can change the point of origin for a spell she casts to anywhere within five meters, allowing extreme flexibility in the manifestation of her spells. This cost can be ignored if, while attuning a spell to her weapon with Kenkyouka Adelaide chooses her weapon's point of impact as the point of origin of the spell.

Acquisition: Two Roads Diverged in the Woods, Adelaide v. Ilsa, His Eye was on the Sparrow, An Invitation to Endless Wonder, Boundless as the Sky, Resplendent Daughter, The Eight-Span Crow, Coda (in progress)

Harmonia - Resubmit

Alright katie, I remember having a chat about this item awhile back, but I don't remember much of what was discussed. As a result, I'm looking at this with fresh eyes. The core concept of the item (origin point changing) is solid, hence why I'm not denying it, but we're gonna have to change around some mechanics.

But before we do that, I'd appreciate it if you could submit it in the proper format:

Item Name
Item Tier
Item Appearance
Item Ability
Acquisition

Anywho! On to the item itself.

1) Kenkyouka and this item are not compatible in any form. That is a mandatory clause that I need to see in the item without any alterations. Why? Because if I allow that, you would be able to prepare a Kenkyouka spell and then release the stored spell from another point within 5 meters without any form of warning, incantation, or counterplay whatsoever. On top of that, you would be able to cast another normal spell to essentially make unblockable double-casts. As you can imagine, this is a problem.
2) The item will only change the point of origin, meaning that self-casts like Threshold or Falcon Punch could not be transferred to alternate targets. This also means that spells without a point of origin (for example, bindings like Hinome, which just kinda appears on the target rather than having to be placed like a barrier) would be incompatible with this item.
3) I might actually get fired from staff if I approved an S-Tier effect like this for a paltry 500 rei. This will cost you around 1500 rei per use and it can only be used once per turn.

With all of that being said, go ahead and make the appropriate changes so that we can get this bad girl up and running!

Well, we both know what's going to go down. But here.

Harmonia - As per our discussion, this iteration of the item is DENIED. S-Tier items are supposed to be absolute game changers, and melee-casting is not a game changing ability. Now that I think about it, I can't allow an S-Tier from the Kidoushuu to work specifically with an Eighth Division tech. Please let me know if you'd like to try for the point of origin thing.

I'd like to briefly interject for a moment. I feel the need to clarify something about S-tier Items: the purpose of an S-tier item is not to create an "absolute game changer."

Let me quote the Item Guide here:

S-Tier Items are the pinnacle of all Unique Items. Given only to players with 40,000 or more Reiatsu, they are dangerous artefacts of power. One-of-a-kind in nature, an S-Tier Item typically represents some aspect of the character wielding it - defining their personality on a base level. An S-Tier item occupies your primary Unique Item Slot, and approving one requires the consent of both Item Staff, and a GM.

In addition, attaining an S-Tier Item is such a tremendous feat that it requires physical evidence of its acquisition. As such, those who have their S-Tier Item approved must write a chapter of at least 1000 Words, or a collab of at least 2000 Words.

S-Tiers are meant to be linked more intrinsically with the character. What Katie presented here -- acquisition of the rare parts which she synthesized into something personal to her -- fulfills the core ideal of an S-tier item. The ability itself is also in keeping with other S-tiers: it is a relatively small change to accepted reality that has potential for great effectiveness in its wielders' hands.

That does not mean that Harmonia is approvable in its current form. There needs to be clarification on cost, range, duration, effectiveness and such. Remember, it's an item that must be activated; it is not a constant-effect feat. The mechanics are absent and need to be added before a proper review can be done.

The theme and spirit of the item, though, are on point.

Edit: And no, you won't get fired for approving an S-tier item, because you can't approve an S-tier item without a GM's consent.

[ Draugr AUSG ]

In the aftermath of the attack on Earth, the Initiative sought to better equip its more prominent members. Mouko, for her valor in the field, was rewarded with a custom-make Revenant AUG dubbed the "Draugr".

Modified from existing German firearms with stainless steel, and retro-fitted with wooden furniture, the "Armee-Universal-Sturmgewehr" is built in such a way that jamming is unthinkable. The dual firing modes were exchanged for a fixed-bolt, gas-operated action, making it a devastating, mid to long range, semi-automatic carbine.

Effect: An advanced weapon capable of firing Orpheus' spiritually imbued ammunition. Can deal 1000 Reiatsu worth of damage per turn. Effective range of fifteen to thirty meters. A small capacitor in the chamber allows Mouko to pay an additional 500 reiatsu per round, maxing at 1000 reiatsu. At any point after storing an amount of reiatsu, she may then augment a shot from the Draugr by the amount stored, overcharging the shot and causing it to detonate on impact, dealing damage over a 1m radius. Any elemental properties of the round are maintained over the area of effect.

If you didn't expect me to upgrade it when I hit B-tier level, then you're silly. c: Changes are bolded.

Item Name: Gensō Gaikan [ Illusionary Appearance ]
Item Tier: B

Item Ability: Gensō Gaikan allows Ren to maintain the same sense of security she once felt under the graces of Koutaizumai, though at quite a reduced level of efficiency due to the shattering of the connection with the spirits. She may change her hair, figure, eyes, any unique scars or other noticeable traits including her voice, but she may not transform into inanimate objects as Koutaizumai allowed and her appearance must be of living things, such as an animal or another shinigami. While these changes can be maintained without much effort outside of combat, the heat of battle does weaken Ren's ability to focus on changing her appearance. It takes an entire turn to change her appearance. She is capable of invisibility, though doing so severely weakens her combat potential, as she is unable to attack or use reiatsu in any way, or else the mask's illusion will shatter.

By having Koutaizumai embedded into her mask, which possessed a significant amount of latent reiatsu due to its connection to Ren's release, she was able to use the mask as a focus of power in order to reclaim some of her former abilities as a Mystic following the banishment of Kosui Shinkouteki.
