Yeah, though it is cool to see that Shinji, Rose, and Kensei are all captains again. It makes you wonder if all the Vizards are back in SS and have their old positions back.
I'm also wondering if Hisagi will be VC to Kensei.....
Afro/Imoyama must have gotten tired of Ichigo not learning his real name. Also, Akon verified as 3rd seat of 12th. And Witch-Doc Mayuri design is more epic in color.
Given how Bleach's popularity has been dropping, he's doing exactly what he needs to do and writing cliff-hangers and mystery to keep current readers, draw back old ones and attract new people. I think he might actually have something interesting in store.
If they have a partial hollow mask on all the time, that suggests to me that they're closer to arrancar than vizards. So, perhaps they have quincy, hollow and shinigami powers, but no inner hollow, and I'll go out on a limb and guess they also have no inner zanpakutou spirit. One living person, one body, one mind, lots of powers. Now we wait and see if I'm right
They could be Hollows that have gained Quincy powers. Who knows.
This guy Kubo loves stretching everything out though. Every single chapter since the beginning of this arc is going to be worth one episode in the anime. Goodness gracious...
This arc is interesting though. It should encompass more than who we've seen so far though; all the same good guys. I hope we see new good guys and not just setting up one bad guy for every good guy and letting it play out that way.
This should involve the entire known and unknown universe of Bleach.
If you're going to make the title of the arc that epic, Kubo, you better ACTUALLY MAKE IT EPIC!
If there's a million characters on both sides like the FKT/HM fights, then we'll have to wait and wait for everyone to have their turn before anything actually happens.
