Hiren and Gargles Feat Review Time ...
Both of us were pretty busy with the Holiday Season fast approaching, sorry if this seems delayed to some of you.
Special Note: We will (on occasion) check up on feats that are approved with changes to see that you have made the changes we specify. We will let you know if we feel your changes do not address the items we requested.
Second Special Note: Please feel free to resubmit feats/techs that are
Approved with Changes if you feel we have limited it too much or otherwise nerfed you. Please add a sentence explaining the reason for resubmission. If we feel we can't address what you've asked for, we will explain that and you can proceed with the Approved as Changes version or submit a new feat entirely.
On with the feats!
Weapons Permit -
Approved. Now go forth with dual-wielded .50 Caliber Sniper Rifles, and sin no more...
Invariable -
Approved with Changes. We've reworded this sentence to get rid of some weirdness.
Applying momentum to force and combining the result to his own brute strength, Arano can split the damage he deals to barriers and other such obstructions from 10% of his combat stat to 10% of his agility stat.
And we've added a sentence as well, resulting in this:
Applying momentum to force and combining the result to his own brute strength, Arano can choose whether to use 10% of his Agility stat or his Combat stat to deal damage to barriers and other such obstructions. If the stat chosen is agility, other barrier-breaking feats or items apply to agility as well.
Cero Veritas -
Approved, continue your subterfuge as you will, sah.
Spatial Step -
Approved with Changes. Changes are:
- Add a cost, 3%
- Make it specific that only one ally (or yourself) can go through each portal. Two or more people are not a single use of a portal.
Unsteady Blades -
Approved with Changes Changes are:
- Remove this clause: "and can also delay the time when the blade exits the portals"
- Add a 1% cost for doing this splitting simultaneous attack.
Organized Chaos -
Approved with Changes
- Make the Tech have the same range as your TA ability, 30 meter radius from Ciro. Otherwise, this is cool. I look forward to Labryinth-Kai!
Mastered Grasp -
Approved with Changes. Hiren spent a moment rewording and reformatting this for clarity and for the Trained Feat format, and we upped their level reqs (slightly).
[ Shouaku Jukutatsu ] - "Mastered Grasp"
Through his studies into the lines of power embedded in kidou's incantations and rituals, Sayis has discovered a means to realign one of his more oft-used spells: Shouaku. Rather than limiting the spell by physical ability, its potency is now decided by the user's kidou mastery.
By altering the spell, the natural range of Shouaku shortens to one quarter (about 5 yards) and the formerly invisible arm is bathed in the glow of the user's reiatsu.
Kouseido Shouaku and Kyouka Shouaku cannot be used at the same time.
Level One: Kyouka Shouaku
With Kyouka Shouaku, the user can lift a weight equal to 15% of their kidou stat (in pounds). Even amplified, the bakudou caps out at 3,000 pounds at 20,000 Kidou.
Requirement: 3,000 Kidou
Level Two: Kouseido Shouaku
With Kouseido Shouaku, the user can give the kidou a far greater degree of precision, unbinding it from their own arm. While this effect is active, the user can wield the kidou limb as precisely as, or slightly more than, their own arm. Where applicable, the user's skills in zanjutsu or hakuda direct the arm.
Requirement: 4,000 Kidou
Practitioners: Sayis Inuzuri (swaswj)
Exceed -
Revise and resubmit. This sounds like "Break" but even better for less and with the implication of needing 3x your Zan stat to block any one of the attacks. This is too much. Please address these issues and we'll try to pound this out for you.
Force of Motion - Advent Human plotting, that's what happening with this thread.
Approved with Changes, here are the changes.
- Get rid of the "must stay in motion" clause for maintaining Shinpo. This sounds like a recipe for regular arbitration.
- Both Shinpo and Shuuren go up to 9%, not 12%. (Growth rate remains 3%)
- Up the requirements of the final tech to 5k for both agility and combat
