Effect: There are times that a shinigami finds himself without his weapon, even for a master of the martial arts there are times when only a sword will do. This ability allows the shinigami to transfer a portion of his power into any object he can hold fortifying and sharpening it into a facsimile of their missing weapon. A rod of rubar, an errant tree branch, a brick, even a long blade of grass becomes hardened and sharp as a blade.
The cost of this is 500 rei and only is effective for as long as the wielder holds the object. This does not convey any powers the user’s actual zanpakutou has but becomes more of a physical substitute able to stand against other real zanpakutous and can effectively convey zanjutsu techniques.
Yama no Michi – Denied Forever Enduring –
You can’t have this kept on permanently, because constant wound reduction is more a feat by itself as opposed to being part of a feat. I can see something like reducing the damage of the attack by a wound level X times, but not constant. Also get rid of the % damage reduction. It’s unnecessary.
Forever Still –
8% is a bit of a steep cost for essentially ‘I can’t be moved from this spot’. Lower the cost to something like 5% really.
Forever Unyielding –
Nope, this cannot be permanent and have its cost equal HALF of the oncoming attack. I can see a single instance of some relatively powerful defense against an oncoming attack, but not one that’s constantly on and has no set cost or restrictions.
A Weapon in My Hand – Approved w/Changes
Keep a cap of 1 new blade per every 5,000 Zanjutsu you have to a max of 5. Remember that multiple weapons rules kick in as usual. Also, if someone say blasts it with 510 rei energy attack, or has like over 50K in a physical strike, they can just break through the fake blade. Also, the size of the blade’s going to have to scale with the thing you choose to sharpen. So if you do decide to use a blade of grass, it’ll be like the world’s smallest zan. The max size of something that you can sharpen is two meters in length.
[ Tsunagime Karinoyo ] “A Link to this Transient World”
Whispers of the Ukiyo no Kohon’s creation are shrouded in a thick layer of darkness as the only living person in possession of said knowledge refuses to let it be known to anyone as long as the creation of the Asauchi rests on her shoulders.
Those that have tasted what the book is capable of can only imagine what it must have been like to create the first Asauchi as that is what the Ukiyo no Kohon really is. Unlike its younger brethren, the book has no, one soul. It is a vast and expansive spiritual world, called the Ukiyo no Riku, in which the souls of newly born, yet to be claimed and forgotten zanpakutou souls wander around.
Having gotten a better understanding of the souls wandering the Ukiyo no Riku, Nana has learned how to harness the forgotten and sometimes unclaimed power of these very zanpakutou souls.
By paying 4% of her base reiatsu, Nana can draw a spirit-zanpakutou from the Ukiyo no Riku and use it as efficiently as any other blade. These weapons differ each time, adding to the unique properties of each individual soul and are about as durable as a regular, sealed zanpakutou.
Notes
Though I figure it may need some tweaking, this is probably the easiest and fastest way to get some legit comments and critique on it.
It's replacing my current unique feat, Shinsekinenshou.
Not sure how to word it but keep the weapon `reasonable` so no truck swords.
If the created sword takes damage I.e blocking an attack without a tech or meleeing a big attack from a person will reduce the durability ala 10% rule. If repeated damage is taken so the durability is surpassed it is broken.
Name Frei Wanderung (自由歩行 (フリーウォーキング), Furei Uounderingu; German for “Free-Walking”)
Type
Trained
Description
Allows the user to fire arrows from the point of their finger without manifesting their bow. These arrows can be created and fired almost instantly, making it extremely difficult for opponents to evade them. Upon first learning Frei Wanderung, the proficiency of all arrows fired equates to 50% of the user’s Kyuuzu. Upon reaching 10,000 Kyuuzu, this increases to 75% and reaches full proficiency at 15,000 Kyuuzu; at this level of mastery, arrows fired using Frei Wanderung are no longer restricted to standard arrows.
Training: In order to learn Frei Wanderung, it is necessary to find a practitioner. Training involves mastering the manifestation of arrows as well as the intensely-precise displacement of reishi behind them as a method of propulsion. Mastery primarily involves grasping its mechanics, which seem impossible at first, increasing the precision of those discharges while maintaining the accuracy and velocity of each shot.
I'm still not seeing the point of this feat at all. Sure you get to bypass the creation of your bow, but what does this afford you honestly? It's flashy yes, but it's also currently laden with a bunch of exploits hidden in the flavor text. Specifically you already have it at a level that is 'difficult to dodge'. Secondly, that makes no sense with the Kyuuzu proficiency which already determines your aiming of arrows fired? What is the point of the Kyuuzu requirements?
I'm definatly not for instant hit arrows, considering Quincy arrows already are REALLY POTENT when they hit. Honestly, for this to be approvable you'd need to remove the difficulty to dodge bit. However, at that point, what makes it any more useful than just creating your bow? Sure you get an 'element of surprise' but since when have Quincies been about sneak attacks? I'm going to have to deny this partially on concept because it's either going to be ridiculously powerful or almost useless. Kish's arrow creation from any point, ask anyone who has written with or against it, was extremly strong. The only thing that kind of held it back was old Shuuhaku requirements which made Quincy arrows not as potent as they can be now.
An adept user of this technique can extend the length of their zanpakutou with their spiritual energy by 10m at the cost of 10% of their reiatsu. The extra extension of the blade is capable of parrying a few blows from a zanpakutou in its initial release, though after a strike from a fully released zanpakutou, it will shatter.
For every 2000 reiatsu, a practitioner can extend the length of their blade by an extra five meters, capping at 25.
Masters can change the shape of this energy to work like a whip by adding an extra 520 rei to the original cost.
Training: Anyone who wishes to learn Spirit Blade must first find a Master of the technique, or submit a training collab on solidifying reiatsu around their blade. (GM approval is required for this manner of learning the technique). Mastery is achieved at 13,000 reiatsu.
By refining their ability to utilize Reiatsu Noukan, shinigami with this skill can detect and identify specific reiatsu signatures and ambient reiatsu (as well as disruptions in ambient reiatsu) with exceptional accuracy and precision. Shinigami who are “sensors” often perceive reiatsu auditorily or visually and can do so within half their Reiatsu Noukan range. Upon mastery, a shinigami’s ability to use this extends to two thirds of their Rei Noukan range.
Training: To learn this ability, one needs to train under a master. Extensive meditation and practice is necessary to gain this skill and learning it takes time and patience. To master thisone needs at least A level Rei Noukan.
Those who have learned the Animagus technique are no stranger to synchronizing their own soul to that of their chosen animal's nature. As time goes on and the practitioner becomes more and more attuned to their spirit animal, a select few notice that their mastery of the Animagus form progresses into a power that is one step above the technique's normal limits. Such practitioners can channel an physical aspect of their animal while in normal form. This is achieved by keeping their physical form in a state of flux between animal and shinigami.
Once acquired, Gensho Zure replaces Animagus entirely. If the user wants to change their Animagus form, they must reacquire this technique. For 4% of their reiatsu, the practitioner gains a single physical alteration to their body based on their spirit animal. The claws of a wolverine, the wings of an eagle, the gills of a fish... all are feasible for those who discover this power. Changes made in this form are primarily good for utility rather than enhancements, as no manner of alteration can cause the user to surpass their overall physical limitations. While growing the wings of a bird would increase them proportionally to your body, this does nothing to decrease your body's density and would therefore limit your capacity for exceptionally high or fast flying.
While the possibilities may seem endless, practitioners must be aware of the power's limitations should they choose to explore it. Only one physical alteration can be had at a time. Any physical appendages created by this technique are subject to pain and injury, just like a normal body part. The alterations are worth the 4% used to grow them. Should their opponent destroy the construct, the flexibility of the practitioner's reiatsu is harshly disrupted and they are unable to channel another aspect or even initiate their normal transformation for three turns.
Training: Learning Gensho Zure requires becoming so comfortable with shifting from human to beast that it becomes absolutely natural. The user then learns the technique when they notice that they can briefly halt the transformation as it is happening. Then, by either their own dedication or the guidance of a mentor, they learn how to decide what part of their change begins first. The final step requires that they learn how to keep the transformation controlled for longer and longer periods of time.
Requirements: 8000 Reiatsu, twenty documented uses of Animagus

Let's talk math real quick: 1m is roughly 1 yd. That means 2m = the height of a slightly above-average adult male. 25m is the length of two school buses, or a quarter of a football field.
Now, the costs and benefits of this feat are all over the place. It costs 10% reiatsu (a huge amount) for a shockingly flimsy result, with a cost of 520 reiatsu (comparatively small) to make it even more flimsy. The core idea, however, is solid, and bringing the math down to more manageable levels, you'll see the result below.
Approved as below:
Spirit Blade Revised
Spirit Blade:
A practitioner of this technique can extend the length of their zanpakutou with their spiritual energy at the cost of 500 reiatsu per round. The additional length is equal in strength to the zanpakuto itself, and is considered part of the weapon in every sense, including the usage of special attacks.
For every 750 Kidou, a practitioner can extend the length of their blade by 1 meter, capping at 6m at 4500 Kidou.
Training: In order to learn Spirit Blade, it is necessary to find a practitioner. Training involves first coating the weapon in reiatsu and then working to solidify and crystallize it. Once this is accomplished, the user must then practice using this reiatsu to increase the length of the weapon. This can take hours or days to accomplish the first time.
Change notes: No whip, flat per-round cost, trimmed lengths. The base version at 750 reiatsu is 1m which is the length of your average katana. So if you use this on a katana, suddenly it's a nodachi. Add another meter and you've got Masamune. It caps out at 6m which is about half the length of a schoolbus which is more than enough!
Training: To learn this ability, one needs to train under a master. Extensive meditation and practice is necessary to gain this skill and learning it takes time and patience. To master thisone needs at least A level Rei Noukan.
Again, some math. Reiatsu Noukan range is extremely large. At 5,000 Reiatsu it caps at 10km radius. That'd be 6.66km with the Sensor feat as written above. Do you know how much is within 6.66km?
Area of a circle is pi r-squared, which gives us 139 square km. Tokyo is estimated to have around 8800-9000 people per square km. Meaning this technique would let the user perceive the sights and sounds of 1.25 million people at roughly all times with no cost.
So! Let's try to bring this back down to manageable levels. I'm going to actually be referring back to a feat we used to have called True Perception. True Perception used a range of 1/1000 (yes, one thousandth) of the range of Reiatsu Noukan, and those are the kind of dimensions we're looking at here. However, because of the limited range, we're also going to make the benefits a little more distinct. It will be very effective up close, but only up close.

Sensor Revised
Sensor
Some shinigami are born gifted while others hone their senses through deep meditation and focused training.
Using this feat, a character can augment their senses with spiritual perception. This gives the character deeper insight into what is around, although this triggering of reiryoku may also draw the attention of spiritually aware beings.
A user of this technique can expect to see through some illusions, but be more vulnerable to others. Illusions without substance would be shown to be fake, but illusions with physical presence would not.
Sensor modifies the base tech "Reiatsu Noukan." It has a radius of one five-hundredth (2m per 1km) of Reiatsu Noukan's range.
Training: In order to learn Sensor, it is necessary to find a practitioner. Extensive meditation and practice is necessary to gain this skill. One training method involves blindfolding the user and having them navigate through a darkened series of obstacles, using only their other senses augmented by spiritual perception to guide them.

Requirements: 8000 Reiatsu, twenty documented uses of Animagus
The idea here is interesting but it's not very well-defined. You imply there are limits but basically leave the limits to the imagination of the reader. It's unclear whether the user retains the ability to use Animagus itself or sacrifices that for the combat applications. Is this just Animagus+, meaning there's no reason for an Animagus user not to learn it if they already used Animagus 20 times?
Resubmit: A feat like this would require Animagus to still be equipped, I think, but because of that, you should reconsider the effects. Make it more clear what the user can and can't do, but also steer it toward being worth taking up two feat slots for the privilege.
Trained
Those who have learned this feat can increase the overall strength of their melee attacks at the cost of their speed or increase the speed of their attacks at the cost of strength. Speed can be increased by 75% at the cost of normal attack damage being decreased by 75% and the damage can be increased by 75% at the cost that the speed of your regular attacks are majorly decreased. It cost 500 reiatsu for every 25% change (1500 total) and it must be paid each turn it is to be used. After the technique has been used the user must wait the exact number of turns spent while the technique was active, before it can be used again.
Training: In order to learn Muscle Focus, it is necessary to find a practitioner. Training involves first learning to properly focus the users reiatsu into their muscles. Because of the nature of this technique, It is possible to have intense muscle spasms and extreme pain in the beginning is a given so exercise before performing is absolutely necessary. They are to first start of manipulating only a little bit at a time and work their way up.
Requirements: 5000 Hakuda.
Practitioners: Dellius Carthans (Unholy)
Asobigokoro no yari - Playful Spear
Trained
Those who have learned this feat can learn the Asobigokoro no yari school of techniques. The practitioners learn to increase the strength of their normal attacks to the point where the force can harm opponents from far away.
Training: To be trained in Asobigokoro no yari, you must find someone who has mastered it and convince them to teach you. To be considered a master, a practitioner must have used all Yama no michi techniques at least once and have GM approval. Initial training in Asobigokoro no yari leads to proficiency in the style and one primary style technique. After reaching the skill level of an Adept, they can be taught the final technique of Asobigokoro no yari, synergizing all their previous knowledge and gaining the rank of Adept.
Requirements: 3000 Hakuda.
[Asobigokoro no yari: Seichō shi yari ] - “Growing Spear”
This technique allows the user to transfer their current melee strength across a distance and strike opponents as if they were right next to them. Furthermore, while the attack cannot pierce a hole through the opponent, it can go through them and hit anything behind them in a straight line if it has enough strength. It costs 400 of the practitioner’s reiatsu and it starts off at 5 meters. As the user becomes stronger, the strength of their blow is able to travel farther. It is 1 meter for every 1000 capping at 20 meters and the speed of the punch/kick is based on hakuda. Mundane objects are pierced through effortlessly however reiatsu based things are more resistance. Attacks cannot damage internal organs.
[Asobigokoro no yari: Hikinuka no yari ] - “Withdrawn Spear”
This technique allows the practitioner to store away the raw strength of their punch/kick and use it in one of two ways. The first is after a melee hit has been made a secondary hit comes after blowing them back 10 meters. The second is empower the damage of their melee attacks and allow them to block attacks they normally couldn’t. This only applies directly to direct contact attacks and the enhanced damage cannot be transferred by Seichō shi yari. The strength of the stored attack does not degrade, but the user can only store away one and the power must be used within 3 turns or the force is lost. It cost 4% to store away an attack.
Requirements: 6000 hakuda
[Asobigokoro no yari: Nijū yari] - “Double Spear” The final technique allows the user to unleash a devastating attack as well as set them up for further damaging moves. First the user strikes the opponent with the first technique then either zip themselves to the opponent or reel in the opponent to them and deliver a second blow. Aside from being damaging enough to break bones and damage organs, the attack leaves the opponent weakened for three turns. During those three turns any physical attack done to the opponent is increased by 5% of their maximum hakuda. This attack can forcibly bring themselves or their opponent through solid objects during the movement phase. The cost is 4000 reiatsu and it can be used once every 6000 Hakuda.
Requirements: 9000 hakuda.
These stat shifts are ridiculous, you're amping up your speed/hak by a ridiculous amount. The cost set-up is extremely cryptic and even after reading this few times, I'm still struggling to comprehend what you actually want. Stat shifts/combinations are pretty damn strong and usually are relegated to kais.
Playful Peni-- err Spear - Denied:
Denying this becuase I've approved 2 trained styles for you that you've not even used once. Use one of those two styles first before even submitting a new one. Talked it over with Sev, you're banned from submitting new trained styles until you at least use one of the two I've given to you. I'm appending this by requiring you to actually use every skill at least once in at least 1 PC/PC engagement/collab. After then, if you want to resub this trained style, you'll need to PURCHASE a resubmission.
Ability: Aquila was Lucas’ first spirit, his most treasured friend and mentor. It was a severe wound to his soul when Shoul silenced the eagle and sealed him away as to never again support Lucas in his endeavors. A part of Aquila would always be a part of the shingami. His teachings would linger on as Lucas has learned to control Bakudou at the same skill level when Aquila was with him. Lucas can cast bypassed Bakudou spells at 100% effectiveness.
Omnislash: The first part of training is to wield the wild unpredictability of lightning in battle with deftness, speed, and surety. For 8% reiatsu the user releases a series of blindingly fast lightning infused strikes on a single opponent at close range. Starting at 5 slashes the number of strikes increases by one for every 500 Zanjutsu, capping at 7000 Reiatsu and 19 slashes. The strength and speed is determined by Zan and Hou stat respectively.
Bolt Blade: For 5% of the user's reiatsu per turn, they can wield lightning as a literal weapon, allowing them to cut through most materials with a single blow. Regular objects with no spiritual energy are torn asunder immediately in a single slice, but objects with a considerable amount of spiritual energy attached to them are more resistant based on their strength or cost. This attack cuts clean through any construct or structure less than its cost, and cuts through all solid (non reshi infused) structures except metal or solid rock.
Volt Rage: At the achievement of mastery a practitioner of the. Draws a large electromagnetic force around their blade, equating to that of a large thunderstorm turning their weapon into one of unbridled destruction. The blade strike releases a gigantic electrical discharge with an energy output equal to half a nuclear explosion, and is capable of blacking out an entire city. Cost: 30% of user's reiatsu.
Final technique Requirements: 15,000 Reiatsu, Documented use of all basic abilities in a single collab.
Training: Anyone wishing to learn Lightning Blade must first find a master, training involves learning to become comfortable with lightning and sustaining it in a physical state in their hands and around their blade. This takes days to achieve for the first time, and days more to use it in battle without electrocuting yourself.
Aquila’s Remembrance - Denied I know this was approved as a kai ability but even then I wasn’t a fan of it. Looking at the other comparative abilities, this one is kind of insane. Clearcasting applies to everything but it doesn’t put it to auto-bypass. Lilith’s unique moves it to 80%. Adelaide gives 100% but it ONLY applies to fire spells which is a small fraction of all spells. This is for an entire school, a possible 99 instantly bypassed abilities. That’s waaaay too much versatility for no limitations. Lightning Blade - Denied First off, I think you should really look at the other trained styles for now Minj until you get a better hang of how these styles work and a better grasp on the mechanics. Either that or actually use the trained feat that was just approved for you and was balanced by Will to a useable state. Trained styles are complicated. If you look at them, they’re very similar in the way they’re set up. The first two abilities are weaker, but useful abilities with clear drawbacks. There’s the final ability that’s usually strong. This feat is currently a bunch of abilities that would make even single ability bankais blush. Omnislash - Doesn’t work. 20 strikes is bananas and there’s already an Omnislash in this RP. It’s part of Kyuto Tounyuu’s bankai and it gives 7 strikes and can only be used once per fight. 20 strikes on the right person can pretty much autowin fights. Bolt Blade - Is almost there honestly. However, it does seem to be weighed down with a bunch of weird stipulations that makes it far more complicated. Honestly if you made it simply a buff to the zanpaktou of the user that adds electric properties and can cut through mundane abilities it’s workable. Volt Rage - So half a nuclear bomb is not a standard measurement in the RP. Also half a nuclear bomb would do WAY more than blackout a city. It would vaporize a large portion of the city and honestly the user would most definitely be caught in the blast and automatically die. I know shinigami take some shit in this RP but a nuke is still nuke. It’s far too powerful.
Hi Hiren! I'm doing my duty to make your life more difficult <3
Name: Somatic Bypass
Type: Trained
Description: For those who use both spell and blade, there is one fundamental problem. How do you make the required hand-shapes, while holding onto your sword? Well, not with the same hand, obviously. Practitioners of this feat can manifest an extra pair of arms (attached at the shoulders) and/or legs (attached at the hips) made of kidou energy. The only function of these kidou limbs is to carry out the somatic component of a spell, instead of their real arms and legs, by paying an extra 10% of the cost of the spell. When used with Kenkyouka, the cost is paid when the spell is imbued onto the blade, and the extra limbs manifest when the spell is released. This can result in a lot of extra limbs when two spells are released at once, which could look kinda freaky.
Training: In order to learn Somatic Bypass, it is necessary to find a practitioner. The student is blindfolded and has their hands and feet bound. They must hold a mental image of their arms and/or legs (depending on the chosen spell for training) in the appropriate position, instead of where they actually are, and then try to cast a spell ten times in a row until it finally works. There is a risk of unpleasant backfire.
Okay, not doing a full review now. Just pointing out that this is really really weak for a trained feat. Sure it lets you skip out on the dance routine, but going off of what we talked about in the original thread for Sword Empowerment, even if you cast something Reitouten it'll still appear on your fist. Honestly, this is only going to apply to a specific subset spells and I honestly don't think this is going to warrant a full use of your feat slot.
Okay, read a few styles and I think I've got it now. How does it look?
requirements: 3000 Reiatsu
Lightning blade: Trained style:
Big Battery: This first technique allows the user to draw in electrical energy around their body as a solid force, the lightning forms a visual coating of sorts around their entire body. This manifests as electrical storm around them that works as a shield against physical and rei based attacks. Any blow that cannot pierce this energy field is deflected in the direction it came, along with delivering an electrical charge to the victim. This ability costs a 5% turn upkeep.
Bolt Saber:
For 8% Rei per activation, a practitioner can extend or strengthen their personal energy field in the form of temporary blades of lightning in a 3m radius. These arcs of lightning can lance off of any part of the body, and can be used for offense or defense as they are able to cut through many mundane objects and rei based materials with a lower base cost than themselves. When contact is made, the victim also receives an electrical discharge into their system.
Final Technique: Thunderstorm~
Cost: 20% Reiatsu
By focusing the electrical field around the user's body into a single point anywhere on their weapon, when that point makes contact it drops a heavy bolt of lightning on the victim, along with the full blunt of the user's blade. This causes severe burns and blisters on the opponent's skin, a minor paralyzing effect, and a knock back 3m. Because of the large amount of energy, focus, and skill to sustain this concentrated energy, this technique can only be used once per 3000 kidou.
Requirements~Mastery of Lightning Blade, 3000 kidou, 5000 Zanjutsu.
Training~ To learn this style you must find a master willing to teach you. Training entails learning to solidify reiatsu as lighting and gathering it around your body as an extension. To be considered a master you must have documented uses of all the techniques in 5 collabs with word counts over 2000.
