Shikai

Name
Tatsunokuchi (竜の口, Dragon-Headed Gargoyle)

Release Command
"Time to eat" (食べるべき時間, taberu jikan)

Form
Tatsunokuchi transforms into a large, double-edged cleaver-like sword that is taller than Manzou himself; the blade is nearly one and a half-meters long and shoulder width-wide, while the handle is half of a meter-long. There are two fangs at the top of the blade that curve inwards towards each other, one twice as long as the other. The crossguard is a thick, sectioned, flat hexagonal-like shape. The handle is connected to a beveled piece beneath the crossguard and is wrapped in bandages with a small dragon-head statue as the pommel.

The striking features of Tatsunokuchi’s shikai are the large fanged mouth aligned vertically along the blade surface and the tongue that protrudes from it; these features do not appear once the shikai is released, instead coming forth when the appropriate ability is used or at Manzou’s will. The mouth sits vertically on the flat side of the blade and is lined with fangs that can bite down on what comes within its reach. The tongue is thick and dotted with pore-like taste buds which secret a foul stench that none except Manzou can bare. It is rounded at the end like a human’s rather than split like a dragon’s and can withstand and deal a great deal of damage. The natural constitution of it is sticky with the saliva of the mouth compounding this. The sword is as heavy as it is large, though Manzou can wield it with great proficiency.

Ability
Mizuma (水魔, Disastrous Flood): Viscous saliva with a profound stench that none but the user can bare can be released from the blade’s mouth, either spit out or secreted from the mouth’s tongue; both forms of release have a maximum range of 20 meters and initially costs Manzou 5% of his maximum Reiatsu. Within the saliva are a countless number of microscopic parasites that seep instantly into the skin of the opponent upon contact and begin to feed on their insides, costing Manzou 5% Reiatsu for up to 2 more rounds. With each round that they continuously feed, they grow hundreds of times in size with the amount of flesh they consume increasing in proportion to their size; the maximum size in which that can grow is relatively the size of a large locust.

These parasites not only consume the opponent’s flesh from the inside, but their Reiatsu as well, the amount they consume equal to 15% of Manzou’s Reiatsu. This amount of Reiatsu is consumed after 3 consecutive rounds before they eat their way to the surface and die. They appear as a small undeveloped gargoyle with the head of a dragon. These dead organisms retain the reiatsu initially imbued in them by Manzou; the Reiatsu siphoned from the opponent is dispersed, unavailable to either party afterward. This Reiatsu can be absorbed through Manzou directly ingesting them or by the blade mouth ingesting them and then transferring the reiatsu to Manzou.

Ability
Nomihoudai (飲み放題, Bottomless Cup): After paying 10% Reiatsu, the blade mouth explodes to nearly three times its size and creates a void in which anything that is eaten by it disappears into, essentially nullifying the attack. This mainly applies to all directly-offensive Reiatsu-based attacks (such as both categories of Kidou and Cero), but this also includes physical forms of reishi- and kishi-based matter as well. Tatsunokuchi can either catch projectile attacks or physically eat away at physical bindings around Manzou. Any attack less than this cost is absorbed into the void while the remainder of the Reiatsu paid for Nomihoudai, if any, is returned to Manzou.

Bankai

Name
Nusuma no Hitsugi Tatsunokuchi (盗まの棺竜の口, Pilfered Coffin of the Dragon-Headed Gargoyle)

Form
Manzou forcefully throws his Zanpakutou into the ground which depresses the ground violently and instantly 30 meters in a perfect circle within the 10-meter radius around him. As the depression stops, one-by-one and row-by-row, 50 dragon-headed gargoyle spouts burst from the cylindrical wall of the pit from bottom-up, each spout relatively the size of a human’s head (5 rows with 10 in each). From the quadrants of the circular pit's bluff, four massive dragon-headed statues emerge from the ground, looming over the combatants below.

A black substance with the consistency of water, the animation of life, and the acidity of sulfuric acid slithers backwards out of each of the dragon spouts and quickly carves an intricate mural into the wall of the pit. These planar depictions of beings, both fictional and not, then protrude from the surface as three-dimensional sculptures. Each effigy represents a person that Manzou has slain in his lifetime, with more added for each time someone's life is taken by Tatsunokuchi's blade. A supernal shadow emerges, shrouding the walls and the volume of the pit itself from those standing all from its walls and outside the coffin's confines.

A single sword emerges from the ground directly in front of Manzou much the same in appearance as his Shikai with small differences. There is no thread or cloth for the hilt, only a long, straight black handle, nor is there a crossguard. The blade itself is mostly the same, though the gums and teeth in the mouth on the blade are now the same black gun metal as the blade. Unlike the blade tongue of the Shikai, however, Nusuma Tatsunokuchi’s tongue is now composed of amorphous black metal with a dragon’s head the same in appearance as the gargoyle spouts; it is flexible and moves independently, attacking like the weighted end of a kusarigama.

Ability
Jusui (入水, Suicide by Drowning): After paying 10% Reiatsu, with each cut made by Manzou on the opponent, an amount equal to 15% of his Reiatsu is withdrawn from the opponent over the next 3 rounds. This stripping of Reiatsu is represented in the saliva that then pours constantly from every one of the gargoyle spouts after the cut is made, enough to fill the entire pit up to knee-high level after the 3 rounds.

This saliva is slightly vicious, intensely putrid and extremely caustic---with acidity level near that of sulfuric acid---to anyone other than Manzou on contact. The Reiatsu imbued in Manzou’s blade before the cut is present in the saliva and returns to him after 3 rounds; the Reiatsu stolen from the opponent disperses, unavailable to either party afterward. The fluid won't drown either party though anyone other than Manzou will still be scalded viciously by it.

Ability
Shoushinjisatsu (焼き払う, Suicide by Fire/Burning One’s Self to Death): Whether or not the pouring of acerbic saliva is triggered by Jusui, Manzou can trigger the downpour himself, filling the pit at the same rate as the aforementioned ability. Paying 10% Reiatsu while the opponent is immersed in the pooling saliva, double that amount is taken from them over 5 rounds. The usage of this ability in unison with Jusui also expedites the rate at which the saliva pouring from the gargoyle spouts fills the pit; the rate increases to knee-high level (or roughly 1 foot) per round. The siphoning does not stack.

Ability
Chinamagusai (血生臭い, Bloody Stench): From each of the mouths of the gargoyle spout, a smell akin to that of a decomposed body is released. It is a nauseating smell that anyone other than Manzou is hindered by, tainting anyone else’s senses of sight, smell, and taste. It also serves to disorient the opponent’s ability to manipulate their spiritual energy effectively, resulting in the opponent now having to pay 1.5x the cost of any ability/attack they’re using. For this, Manzou must pay half the regular cost of the ability/attack in Reiatsu used by the opponent upon its usage and must pay 1% Reiatsu per round to keep Chinamagusai active.

Attack
Kawatarou no Bekkan (川太郎の別館, Annex of the River-Child): Manzou can remotely control the dragon-headed gargoyle spouts lining the cylindrical wall of the pit by impaling any surface of the pit with his sword; each spout becomes amorphous and moves in the same manner as the tongue within the mouth of the blade in his hands. When gripping the planted sword, he may only influence the tongue in one of the swords within the 10-meter radius around him and can control up to 10 spouts at once.

Each can be finely controlled, moving with the proficiency of Manzou’s Zanjutsu stat (though this ability is still subject to the multiple-weapons control rule), and each mouth can bite down on what comes within its 10-meter reach. Manzou must maintain a constant grip on the hilt for Kawatarou to work and pay 1% Reiatsu per round.

Okay reworked the power from a drain to a damage/heal power. Maybe overpowered maybe not! Fixed wording and separated mechanic/flavor text. Made some minor cosmetic changes to res form as well if it mattas. Power changes in RED

Resurrection
Resurrection: Lupus Deus Ferrum et Osse (The Wolf God of Iron and Bone)

Form: Zakeriah’s hollowfied form incorporates his armor as the white bone material spreads along all of his flesh (though it maintains it’s complex swirl patterns) and a second wolf head is mounted on his right shoulder opposite the one native to his silver armor. His clawed hands are tipped with obsidian talons and his white bone legs now have knees like a beast (allowing him to run on all fours) and end in clawed, articulate feet. He gains slightly over a foot in height and his mass becomes even more significant making him stand just under 7ft tall. Zak sprouts two extra arms, during the transformation they effectively seem to divide from his normal arms and appear to be attached to his shoulder instead of lower on his torso. These are only slightly longer than his ‘natural’ arms and work on a double-hinged elbow allowing them to readily bend backwards and forwards. The shoulder joint had become unusually flexible allowing both sets of arms to move with such fluidity and range that they almost seem able to shift position with each other.

His armor is entirely segmented around every muscle like some sort of anatomy guide and as Zakeriah breathes the plates of armor separate and come back together. When separating organic energy will snake between plates and his silver power can be seen throbbing between the segments, at the same time a not-so-visible red mist seeps into the air. These plates also seem to be able to separate to a more significant amount when he so desires releasing more of the power or sometimes the crimson mist. The scars all along his arms translate into the husk as black tattoos.

His featureless mask extends into a non-prehensile tail that hangs from the back of his head to just dusting the ground this is segmented like a spinal column but is far more flexible. Obsidian ridges line the segments of the tail. Should he roar or shout in this state skeletal fingers snake from the depths of his throat to pry his jaw apart for him.

His shinigami robes remain but the back gets shredded much as it did when he used his original release. This is due to a bladed swelling on his back, crossing his shelled hide and rising from behind. These are his swords. They are integrated into his body with the hollow bone holding them like natural sheaths. It is worth noting that his large wolf face tattoo on his back remains but appears embossed into the armor with his dark power sparking along the grooves almost constantly.

While sheathed all that can be seen of the blades is the crimson-wrapped hilts and a nest of actual chain wrapping around jagged obsidian spikes that make up the guard. When he draws them his old electrical energies flare to life in all their silver and ebony glory, drawing the weapons to his hands and again acting as they chains they were so meant to be. They strike around him with enough force to pick up dirt and make small craters though this has no real combat value without him activating his feat. The draw results in gouts of blood and effluence as the blades appear to be essentially torn from his hide. The oddly organic energy erupts in fury from the wounds and is constantly in contact with the weapons as if trying to pull the appendages back into place. Where the energy connects veins seem to spider web just beneath the surface creating an odd flowing appearance.

The zanpakutou, (being far too large to actually fit into his back) visibly construct themselves as they are drawn. Retaining similar shape and length as the shikai form both swords are large crescent shaped weapons that are now as bone white as rest of his body but with dark iron edges that are wickedly serrated for maximum damage. The swords are over six feet in length each, with a snarling wolf faces horrifically etched into their sides similar to the one on his back and glowing with the same power and an obsidian ring piercing the blades through the wolves mouths.

Attacks

Absolution of Destruction: The direct upgrade of Touch. Zak gains more control along with more fury to be unleashed. The phantom attack is no longer automatic instead Zak activates it in stages. He must transverse each stage to activate the next as well as spend each respective stage in some sort of combat. With each level his fury grows, as does the difficulty to stop or control him. Zak may not necessarily begin attacking allies, but getting between him and his opponent (especially at stage 2) would not be wise. (Zak now only has two stages of this power as opposed to the previous 3)

Stage 1: 5% rei, generates 10% Rage Lasts three (3) turns. There are now two phantom assaults following the initial blow. The assaults now can hit randomly over anywhere along the target. The phantom assaults now come with greater force that can send most opponents stumbling several (around 15 per undefended assault) meters. The organic lightning energy also begins to flash through the whole of his body occasionally illuminating parts of his skeleton like an x-ray; the red mist becomes noticeably prevalent and thick. The engravings of the wolf faces on his swords and back flare noticeably. One with silver, one with black/red energy, and the one on his back shifts between the two.

Stage 2: 10% rei Generates 15% Rage five (5) turns. 3 Phantom assaults now occur, one after another, each with enough concussive force to crater the world around their target. At the maximum tier his whole body appears to billow the red mist like a smokestack and the lightening storm continues with unmatched ferocity. Those willing to stand the heat of standing so close to Zakeriah while in this stage of fury might even hear thunder rumbling through the cloud. Where the bolts now strike earth they leave core marks that appear as blood splatters rather than burns. The glowing of the wolves is now bright and constant, the energy on the swords now moves along all of the small engravings alone the whole of the white sections of the blade.

Sanguis Mortis: The red mist constantly flowing from Zakeriah is effectively blood that easily and readily coats anything that gets close enough to the resurrected shinigami (melee range). What is perhaps not readily prevalent is the syrup-like property it gains as it sticks to any target with active spiritual energy. When badly wounded he can recall this blood and the collected matter back to his body to knit his armor and seal his wounds. The blood peels off the top layer of whatever it may be attached to so long as the object has some sort of spiritual pressure (mundane things are unaffected) and Advents feel a horrible rending at their soul and take damage there but are left physically unharmed where a hollow or other spirit target might find themselves missing a layer or two of dermis.

An opponent must spend 2 turns engaged in close combat with Zak in his 1st stage of Absolution or 1 if he is in his 2nd stage. Long range opponents opponents can avoid getting misted and those covered can remove the blood though it will not simply wipe off. By spending 15% of his reiatsu and accumulating 20% rage the power is activated. This heals him of moderate wounds and reduces more severe ones accordingly. Sanguis takes one turn to recharge (not including needing to coat the target again) and can not be used more than twice a battle.

Ability

Rhogog the Unstoppable: His resistance to binding carries over but has become considerably more potent as his engine is stoked to full intensity allowing him to expend 50% of the cost of a spell to break through it. In his Bankai state Zak's mind is so consumed by fire and fury this resistance now carries over to illusions and other mind affecting spells.

herp a derp.

minor numbers adjustment, nothing big.

111
Attack: With the staggering rise in its power, the scope of his zanpakutou’s edge is no longer limited to physical objects; instead, the very foundations of physics have now become susceptible to Kyuketsu’s blades. For a fraction of an instant, Fuhen Souryoku-senwarps the fabric of space and time, allowing its steel to cut instantaneously from a great distance. With a single swing once per turn, Kyuketsu can strike at targets as far as 25 meters away with full force as if he himself was standing right before them. This costs the user 1,000 reiatsu per slash.

Change to: 15 meters, but no longer restricted to one slash per turn.

Attack: The countless swords materialized throughout the battlefield are just as alive as those in Kyuketsu’s hands. Deadly even whilst impaled on the dirt, Kyuketsu can mentally command any of the one hundred katanas of Fuhen Souryoku-sen to ignite and scatter, acting as a kind of frag grenade which releases both energy and sharpened projectiles. The scope of one detonation ranges at 5 meters around and costs the user 1,500 reiatsu per weapon sacrificed.

By paying an additional 1% of his reiatsu per turn after that, all shrapnel that have been embedded into a target dig themselves deeper into the body unless otherwise counteracted by the victim.

Change to: 4% reiatsu damage instead of 1,500

Sage: Approved

Ketsup SK: Resubmit. My problem with this is on the null ability most others pay a certain amount to destroy and if you pay more well tough cookies that's part of the trade off for the nullification. I'd recommend doing the same but tweakin the cost down to 5% rei as it'll still get rid of most projectiles and kai based bindings without bankrupting you.
Ketsup BK: Resubmit. Before continuing, this kai is gross... moving on. First ability is fine its a delayed sap of a reiatsu which I don't really have a problem with. Second ability is fine, keep in mind when not in contact with the saliva the drain stops. Third ability is a no go, any cost modifications must be equal the the cost paid used to initiate them, a good example of what I'd allow is found in Hisao's feats Mark of the Virulent God. If you want to know how to structure this. Final thingy is fine.

Wayne: Assuming you bought a resub Approved if not you need to buy one

Cur: Resubmit. Some things about Res in my mind. As it stands your release doesn't really read as a Resurrection and could easily just be a bankai. For comparison Hisao's turns him into a 30ft tall amalgamation of man and spider, this gives you creepy armor and extra arms as well as zanpakutou which all work together to read as basically a really weird Bankai with one less slot than normal. The abilities themselves are fine, however again nothing really reads Resurrection about them and Sanguinis Mortius costs easily 3x more than it should.

Okay, resubmitting because of the mechanics change since its original submission. It still has emptiness generation, and the rage level may be off, too.

Stuff that has previously been approved

Name
Bokugyo

Release Phrase
"Lash out, Bokugyo"

Inner World
Rokuro's inner world consists of an endless sea covered by fog. The surface of the sea, although covered in waves, is solid enough for the man to stand on.

Manifestation
Always lurking below the sea, Bokugyo appears to Rokuro as little more than a shadow, shrouded in the fog.

Form
Bokugyo takes the form of a chain-flail of total length one meter. Halfway along its length, the primary chain splits into 10 tributary chains tipped with rhomboidal blades. At the other end, rather than a grip, Bokugyo terminates in a cuff around Rokuro's wrist.

Abilities
Ability 1 - Ikanosumi: For 200 reiatsu, Bokugyo releases a harmless smoke cloud from the tributary chains. The cloud has a diameter of 15 meters and reduces Visibility to virtually nothing. The cloud dissipates after 5 turns.

Ability 2 - Shokushu: By paying 100 reiatsu, the primary chain may be extended up to 20 meters from the cuff. The chain retracts when given slack.

Ability 3 - Kyuuban: In exchange for 5% of Rokuro's reiatsu, the tributary chains of Bokugyo adhere strongly to whatever they come into contact with for one turn. The adhesion may be renewed for additional turns by paying an additional 5% each turn.

Vizard Attack
Ikanodoku: For 10% of Rokuro's reiatsu, and generating 10% rage, Bokugyo produces a gas cloud 15 meters in diameter from the tributary chains. This cloud obscures vision and causes minor damage to people other than Rokuro when inhaled. It dissipates after 5 turns.

Shikai

Tatsunokuchi can either catch projectile attacks in its maw, physically eat away at physical bindings around Manzou, or break the reishi down by literally licking it with its tongue. Any attack less than the cost paid is absorbed into the void.

Bankai

It also serves to disorient the opponent’s ability to manipulate their spiritual energy effectively, resulting in the opponent now having to pay 5% of Manzou's Reiatsu in addition to the cost of any ability/attack they’re using. For this, Manzou must pay 5% Reiatsu upon the usage of the opponent's technique and the ability must be activated beforehand.

First TA attempt and a billion nerd points to whoever gets the name :D

And An Iron Everything For That Matter - True Awakening

Form: The entirety of Ewan’s skin slowly turns into an organic metal which is not only much stronger and more durable than its fleshy counterpart but retaining of the same flexibility. His eyes meanwhile completely shine a silvery colour. In this form his control over metal extends far beyond his own body.

Armed and Ready II (50% Resonance): While the IA only allows the changing of his arms (the only metal part of it), Ewan’s TA allows him to change any part of his body willingly for 2% Reiatsu without having to change the reformed area back to its original shape.

Mould Breaker II (50% Resonance): Much like the IA, Ewan’s TA also allows him to alter the shape of objects that aren’t part of him for 2% Reiatsu. As opposed to the IA, this includes those affected by Magnokinesis II (below).

Magnokinesis II (50% Resonance): Ewan can exert something of a telekinetic control over metals both near and far from his person. To take control over a metal object it must first of all be smaller than or equal to Ewan’s own size AND be within 25 metres in any direction so he can obtain control of it. Stationary objects require 2% of his reiatsu to be taken control of whilst moving objects, regardless of velocity and direction, require 4% of his reiatsu to be taken control of. However he cannot control/alter the zanpakutou of a Shinigami, Vizard or Arrancar nor any item directly connected to a Quincy’s abilities.

Kets: Approved

Tom: Approved w/ changes. Range on magno can move up to 30m. You can also take control of items up to your Internalize cap. However I'd like to see a clause to not be able to take control of items as well as zan.

So... just switching out the last ability, and changing % cost to base cost on second ability.

Kisaki Kerushi no Arashi
(Storm of the Empress Kerushi)
女帝の激怒

Form
As Lilith summons Bankai, the area around her, within a 30 meter radius, becomes her domain. Her fenghuo lun change shape, determined by the current emotion.

Futaku Matawa Goshujin Chuushin
(Submit or Open Thy Heart)

Lilith's mastery of emotions has grown with the realization of her Bankai. She overwhelms the opponent with any emotion or set of emotions she chooses. The sky, the ground, the weather changes in a way to reflect the current emotion. The emotion selected may last throughout the entirety of her released bankai or may change at any point. Within this realm, emotions are stifling, driving her opponents into a powerful frenzy led by the heart. Drowning and submerged in what they feel, it becomes easiest to simply withdraw from the fight altogether.

However, if the enemy chooses to fight, a hole the size of a bullet wound appears over their heart. Blood drips from it, staining their clothes and chest. The wound continues to grow every round, becoming increasingly worse. Each round that they insist to continue the battle, the opponent will experience pain equal to 2% of Lilith's reiatsu that is drained from her pool. This ability only lasts within her 30-meter range.

If Lilith has obtained United Front and established a strong enough connection to select members within Kerushi's domain, then she may freely choose to omit them from the effects of Futaku Matawa Goshujin Chuushin.

Omoide Umarekawaru
(Memories Reborn)

Memories associated with the enemy's emotion can manifest as fully tangible, realistic people or things that can move, speak, or breathe. These memories are fully reborn, appearing as natural and real as they existed from the opponent's past.

These manifestations act as vectors that carry kidou. Each requires 300 reiatsu to summon + the cost of stored kidou. One stored kidou is equivalent to one spell cast per turn.

Temae Mononisuru
(To Make You Mine)

By paying 1000 reiatsu per person, Lilith can overwhelm one opponent with the active emotion, making them physically incapable of attacking for one turn. During this turn, the opponent may not act in any way that attempts to cause damage to Lilith. This does not paralyze the opponent, but it prevents attacks; the opponent may defend or dodge instead. This attack is only usable 2 out of every 5 rounds.

Jishuku
(Self-Control)

In one massive attack that combines Lilith’s bankai with her training in kidou and hakuda, her hand becomes surrounded with a bright yellow glow that costs 8% reiatsu. With one blasting punch, she sends her fist at the hole that has manifested from Futaku Matawa Goshujin Chuushin. Upon contact, a series of mystic and arcane symbols are drawn all over the opponent’s body. Then immediately afterwards, every positive emotion that the enemy has ever felt shatter in their minds, and they are left as a darkened shell of misery and self-loathing. Physically, this manifests as a blast released from the symbols, exploding outwards along their body in a magnificent, destructive display.

old ability
Jishuku: Within this realm, Lilith's own emotions begin to swell within her. However, she has learned to control these feelings so completely that she can utilize this energy in her own offensive tactics, particularly in her primary combat ability: kidou.

Lilith can amplify any of her kidou with up to 5% reiatsu, increasing the potency of the summoned ability.

Bought a resub via Kan, using it to overhaul my Kai. I made changes according to our conversation, but let me know if I bungled anything up.

Name: Zhang Xu

Release Command:

Let's rock this, Zhang Xu!

Manifestation:

Zhang Xu appears in the form of a chimp settled onto an upturned wine barrel. More often than not, the chimp holds copious quantities of alchohol in his hands, and in fact, is often dual weilding shot glasses. His completely non threatening and simple appearance betry a keen intellect, but unfortunately for both zanpakutou and wielder alike, Zhang rarely makes any more sense than his owner. In fact, he rarely gives any good insight or conversation due to his constant misquoting and rash impulses.

Release form:

When called to, Zhang Xu takes the form of metallic arm and shin guards, enveloping Raury's forearm and leg, yet leaving foot and hand untouched(save for fist augmentations in the form of knuckle caps), so as to not interfere with the complex joint movements and dexterity that is requred of Raury when using his Martial Art. The guards appear relatively simple, aside from a poem scrawled rather sloppliy on each of the bracers, and are a dull silver in color.

In a world dominated by swords and magic, Raury has elected to let his fists do the talking. Zhang Xu, reflecting Raury’s feelings on this, has molded into a power that complements this style.

Wine-Stained Body, Self-Empowerment-

When released, Zhang Xu immediately begins to drain 3% of Raury’s reiatsu per turn. The energy used enriches the drunkard’s martial prowess, effectively combining his hakuda and hohou skills into a unified ability for the purposes of attacking or defending. This ability does not have an effect on Raury’s speed.

Swaying Motions, Impossible Dodge-

Born from a suiken user’s unpredictable style, Raury has the ability to move and contort in some surprisingly effective, if not ridiculous looking ways. Once every three rounds, Raury can put all he has into an extremely effective act of defense, making him capable of dodging attacks that would otherwise certainly connect. This technique costs 8% of Raury’s total reiatsu pool.

Raury cannot dodge an attack that exceeds double the cost of Impossible Dodge, and similarly cannot dodge attacks that exceed the sum of his combined hakuda and hohou.

Name:
[Shidare Josei] - Weeping Woman

Release Command:
[Aryūru sorera, Shidare Josei] - Allure them, Weeping Woman

Inner World and Manifestation:
shikai_zps4c1f5a8b.jpg

A thick fog blankets a city, tall buildings of various size fill the area. The architecture almost futuristic with neon lights lining certain areas of most of them. The fog rolls into the city, every nook, every curve and is only partnered with rain. A constant downpour seems to blanket the area as the temperature is just below tolerable means. Cold, wet, and foggy in a large cityscape is where Shidare Josei is most comfortable.

Shidari Josei or, Shi as the woman prefers to be called by Theo, is a very physical spirit. She always seems to have a sorrowful look on her face, regardless of her upbeat attitude and affinity for physical contact. Her purple hair, which seems to change like a wave between blue and purple, is pulled into two large pig tails which length drape well below to her waist. You can see right through her, revealing her skeletal structure and a large red beating heart. She wears no clothes save for pink polka dotted underwear which, more often than not, make her master blush. Always seen touching Theo, their relationship is one of yin and yang, he teaches her how to be more reserved and in turn she teaches him how to open up.

Form:
The form of Theo’s zanpacktou is an odd one in that, Theo becomes the form himself. Upon utterance of the command phrase the young boy becomes covered in a thick fog as a beam of light shoots into the air. The skies darken and become overcast, as rain begins to trickle down eventually becoming a heavy torrent. The fog disperses in the immediate area as the temperature lowers, the fog settles around him and he is revealed to be a much taller, much older version of himself. His height shoots to five feet and ten inches as his body looks more mature. The angles on his face become sharp and his signature fox like smile adorns it, his blue eyes become an even deeper blue as his body fills out with muscle as if he trained for years. His hair lays on his head, jutted every which way as it passes just below his eyes. White gloves adorn both hands with large pink hearts imprinted on the backs of them. Shidari matures him to suit her more physical tastes so that she can bare his appearance, she wants a man, and not some boy.

However, Theo has learned to not enjoy this part of his release and so, he will often call her by the formal name she told him and not some nickname she prefers. This frustrates her and only allows Theo a fraction of her power, often preventing him from using her phantoms and only changing the mood of the area, adorning him with the heart gloves, and increasing his reiatsu by only half the normal shikai release.

- [Fantomu no hōyō] Embrace of the Phantom -
At a cost of 3% of his reiatsu, Theo can create three copies of himself. These phantoms, have no physical body to them and as such can be easily wiped away by attacks is greater than that of their creation cost. Creation cost is divided evenly among all created phantasms. Theo can maintain any phantom for the duration of his shikai by paying 1% of his reiatsu per turn for each phantom active, maximum of three.

These phantoms replicate any cast Theo makes, however, only one of the spells may damage an opponent and be real. It must be stated which is the real kidou when being cast, either by Theo or one of his phantoms. Any kidou cast looks as real as the real thing until it makes contact with its target or is dodged.

Effective Immediately: Should your release interact with anything that is not a Kidou or Shunpo, i.e. any feats, techs, items, w/e provide either a spoiler or a link to the descriptions of the required things or your sub will be denied.

Resubbing per Shade. Will flesh out wordwise after approval. Brass tacks until then.

Name: Hyouden (Field of Eternal Snow)
Release: TBD upon approval
Spirit: TBD upon approval
Form: Sealed Released
Shi Kai Form: TBD upon approval

Shi Kai Abilities:

Ability: Onbin No Yuki (Gentle Snow) - Upon release of Shi Kai 20 meters of snow covers the ground. This snow is not a natural phenomenon and cannot be destroyed save for resealing the blade. Each round an additional 20 meters of snow covers the battlefield around Tsubaki. Onbin No Yuki allows Tsubaki to regenerate 5% of her Reiatsu per round per 20 meters of accumulated snow. This ability has no cap but Tsubaki cannot regenerate more than 100% of her total Reiatsu.

In addition, Onbin No Yuki has the power to mend wounds and heal. Tsubaki and any allies inside the perimeter of snow are able to repair minor wounds in three rounds, and moderate wounds in six. Serious or fatal wounds are not affected.

Attack: Toukan (Bitter Cold) - A snap of her fingers and the expenditure of 25% of her Reiatsu allows Tsubaki to flash freeze and immediately shatter the air in front of her target, doing an additional 5% damage for every 20 meters of snow that has accumulated but capping at 50%.

Ban Kai: Kokkan (Depth of Winter)

Appearance: TBD upon approval

Ban Kai Abilities:

Ability: Koori No Kyouran (Rage of Ice) - Upon release of Ban Kai an additional 40 meters of snow covers the ground. This snow is not a natural phenomenon and cannot be destroyed save for resealing the blade. Each round an additional 30 meters of snow covers the battlefield around Tsubaki. Koori No Kyouran allows Tsubaki to regenerate 10% of her Reiatsu per round per 20 meters of accumulated snow. This ability has no cap but Tsubaki cannot regenerate more than 100% of her total Reiatsu.

Alternatively, Tsubaki can choose not to regenerate the total percentage she would receive in a single round with Koori no Kyouran to instead send out a freezing shockwave whose power would be equal to the amount of Reiatsu she would have regenerated that round. This attack extends outward from Tsubaki herself, capping at 100 meters.

Attack: Tataki Waru (To Shatter) - An expenditure of 50% of her Reiatsu allows Tsubaki to flash freeze and shatter the total accumulated area covered in ice and snow, doing an additional 5% damage per 50 meters but capping at 75%. After this attack has been used the weapon reverts to its Shi Kai state, and cannot be fully released again in the current battle.

Beaks: Denied. Now I think you know why this is denied but, I’ll try to explain it for argument's sake. I am not going to approve a free rei regen. I am especially not going to approve a free rei regen that compounds every turn. Likewise I am not approving a nuke that also compounds in strength simply for you waiting when said strength can be up to 100% stronger than the original. Beyond this cap for shikai slot cost is 15%. These are not negotiable things, especially with the high caps you applied to the abilities.

In BK: No you are not getting a free nuke every round for choosing not to get an insane amount of regen. Same problems with the second ability as with it in shikai.

Take two.

Name: Fuyu No Nigiri (Winter's Grasp)
Release: TBD Upon Approval
Spirit: TBD Upon Approval
Form: Sealed Released
Shi Kai Form: TBD Upon Approval

Shi Kai Abilities:

Attack: Kyuna Samu-Sa (Cold Snap) - A quick sword strike costing 5% of Tsubaki's Reiatsu to execute. Attack speed is determined by her Zanjutsu. Strikes that connect with an opponent (regardless of the location of the blow) will not hurt, instead only a tiny patch of ice will be present on the victim. This ice cannot be removed unless detonated by Tsubaki or by the resealing of her blade. Instead of causing direct harm, these patches of ice cause all techniques (Attacks, Kidou, Feats) used by the victim to cost an additional 1% per ice patch. This effect is cumulative and caps at 10%.

Attack: Tatakai Waru (To Shatter) - For 15% Reiatsu Tsubaki can detonate all accumulated patches of ice on an individual with a snap of her fingers. This effect is immediate and causes not only the injury of the detonation but all pain that would have been felt by the ice patches previously is brought on as well. The intensity of the pain is dependent on the number of ice patches made by Kyuna Samu-Sa that are detonated.

1-2: Minor Discomfort
2-4: Sharp, Stinging Pain
4-6: Intense Discomfort
6-8: Severe Pain, Inability to Focus or Ignore
8-10: Debilitating Pain, will trigger nausea or feelings of faintness
10+: Agony

Once detonated, the victim no longer suffers any percentage increase in the cost of their skills.

Ban Kai: Kori Kaminokari (Ice God's Fury)

Appearance: TBD upon approval

Ban Kai Abilities:

Ability: Jaken No Samu-Sa - Each round Tsubaki is in Ban Kai, a small patch of ice will appear on her opponent similar to those made by Kyuna Samu-Sa. These patches of ice cause the victim to suffer a 2% increase in the cost of their actions (Attacks, Abilities, Kidou, etc) per patch of ice, with a cap of 20%. (Any additional patches will still attach themselves, but add no increase in skill costs.) This effect costs Tsubaki 2% of her Reiatsu per round to maintain. If the ability is shut off the patches melt off and disappear at a rate of one per round.

Attack: Tataki Waru No Arashi (Shatter Storm) - An expenditure of 50% of her Reiatsu allows Tsubaki to shatter all accumulated patches of ice on her enemy with one snap of her fingers. For each patch that is detonated an additional spike of ice measuring roughly 10 meters erupts from the ground underneath the target. These ice spikes cost Tsubaki an additional 1,000 Reiatsu per patch to summon, and have no cap save for the woman's own Reiatsu pool but cannot exceed the number of patches on the target.

When detonated, the patches cause an amount of accumulated pain based on the number shattered.

1-2: Minor Discomfort
2-4: Sharp, Stinging Pain
4-6: Intense Discomfort
6-8: Severe Pain, Inability to Focus or Ignore
8-10: Debilitating Pain, will trigger nausea or feelings of faintness
10+: Agony

Purchased a resubmission. BK comes later.

Kotoku
高徳
“Eminent Virtue”

The released form of the weapon is a six-ringed khakkhara or “sounding staff” measuring a total four shaku from end to end. Crafted of immaculate bronze and polished oak the stave is incredibly well-balanced and resilient. The primary ring is noticeably flatter and thinner than the others, sharpened to an edge suitable for cutting. A narrow bronze spike augments the opposite end of the weapon.

[ Seidou ] - 正道
(Path of Righteousness)

“It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.” - Buddha

Every action and step, word and conviction was taken on behalf of another. Through careful disillusionment and constant exposure to the pernicious outside influence woven by the world at large, Akio’s soul was left divided amongst the false truths sown like dark seeds into his heart. Feeding on his insecurities, watered by the tears of strife that drowned his spirit, these seeds grew into the gruesome demons that stole his inner-light. Having picked up those broken pieces Akio has built a new path by which to reach his own truth.

A vibrant sheath of brilliant scarlet-hued energy will engulf the spear in its entirety, dancing about like ethereal flames in the wind. Despite the outwardly visually stunning appearance, this cloak of power does not produce any degree of heat. Instead it is merely a tremendous mass of spirit particles gathered together and orchestrated by the power of Akio’s will alone.

This is but a reflection of the fervent resolve burning deep within his heart. Draining 3% of his reserve per round Akio may add constant fuel to the fire. With this fire he cuts through the darkness. This is his blade. Wielding the khakkhara like a spear this rhythmic and powerful aura simulates an omni-directional cutting force that damage all but the mender himself. It may not extend beyond a single hand-length in any direction from the body of the stave, but all who fall within its embrace are left at the mercy of a destructive and vicious onslaught similar to innumerable miniscule blades.

[ Naien ] - 内炎
(Inner Flame)

Like an undying torch that illuminates the way for the ignorant a quintessential spark burns unceasingly within. By way of this glorious self-righteous resolve one may never be forced to succumb to the infections of those around them.

Upon the initial introduction of a harmful outside influence - such as an overwhelming spiritual force, a poison, or the exposure to an energy source that disrupts the flow of his spiritual constitution - Akio may draw upon the whole of his resolve to fight off the invading threat. A constant effect, this skill will passively draw a necessary amount of energy from the mender’s reserve in order to maintain perfect physical and spiritual homeostasis. This acts as a 1:1 nullification, dissolving the assault in an exemplary showing of willpower. This ability cannot bring Akio below 25% of his maximum pool in order to avoid over-depleting his strength.

[ Chirirenge ] - 散蓮華
(Fallen Lotus Petals)

Carried like the seeds of new beginnings on the winds of change the light of truth permeates all who come into contact with the mender. It tears apart the shadows cast by those who wish to cover the world in darkness. With a single stroke those foul spirits may be eradicated. Draining 10% from his reserve the lieutenant will initiate a tremendous overhaul of the spirit particles in the surrounding area and consolidate them in the form of a shimmering sphere of scarlet energy, maintained within the central ring of the khakkhara. Over the next two rounds the energy will be allowed to grow like a budding flower, to a total 150% the original stored amount.

By calling the command phrase “Bloom” (咲け; sake) Akio may expel the energy in a vicious blast of erratic reishi. The particles will whir about with the healer at their epicenter, creating a cyclone of countless minute energy blades meant to purify all within a ten meter radius of the caster. Two rounds of cooldown are required before this technique may be initiated again.

Okay, here we go again. Expounded on my description for my hollowfied state and changed my powers to be...darker. Posting my Masked Shikai power as well now that we can do it. Power changes in REZ form in RED

Still absolutely open to feedback and not worried about being denied to perfect it! PM me if I'm not on messenger!

Shikai Masked power:

Blood Blade: Smatterings of red mist collect around his sword and is splattered on his opponent when he makes a successful strike and is replicated by his phantom blow via Touch. By allowing himself to gain 10% rage and expending 10% of his reiatsu these blood marks explode violently on whatever target they may be on.

REZ

Form: Zakeriah’s hollowfied form is that of when he served the Master as 'The Faceless Weeper'. His body grows a white chitinous exoskeleton that consumes and incorporates his armor as the white bone material spreads along all of his flesh (though it maintains it’s complex swirl patterns) though the wolf head on his shoulder vanishes. When designing his division armor he subconsciously created it in reflection of his old body. His clawed hands are tipped with obsidian talons and his white bone legs now double jointed into beastial forms (allowing him to run on all fours) and end in clawed, articulate feet. He gains slightly over a foot in height and his mass becomes even more significant making him stand just over 7ft tall. This is also where his body under his new exoskeleton is visible, it seems to be totally exposed muscle with a pale and mostly transparent mucus covering it.

His shinigami robes remain even on his enlarged body as he wears them very loosely anyway. This form either mocks his shinigami heritage or lends to the Masters belief that hollow and shinigami were once one and the same. It is worth noting that his large wolf face tattoo on his back remains but appears embossed into the armor with his dark power sparking along the grooves almost constantly.

His exoskeleton is entirely segmented around every muscle like some sort of bizarre anatomy guide and as Zakeriah breathes the plates of armor separate slightly and come back together. When separating red muscle and a black viscous substance can be seen underneath, at the same time a not-so-visible red mist seeps into the air. These plates also seem to be able to separate to a more significant amount when he so desires releasing more of the power or sometimes the crimson mist. The scars all along his arms translate into the husk as more significant runic engravings vs the patterns and swirls already carved into every inch of his body. His arms are lined with short spines that are not separate from his exoskeleton but appear as molded extensions of it, even though these are solid pieces the do visibly seem to grow several inches as he becomes agitated. His forearms are each embossed with the visage of a snarling wolf similar to his back.

Zak’s forearms conceal his primary weapons, at will these plates separate revealing the milky red effluence, along with unusually pale muscles and tendons. The muscles morph and shift into a swell into an orifice from which a long bladed quill-like spine extends. They are as bone white as rest of his body but with a dark iron edge that are wickedly barbed and serrated for maximum damage and as sharp as any zanpakutou. These ‘swords’ extend reflexively and intelligently from two to four foot long blades. The plates of his exoskeleton quickly reshape around the blade’s base. All of this happens with relative speed that any master swordsman could draw a weapon from a normal sheath.

His featureless mask extends into a non-prehensile tail that hangs from the back of his head to just dusting the ground with a smattering of spines similar to those on his forearms lining the appendage. In his resurrection state his reiatsu changes from silver to gold.

Attacks

Absolution of Destruction: The direct upgrade of Touch. Zak gains more control along with more fury to be unleashed. The phantom attack is no longer automatic instead Zak activates it in stages. He must transverse the first stage to activate the next. With each level his fury grows, as does the difficulty to stop or control him. Zak may not necessarily begin attacking allies, but getting between him and his opponent would not be wise. (Zak now only has two stages of this power as opposed to the previous 3.)

What is perhaps not readily prevalent is the syrup-like property it gains as it sticks to various surfaces making it thick and difficult to remove. He has an unusual sense of this blood, allowing him to sense anyone that comes into contact with it but this is only the base application of this power.

By gaining 15% rage and expending 20% of his reiatsu he can detonate all of the blood he has spread so far in a violent explosion. The maximum range is standard bankai (40yds) and any of the blood outside that radius instantly evaporates and is no longer volatile. The longer he is in his res state the more potential damage he can do. Zak is unaffected by the explosion personally however all the blood is removed from the battlefield as it has been drawn back into his body. The returning substance has the potential to heal damage inflicted up his body up to severe wounds. He need spend at least 3 turns in combat to get the healing benefit of this power at a Moderate level and 5 to achieve Severe healing.

Ability

Rhogog the Unstoppable: His resistance to binding carries over but has become considerably more potent as his engine is stoked to full intensity allowing him to break illusions and other mind altering effects as well as physical binds. While he still needs to expend 50% of the cost of a spell or ability to break through it; his hollow state has added a new level of lethality to this ability, making using these sorts of spells not only almost useless but dangerous to the caster. A vicious backlash now occurs resulting in psychic damage equal to the rei Zak had to spend to break the spell. What’s more, a spiritual corruption is introduced into the victim. This does not cause damage but makes it gradually more difficult for the opponent to harness their own spiritual power. Attempts to harness rei for any ability requiring it creates immense pain in the target and increases the amount of rei required by 5% per attempt (capping at 25%) as they cause the corruption to spread within themselves. With each attempt the psychic pain also increases significantly.
