Item Submission Thread

Its my first time please be gentle. I think I've done everything right.
This item is suppose to supplement the 5th division tech Pitfall.

[Item Name]
Helping Hand (mori te)

[Item Tier]

D-Rank

[Item Physical description]
A black glove with a thin circular pad on the center of the palm. The glove is made of regular leather material while the circular pad is made out of thin flexible metal. When the glove is being used you can see thin glowing lines that go up to the fingers from the pad. The glove is connected to five specific mundane objects. Those objects are very small in size and can be carried in a small bag.
Object Example: a marble

[Item abilities]
Concentrating Reiatsu on the glove, a user can pull a linked object from the battlefield towards them for the cost of 100 Reiatsu. The object can be no further than 15 feet from the glove. Holding a linked object one can launch the object outwards making the object go flying out in the direction pointed.

[Acquisition of item]
Sunai invented the glove and linked them to five objects himself. (Writing a chapter about it)

S Rank
The Bay Ray System

An item with two parts that work together.

Name:
It's Clam!
Appearance:
So named because it looks like an open clam with a handle on the hinge. It is painted completed white and there is a glass dome where the meat would usually be. A targeting laser is held within the dome.
Ability:
This is not a unique item. It can be mass produced and handed out to other people without taking up an item slot. The targeting laser sends coordinate information on what it is pointed at.

Name:
The Doorway With Nothing on Either Side
Appearance:
It looks like a ring made of dark green metal, large enough to be held by both hands. A holographic screen that displays information is framed by the ring.
Ability:
It can track every It's Clam! no matter where they are. It even works through dimensions.

The real ability of TDWNoES is to open a portal, up to 30 meters in diameter from the sky of its current location to the sky over wherever a targeting laser is being aimed. The portal is too dangerous to be used by living or spiritual beings but anything else can pass through it without ill effect.

It costs 1000 reiatsu per portal though portals may stay open as long as the targeting laser remains active. Only one portal may be open at a time.

Acquisition:
Built using a combination of plans for the senkaimon, Earth laser technology and long range signal transmission.

[Division Item] – Queen’s Fang

Appearance: An armor made specifically for Kyuketsu.

Its design is contoured to look similar to that of a shinigami’s shihakushou. Over the black plating that makes up its primary skin, a secondary dark gray shell overlaps the chest, hips, and arms to allow for absolute defense and protection. Each individual part, from the shoulder guards and onward, bears an intricate design unique from the rest of the armors available to the Eleventh division. Separate from the main body is a pair of doubly enforced gauntlets with each individual finger sharpened to a point, allowing for clean and precision cuts with just a swipe of the hand. As an added advantage, despite its concrete build, the armor is surprisingly flexible, allowing for maximum speed and flexibility from the user.

The entire suit is amazingly collapsible when outside of combat, reverting to but a simple metal band wrapped around Kyuketsu’s wrist.

Ability: The armor grants Kyuketsu the ability to forge reiatsu-based spears around three feet each at the cost of 250. Once manifested, each dart is subject to the user’s control via physically or through a pseudo-telepathic connection. For the latter, he can arrange and rearrange them at will as they float around him, both serving defensive and offensive purposes. Having absolute control of their every movement, he can command the darts to move freely within 30 feet of him before losing his influence. He can even make the spears fly at a target within its designated range at speeds equivalent to how hard Kyuketsu himself can hurl something.

Each dart can be resilient in its own right. This durability, however, is not constant, as they only last for 3 turns a piece and can be broken easily by attacks of considerable strength.

Acquisition: Given to Kyuketsu by Tsubaki’s spirit fragment underneath a chasm in the Eleventh Division – The Torch

Note: Item is tied with Division Tech: Tectum of Fides, and is the new standard Division Item for 11ths, replacing the shield and gauntlets.

[Division item]- Tsukanoma no Kishi (Roughly translates to Transient Knight)

[Item Physical description]- At a glance, this item appears to be a decorated suit of shining white armor lined with streaks of blue and red. If others try and wear it, its hefty weight will hinder their movements; however to Ryoujin, he can don the armor with impunity.

Reference
Chibi_Lord_Rasler_by_xXxJeckyxXx.jpg

0514rasler.jpg

[Item abilities]- With his speed as his forte, the armor given to Ryoujin grants him a certain level of invincibility when he performs any variation of shunpo. When executing a said flash-step, a scorching aura roughly 5 inches surrounds his entire body. Anything caught near the aura before during and after Ryoujin performs a shunpo gets damaged by the same cost he uses to pay the ability. He cannot perform a shunpo that is worth anything over 1,000 reiatsu while wearing the armor.

[Acquisition of item]- Pending Training Collab with Kyuketsu.

:: Misogi - “"Purification Ceremony" ::
Item: Unique
Rank: S
Appearance:

In its dormant state Misogi is embedded directly into Ciro’s right hand. While dormant, the supernatural material causes spiral shaped markings, colored a pale silver, throughout his hand and extending up his arm. Furthermore, the markings extend across the right-half of his face.

When given enough reiatsu, the material reacts with his energy signature, and activates. The material coalesces as a small sphere, a color similar to pure mercury, and revolves around his body. The size of the sphere is roughly the size of his fist and has a durability relative to even zanpaktou.

Ability:

Due to being merged to his body when dormant, the material has taken quite a liking to Ciro’s reiatsu. Likewise, Ciro has found that his control over the material is much greater than with any of his other created items.

The substance is self replicating, allowing it to create additional mass at will. Doing such, it can increase its weight to occupy a full 10 square meters, growing at a rate of 2 meters per turn. Furthermore, it can be directly affected by any of Ciro’s substance modifying feats and kai techniques, allowing its shape to be easily modified.

Though its amorphous state makes damage nearly impossible, any physical or energy-based damage sustained reduces any solid state it assumes into nothingness, forcing it back into its liquid state. Regardless of its state or shape, Misogi may be recalled to Ciro by paying 1000 reiatsu, provided it is within 10m. Ciro can always lift Misogi.

Claret Leaf
Item: Unique
Rank: S

Appearance:
A deep red, claret leaf from a Japanese maple tree.

Ability:
Even with a captain's power to level mountains, all abilities do not successfully affect their targets. Therefore, with this Claret Leaf, Lilith may imbue an additional 1000 reiatsu to give the illusion of a fully successful ability usage. The enemy's body will not be physically hurt, but their senses tell them that they have experienced the ability/attack to the fullest extent.

Acquisition: I recognize that this may need some tweaking, so just let me know.
During Lilith's Lies in Remembrance battle, Under the Claret Shade, the Mystic Captain was challenged to the pinnacle of her mental capacity. Raifuku's illusion had paved an opportunity to see Ciro's gruesome scenes, Arano's bleak memories, and pushed Lilith to exercise her mystic powers to its absolute threshold. This apex of combating psychal strengths opened a new ability in Lilith that manifested in a single claret leaf.

Following the battle's brutal conclusion, Lilith appeared outside of Raifuku's maze, holding onto this leaf as a memento from the extraordinary match.

Claret Leaf
Item: Unique
Rank: S

Appearance:
A deep red, claret leaf from a Japanese maple tree. Only Lilith is capable of seeing it.

Ability:
The Claret Leaf manifests Lilith's psychal powers, a physical representation of them. As such, the leaf itself is not actually a leaf, but the link between Lilith and The Divine. Forcibly implanting this link to a target, however, is not such a pleasant experience.

Levelling the pinnacle of her mental capacity upon an attack, a visible distortion takes it over. This attack is to be considered under the effects of the Claret Leaf, and its effects are initiated by paying 2500 Reiatsu in addition to the ability's initial cost. Should this attack come within 5m of its intended target, or any target, the psychic power infused within the attack automatically levies the full pain and intended effect of the imbued attack on those who stray into this range. This ability does not cause actual damage, simply making the target feel as though they have already been hit.

The Claret Leaf may be used once per ability imbued, after which it is incapable of affecting the mind of those who have already experienced it. This ability does not bypass any abilities which resist or negate mental-based damage.

Acquisition:
During the battle inside of the maze, Lilith's mental capacity was placed to its utmost from the warring mental powers, creating a rift in her psyche that will always hold a small piece of the illusion and trickery she bore witness and subject to. This rift created a visual prompt from her mind to protect it, a stop-gap solution that strengthened her connection with The Divine.

This solution was the Claret Leaf, an item invisible to all but herself as a manifestation of the damage her mind sustained during the fight, and the potential of her psychal powers made physical.

Item Name
Amai Kousu (甘いコース, Sweet Course)

Item Type
Unique

Item Tier
C

Description
Amai Kousu is a small, deep red ball that looks like an enlarged version of a Gikongan. It is almost weightless, no heavier than a piece of paper.

Abilities
Manzou imbues 1,000 Reiatsu into Amai Kousu before feeding it to the Shikai form of his Zanpakutou, Tatsunokuchi. The blade mouth ingests this pill and instantly gains 2,000 pounds in weight though Manzou is not limited by this drastic augmentation; in his hands, Tatsunokuchi feels no heavier than it did before. This not only amplifies the force behind each swing but also increases its hardness, allowing the blade to shatter even the densest of materials on contact. Additionally, pponents with a less comparable attacking than Manzou's Zanjutsu may be thrown back several feet even when defending. The pill is not fed to Tatsunokuchi each time for this effect; after it has been eaten, Manzou simply pays the cost again once Shikai is released to have the weight applied.

Acquisition
Manzou commissioned the Research & Development Institute to make Amai Kousu.

Ketch: Denied
So I know that for the longest time, people were allowed to turn to the resident nerds of the Gotei for their item needs...

No, Ketch. Just no. One sentence about an item that directly affects your zanpakuto (this is getting denied for its ability too, I'm not just being an asshole) that attributes it to Manzou throwing it into the hands of the SRDI and out pops an item is not okay.

The ability itself is too much. C-Tier is C-Tier. You don't get 2000 lbs of effortless weight lift off C-Tier. You also shouldn't be paying 1000 Reiatsu on a C-Tier. You're getting a very non-descript effect off of a mechanic that you over-detailed.

So let's put this in perspective: If you want to use Breaking Palm, use the spell.

If you want to use Sou Ryou Meku, use the spell.

If you want Chad's arm-smash, you're looking in the wrong place.

2000 lbs of effortless weight lift is a lot of weight to swing around, not okay. Making it so that you can sustain that infinitely by paying a cost that is out of your tier range is also not okay. Further enhancing that by trying to sneak in a clause on scaling an effect with your Zanjutsu (If you want to throw people around regardless of offense/defense then refer to Cur's item as a jumping point) is also not okay.

Resubbing with a different, but similar effect. I removed the costs for book repair because it seems a little mundane to have a cost.

[Kaki Tsudukeru - "To Continue Writing"]

[Item Rank] A-tier

[Item Physical description]
A black leather writing case that hangs from the belt, later adapted for the inside of Sayis' haori. Opens from the top and has a space with enough room for one or two books. There are compartments for paper, ink, and quills, as well as sealing wax and a pair of scroll weights.

The most significant item inside is a relatively small notebook with a black leather cover. The pages inside are a pristine white and the cover has a smooth but pebbled surface. There is a small quill stored in the spine with a very fine tip. The inside of one cover has the signature of Wisteria Rosenthal sprawled delicately across it.

[Item abilities]
The item passively draws a negligible amount from Sayis' reiatsu, using it to refresh or repair the items inside. The paper and ink replenish in time, and any damaged texts regenerate while inside. Such repairs cannot be done during combat.

The notebook is essentially a log book, keeping a record of whatever is written inside it, things that are said in its general area, and memories or thoughts that the owner specifically aims at the notebook. While it only appears to have two hundred pages or so, the true limit is unknown: regardless of which page it is opened up to, the book will show what the owner is looking for, so long as it is recorded inside. Unfortunately, without knowing what to look for, it is impossible to pull up new information. It is thus limited to what the current owner has personally inscribed in the book. It is uncertain how much forgotten knowledge is contained within or how many owners the book had in the past.

By paying its full cost, Sayis can imprint a spell onto the book. When a person reads the imprinted spell, they are granted temporary knowledge, enabling them to cast the spell a single time without bypassing any required incantations. This pulls from Sayis' threshold when initially cast, but does not take from the reader's threshold or reiatsu. Memory of how to cast the spell is lost immediately afterward and it is erased from the book. Only its owner, Sayis, can imprint a spell and only one spell may be imprinted at any given time. The imprinted spell will remain indefinitely, until either used or replaced.

If Sayis changes the imprinted spell, the previous one (and any reiatsu or threshold used toward it) is lost.

A reader cannot make use of spells they do not have the requisite feat to access.

[Acquisition of item]
In a training session with his captain, Sayis' original notebook was damaged beyond repair. He later received a new notebook as a gift from his fellow officer Wisteria. Reflecting on the previous training accident, Sayis feared something similar happening to Wisteria's gift. That, along with backache from constantly tucking the books behind his belt, prompted him to seek a commission from the 9th Division. Surprisingly, Captain Saika Rakushun himself accepted the task... for an exorbitant fee. The effects of the writing case awakened certain latent power inside the notebook.

- Recipients of imprinted knowledge do not have spell stack to threshold
- Sayis may sustain the imprinted spell indefinitely and between writing.

I wasn't kidding about stealing her sword. It's still a total shot in the dark here though. I'm not a 100% sure here, but any helpful insights would be appreciated. Thanks.

[Name Pending] - S Class

In his confrontation with former Captain Diega Torres, the limits of Kyuketsu’s abilities were put to their absolute limit. He fought against an ancient Kenpachi whose legendary strength was immortalized in the Gotei’s history books. Being one of the very few to survive and win against the Matron Saint, the Acting Captain’s fortitude and resolve grew to an even higher zenith than before. Though not the type to hold on to trophies and mementos, Kyuketsu opted to keep the fallen warrior’s sword nevertheless. Laying claim to the weapon’s ownership by defeating its former master, the Templar has been able to unlock a few abilities both unique and similar from how Diega herself once used her sword.

Appearance: The sword itself looks exactly the same as when Diega was using it. It bears a heavy Western design, specifically of Spanish (Toledo) origin, while at the same time still harboring a few Eastern elements. When not in use, Kyuketsu keeps it hanging side by side with his own zanpakutou. Like any regular sealed soul cutter, it remains as an ordinary sword. Though resilient in its own right, it lacks any special abilities to boast.

Once the user channels his reiatsu into its frame, however, the item’s true abilities come to light. The blade shifts in appearance, scintillating a white light as it wraps around Kyuketsu’s forearm to create a metallic bracer. Attached to the under area of the wrist is a 10-foot long ivory whip.

Ability 1: Imbued with the crackling force of lightning, the whip bears the same properties rightfully so. When paid 300 reiatsu, the whip can grow to a certain length (with a maximum of 30 feet) at the user’s behest. This extension lasts 2 turns before it reverts to its original size.

Ability 2: A bolt of lightning is both elegant and catastrophic. As such, its power lies not only in destruction, but also in speed. At the cost of 1,000 reiatsu, Kyuketsu can accelerate to an area previously hit by his whip. His evolved speed, in its best, reaches thrice the speeds of regular shunpo. This ability, however, is restricted to only 10 uses per battle.

Acquisition: The sword is taken by Kyuketsu after his fight with Diega in Violence Fetish. Personal chapter where he understands it in-depth (in his inner world) is still pending.

Wayne: Denied
Alright, gonna do another rundown for this one:

1) You're essentially trying to take a sword that doesn't exist. If Diega isn't real, why should her sword be any more so?

2) If you feel the need to list two separate abilities, there's a problem.

3) Ability one: You're giving a variable output. If you want to choose how long your whip gets, pay 100 reiatsu or whatever to extend it a foot, and let that stack for up to 10 feet. Time limits wouldn't be necessary because you're using an actively paid-for ability.

4) Ability two: First of all, shunpo speed is determined by hohou stat, not some predetermined source. Even if it was, I don't think going "Three times as fast as instantaneous" really makes any sense. Similarly, limiting your usage on something that's not really even that powerful is unnecessary. Lastly, how would this even work? You teleport to the end of the whip and your whip is...where exactly? If this was a spiderweb situation maybe, but not on a single line.

5) See all that text you put up at the top where the description should have been? Your acquisition space is there for a reason.

This is a case of doing too much at once with little to no justification between abilities. You lengthen your whip which gives you more range on an ability that has no comparable speed and less range than an ordinary shunpo. It's like taking three right turns to go left.

I know what complaint I'm going to get about the "It's not real" comment: But Lil's item! Here's the lowdown, I rewrote that as being a literal rip in Lilith's mind that manifested as a leaf which she associated with the memory that caused the rip (prior to which it was still referred to as a manifestation of her power rather than the item itself). That rip also happens to synch up with her pre-existing powers to create its own effect. This is you trying to take a sword that doesn't exist and giving it powers that it didn't have.

Resubbing for something I'd actually use.

Name: Kagennotsuki Hands
Rank: A-tier

Acquisition:
Through trust and trials, Seiko Kiryoku had given Lilith a piece of his broken zanpakutou in the shape of a black pendant. Upon realizing that it was possible to reawaken its spiritual energy, Lilith had the pendant reshaped into two hand ornaments that are more suitable for her style of combat. Gold chains wrap around her fingers while the black metal clings to the far edge of her hands.

Ability:
With this item, Lilith is able to launch kidou from her fists at a cost of 500 reiatsu, in addition to the cost of the spell.

- No cost really needed for something like this
- You can't punch AoE's.
- You can't punch insta-forms (Sai, Nisai, Reaving Winds, etc)
- Kidou has to actually be physical.

- Spells are not launched but 'released' on contact.
- All spells must released this way must be used via physical contact (most spells are launched from the hands or about the hands anyway)
- Additional cost of 1000 Reiatsu
