Beaks: The Blood Vanguard: Approved With Changes
Simply alter the Kidou Pool statement to include all thresholds, and this is good to go.

Pho: Subspace Communicator: Approved
The most grevious misuse of the ability to transcend dimensional barriers I've ever seen.

I love it. Make it cost 200 reiatsu per phone call with $10 a minute for long distance charges

Welp, no idea what happens now.

[ Fukumen Kage :: Veil of Shadows ]
[ A-Tier Item :: Arano ]
[ Item Appearance ]
Worn and battered, the oak-colored cloak that now holds vestiges of spiritual power held within has a rather simplistic appearance. Only minor repairs have been made to it, spotty patches and faded hemming added to try and curb the excessive fraying at its ends.

[ Item Ability ] A vessel for residual power of Ciro Martelli and Arano, channelling reiatsu through it creates a strange phenomenon. By paying 1000 Reiatsu, Arano may use the cloak to assume the form, appearance, and voice of anyone he wishes. Similarly, while in this state his own reiatsu is altered to mimic that of whoever he is transformed into. Arano must have seen the target to be able to alter his appearance to match theirs.

[ Acquisition ] The first and only willing gift he ever received from Ciro Martelli, Arano received the cloak shortly after his own self-sacrifice to the Italian.

[ Gyoushi Innen :: Gaze of the Fates ]
[ A-Tier Item :: Arano ]
[ Item Appearance ]
When Ciro saved Arano from permanent injury by giving him a replacement eye, he thought he had created a faulty product. This is partially correct, as the crimson, pupil-less eye now occupying Arano's left eye socket is useless for conventional sight.

[ Item Ability ] However, as Arano turns his gaze upon any who are actively using their reiatsu, he gains sight into something else – their memories. This effect is passive and cannot be deactivated save by covering or closing the eye. At first, Arano is capable only of seeing recent memories, or memories that might be at the forefront of the target's thoughts.

However, as more reiatsu is used by the target, Arano gains insight further into their past, with the effect only magnified with time. Arano has no direct control over what memories he views or who he views them from.

[ Acquisition ] Arano was given the eye by Ciro Martelli in the aftermath of Chasing Shadows to replace the one that he had lost.

Resubbing this item that I had for Nate for Cam. Essentially making it so that he gets a kidou slot for every item tier.

Name: Physical Memory

C-Tier Item

Physical Description:
A network of subcutaneous implants that Cameron has laced through his hands. While implants themselves are invisible, the result--bumps and ridges in his skin--are quite obvious, tracing geometric patterns across his hands.
RE: Physical
1345029507_10394ef639.jpg
Item Abilities:
The implants are essentially a method of storing kidou energy; allowing Cameron to cast a kidou who's information is stored within the implants (this kidou can be different from his equipped kidou in slots as this item expands his kidou library by one slot per item grade). However, the devices aren't perfect and are able to store up to two low level kidou or one mid level kidou consuming the two available slots.

This needs some adjustment. As I said on AIM, this is just a little on the OP side. Perfect mimic in every way is pretty crazy. After fishing through the various little nerfs that could help this item, I think having a latency period between the activation of the item and the completion of its effect is the best course of action. This could be percieved as a more gradual shift into an alternate personae as opposed to instant stealth. This'll make it a little less OP and stop it from being abused in combat.

[Gyoushi Innen]

This one's a bit more tame. Although memory-related items are pretty meta-gamey, you've kept this one vague enough as to not really get into that territory; a little too much if you ask me. Instead of keeping the memories Arano can pull out totally vague perhaps, as we discussed, have them tied to some sort of emotional response or cue from your target -- emotions that evoke strong memories can cause those images to appear. Also, include an upper limit on the timeframe progression (at what point can Arano see the farthest into his target's memory, expressed in turns or rounds)

Name
Kaisoukaki (回想牡蛎, Memory Oyster)

Tier
C

Description
Kaisoukaki is an asauchi in the form of a wakizashi that looks, in all ways, exactly like Manzou's Zanpakutou; both the hilt and the hanging cord wrapped around the black scabbard are both azure. He carries it in conjunction with his Zanpakutou.

Ability
When cutting an opponent, Manzou may instantly remove a selected piece of information from the victim's mind that pertains to the abilities of his Zanpakutou or previously-used Kidou. This can only be used against one enemy at a time; if Manzou takes away a piece of information from one enemy and does it to another, the former's removed memory is restored and the latters is removed. The effect is not automatic with every cut; if he so chooses, Manzou can simply use the asauchi in battle as a second sword with the effect happening only at his will. This costs 500 Reiatsu and lasts for 3 rounds before the stolen information is automatically restored to the opponent.

Acquisition
After gaining knowledge of the name of his Zanpakutou, Tatsunokuchi, and of its core ability, Mizuma, Manzou decided to commission the weapon from the Shinigami Research & Development Institute, finding a giant loophole and/or liability in the technique and hoping to cover up such with Kaisoukaki.

Approved, with the stipulation that he cannot mimic reiatsu greater than his own. Also note that abilities which see through illusions or use the right spectrums would be able to see past this.

This really is not in the realm of normal items, especially considering the fact that it's always on, at no cost. The effect is also not completely static.

The restrictions I would place on this would render it obsolete. I would probably, however, approve this concept for an S-rank item. Bearing in mind that S-ranks must be new items (not upgrades), you may want to begin writing up acquisition in preparation for when you are able to submit an S-rank.

B/c w/ bleed i should hit this next week:

:: Kentetsu ::
:: A-Tier Item :: Hisao Adachi ::
:: Appearance ::
Though not physically manifest on his person, Kentetsu is nonetheless an object – namely a thin sheen of ink that wraps entirely around his arm. This band of ink has no discerning traits, looking for all the world a very unimaginative tattoo.

:: Ability ::
Hisao Adachi's capacity for kidou is almost unmatched in the centuries of experience he's been gifted with. Through his failing physique but keen mind, he has divined a manner by which he can combat offense with offense. Whenever an enemy is using a kidou spell that resides on Hisao's kidou list, its incantation and name appears upon the ink band in solid white.

By paying equivalent cost to the kidou, he may immediately cast it at full strength for a partial bypass (no incantation). This may only be done during or immediately after an opponent casts a spell, and cannot be used against bypassed spells. Upon being used, the band requires three rounds to reset itself before it may be used again.

:: Acquisition ::
Intense study coupled with the scientific intellect of Advent Humans allowed Hisao to fully understand the runic mannerisms of kidou, which is what the band of ink is made up of. The inscriptions are all hand-drawn and of his own design.

Item Name: Viz Mask
Item Rarity: Vizard Mask
Item Rank: C Tier
Description: http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs47/f/20...t_by_Aonon.jpg Hisao’s vizard mask takes the form of a spider. However unlike most masks rather than just cover his face, the old man’s entire head is covered. Around eye level all around the mask are holes outlined in green. These holes appear to be empty until Hisao activates his mask’s ability, during which a yellowish eye appears in each of these.

Effect: By paying 100 reiatsu per turn Hisao can create eyes in all the empty holes of his mask. These eyes give the vizard a 360 degree field of vision. However vision in the new eyes is limited to reiatsu charged attacks and abilities only.

EDIT: Ketchup's Review

Ketchup: Denied
So let me get this straight. You're removing any single piece of information anyone has about their own release. Like, say, how to actually use their release to begin with? How do activate it? How to keep from stabbing themselves in the face with it?

This is an extremely meta-gamey item, one that would require your character have intimate knowledge about a character's release to avoid doing anything but what I just mentioned. Paying 500 reiatsu for not only such a vague effect but one that's got a three round time limit on a C-Tier item? Not happening.

I suggest you think about how you can tone this down. If you want to think about removing someone's ability to do something, wait until you're an appropriate tier. For now think in reduction and mitigation.

Item name: Mask of The Wretched

Tier: D

Mask: Tod’s mask is a simple white mask, no coloring on it at all. It has an almost maddening grin fixed on it, almost splitting the mask from ear to ear. The two eye holes are larger then normal but are always pitch black, even when one isn’t wearing the mask or shining a light in the eyeholes. The mask itself is chitinous, giving it an armored look to it.

Mask Ability: Sin-Eater: By paying 250 Reiatsu Tod can redirect a spell that has a cost of 1.5 times what he paid or less to his worn mask and consume it instead of it causing damage. This ability has a one turn cooldown while he ‘digests’ the spell.

Acquisition: Once Tod managed to beat his hollow his mask was changed. It had an echo of power from the hollow that had lived in him. Once he managed to figure out what it was he could use the hollows own consumptive urges and power.

Never enough reviews.

Tod: Denied
1. 1.5x of 250 is 375. That's a pretty meaningless amount.
2. Items are 1:1. You're not getting 1.5x your value off this.
3. You say you redirect the spell then say you consume it. These are two very different terms.

Lol, didn't expect review to go through so damned fast XD. Alright fixed it and adding more cost to it...Round 2. Fight! Thanks to Raph this thing is even more epic now XD

When he consumes the kidou spell he regains reiatsu equal to the cost of the spell that he consumed. This ability has a one turn cooldown while he ‘digests’ the spell.

Luna’s Bastion

Item Level: Division (B)

Acquisition: Awarded by Captain Tsubaki

Appearance: The armor seems poured of liquid silver. Each piece is smooth and perfect. This silver has also changed the look of his Ascalon so that the gauntlets match the rest of the armor but not his Clairvaux, which maintains a tarnished, coppery look and coloring.

The Ascalon themselves are now carved with intricate swirling patterns similar to those on Zakeriah's sealed zanpakutou but much deeper and obvious than those on the blade. The armoring proceeds up his left arm and onto his shoulder and the upper portion of his back protecting his shoulder blades. Separating him from the cold metal of the armor is a soft black sleeve and glove, the bits of it that can be seen almost seem to be a hole in ones vision for the material is so dark. The cloth and armor is wrapped and fastened with crimson red leather strips similar to those lacing the hilt of his sealed sword.

The shoulder piece of the armor is a snarling wolf head. This is carved with the same symbology and swirls that now adorn his Ascalon. Ornate lobster plates of the same pure silver protect the sides of his abdomen and thighs. (He also has armored shin and foot guards of similar look to his gauntlets but they are rarely seen under his robes.)

Ability: (lengua del diablo) Zak has never been a master of the magical arts, indeed, he finds them rather disdainful. He has therefore had his armor crafted against such things. The ability of his armor allows him effectively 'catch' any energy based attack and redirect it back toward the attacker.

When the attack is captured the etching of the armor flares in the color of the projecting rei but quickly changes to match Zak's rei as the spell/ability becomes ‘his’. He must then immediately return fire or else the effect fades and the energy dissipates.

This ability can only be used once every three (3) turns with a maximum of two (2) uses in a single battle and Zak can spend 1,000 rei to catch the spell, if the ability falls within that range he can make it ‘his’. An actual second use of the ability effectively burns it out and the armor collapses, unable to be activated again in that battle.

Note: Zak can not capture abilities that have no physical manifestation or else manifest as something other than energy. i.e. water/ice, bakudo that takes the form of chains or weights, or abilities that might simply increase the power of their wielder but create no otherwise apparent energy manifestation.
========================

Unique (Upgrade)
Force of Will

Item Level: B

Description: Force appears to be a large black leather belt with twisted metal studs and rusted chains adorning it in a haphazard manner. Zakeriah loosed one of the chains to wrap around his waist in order to loosely hold the overly large accessory in place.

Ability: For 700rei Zak can now project the shockwave emitted from the belt up to 10ft from his body. The blast itself does little damage to anyone within the cone but the force of the blast will send everything in the effected area flying back and out of control for 7 meters. Most damage comes from impacting against something solid while flying out of control.

Acquisition: Zak claimed the belt in a battle with the first of the Master's Aspects, The Lesser. It wore the collar around its neck and the shinigami took the collar as a trophy.

Strain 1 + Strain 2 + Catalyst (optional) = Synthesized Drug

:: Drug Mechanics ::

In a similar vein as Orpheus guns, Cerberus focuses on the use of a variety of soul enhancing drugs. Originally, these drugs served as temporary substitute for agents who had not awakened their powers, nowadays they are used commonly by all members.

Agents are taught basic biochemistry in order to create their own special strains. These drugs are considered Division Items and are bought from the Apothecary.

Drugs are bought in individual ‘strains’, with each strain coming with a host of effects for that drug. Drugs come with a variety of terminology such as, Enhance, Fortify, Grant, Reduce, Rank, Reiatsu Cost, and Price.

When you use a drug, the effects that you get will be based off what your current stat spread is like. Though, by mixing drugs you get the ability to customize the drug as you want.

Enhance -
Drugs with an Enhance effect affect an Advent human technique or stat in some way. Usually to activate a drug with an enhance effect, they have a stat-requirement to make sure the user can use the technique it enhances. Enhancing a stat does not grant them any additional division techniques.

Fortify -
Fortify effects are mainly defensive and boost the human’s defenses against a type of attack. For example, Fortify Energy increases the human’s ability to resist energy based attacks.

Grant -
Grant effects are pretty much what they sound like, they give the human an ability they may not originally have had. Grant Pyromancy, for example, gives the human a limited amount of control over flames.

Reduce -
Reduce effects usually do not affect the user but instead are drugs which are used upon enemies. The way the drugs are transmitted are based on the drug in question, but almost all of the time they debilitate the target in one way or another.

Rank -
This category is the level that each strain resides in and restricts which agents can buy said drug. The rank of drugs a person can buy is based off the ranking chart. Higher ranked strains are often more powerful than their lower ranked strains.

Reiatsu Cost -
This category describes how much the user must pay in reiatsu to activate the drug.

Price -
This category describes how much the user must pay in credits to buy the drug. Higher ranked drugs often cost more than lower ranked drugs. Credits can be gained through the completion of missions.

Time Active -
Non-mixed strains remain active for a flat amount of five turns.If mixed, the number of turns the drugs have is varied.

:: Drug Mixing FAQ ::

Mixing of strains can only occur after learning the Synthesis Technique. While normally, strains can be injected in their base state, combining strains can lead to more powerful and varied drugs. Simply put, if two strains have overlapping effects, the strength of the effect becomes stronger.

Combining drugs occurs mid-battle and follows this simple formula:

Strain 1 + Strain 2 + Catalyst (optional) = Synthesized Drug

A catalyst in the scientific terminology is an additive which accelerates the reaction. While not a true catalyst, as these very much affect that combined drug, they are necessary for combining strains. Unlike normal strains, catalysts generally have only a single effect, though it it always added into the final string. Adding a catalyst is optional.

When combining drugs, two drugs of the same type can even be combined, yielding a much more powerful version of the original. Drugs of two different ranks can also be combined together to yield a new one.

The effects of a combined drug are completely based on the original two mixed in. The mixed abilities you get is dependent on what your main stats are and what abilities are default abilities.

Grant effects upon combination are straight-forward, simply granting both new abilities to the user, or if the same drug is combined with itself, giving them better control over the skill.

Enhance effects which effect stats simply give the combined bonuses. For example an Enhance Agility which increases the stat by 200 is combined with itself, Agility is increased by 400. Enhancing a technique follows the same trend.

Fortify follows the same trend as both bonuses are added to the defenses in question.

Reduce effects are combined together as well. Upon contact with the enemy target, both effects are inflicted to the target. If the effects were supposed to be given in two different ways, such as one being physical contact, and one being air based, a single vector can be chosen instead.

When strains are mixed, the total number of tuns they last is varied. Instead of remaining active for a flat five turns, mixing strains reduce the time the drugs are active to 3 turns.

Ability
When cutting an opponent, Manzou may instantly remove a selected piece of information from the victim's mind that pertains to the solitary ability of Manzou's Zanpakutou, Mizuma, and/or one of his previously-used Kidou spells (up to one Kidou spell). When the opponent is cut, they become unaware of Tatsunokuchi's unique abilities (the tongue that protrudes from the blade and the effect of the saliva), effectively making it as if they are seeing Manzou's release for the first time after they are cut by Kaisoukaki.

Remove the 3 turn cooldown and that footnote about the physical manifestation. If attacks are incapable of being 'caught' then they are simply negated by the item.

Force of Will: Denied
You must include previous versions of an upgraded item, and include the full ability of the item in the upgrade. You simply stated how the item was improved, not what it actually does overall.

I can't believe these haven't been subbed yet...

[Lightning Rounds]

Initially developed for instances when agents need to subdue spiritual threats without killing them, Lightning rounds are composed of lightweight ferric compounds and house a specially-designed piezoelectric node as opposed to a lead slug. These tiny devices are activated by the pressure created when they strike their targets, releasing a surge of electric energy intended to interrupt voluntary muscle control – functioning similarly to a taser. While intended to be non-lethal, higher voltage rounds used for larger game are fully capable of delivering a deadly shock to smaller targets and should be used with caution.
