Resubbing Force of will upgrade

original
Force of Will
Unique Item
Item level: D

Description: The Force appears to be a large black leather belt with twisted metal studs and rusted chains adorning it in a haphazard manner. Zakeriah loosed one of the chains to wrap around his waist in order to loosely hold the overly large accessory in place.

Ability: For 100 reiatsu the belt emits a shockwave in a three foot radius around Zakeriah. At this stage the pressure is very weak and will not be able to cause harm to anyone, the primary function is to unbalance or push away someone too close. This can force even a stalwart opponent back a couple of feet. This ability takes a turn to recharge and Zak can not direct the blast in the slightest, it projects in an oblong radius of three feet from the frame of his body.

Acquisition: Zak claimed the belt in a battle with a large creature called The Lesser. It wore the collar around its neck and the shinigami took the collar as a trophy.
Item Level: B

Description: Force appears to be a large black leather belt with twisted metal studs and rusted chains adorning it in a haphazard manner. Zakeriah loosed one of the chains to wrap around his waist in order to loosely hold the overly large accessory in place.

Ability: For 700rei Zak can still create the powerful barrier shock wave around his body but he can also now choose to in instead project the shock wave up to 10ft from his body. The blast itself does little damage to anyone within the cone but the force of the blast will send everything in the effected area flying back and out of control for 7 meters. Most damage comes from impacting against something solid while flying out of control.
Name: Misogi - "Purification Ceremony”
Rank: S
Appearance:

In its dormant state Misogi is embedded directly into Ciro’s right hand. While dormant, the supernatural material causes spiral shaped markings, colored a pale silver, throughout his hand and extending up his arm. Furthermore, the markings extend across the right-half of his face.

When given enough reiatsu, the material reacts with his energy signature, and activates. The material coalesces as a small sphere, a color similar to pure mercury, and revolves around his body. The size of the sphere is roughly the size of his fist and has a durability relative to even zanpaktou.

Abilities:

Due to being merged to his body when dormant, the material has taken quite a liking to Ciro’s reiatsu. Likewise, Ciro has found that his control over the material is much greater than with any of his other created items.

The substance is self replicating, allowing it to create additional mass at will. Doing such, it can increase its weight to up to 250 lbs. Furthermore, it can be directly affected by any of Ciro’s substance modifying feats and kai techniques, allowing its shape to be easily modified. When the objects he creates out of the object are destroyed, the orb reforms its original base weight and shape.

By paying 500 reiatsu, once per turn, Ciro can cause the orb to replicate, allowing him to create additional mass.

Furthermore, due to his increased connection with the orb, he can apply the abilities of his feats, items and abilities even without physical contact with the orb, as long as it is in the 20 meter radius around him at the time. At any point, he can call the orb back towards him, causing the substance to dissolve and reform near him.

Acquisition:

Will be written, hopefully, in this next arc. If you want to know IM Colin since I want to still make it dramatic :<

Name: Kyakuhonka - "Scriptwriter"
Item: Unique
Rank: A
Appearance:

An upgraded version of the Rider-Waite tarot deck, this new version was created within Cerberus R&D. While the basic names and types of cards are the same, the difference is the material. Based off a newly developed synthetic fiber, this substance easily accepts Ciro’s reiatsu, allowing him to use them in his abilities. The background of the deck is completely teal, with a set of white arcane markings dotting the card.

Ability:

Created from his own DNA, Ciro is able to extend the reach of his power to the tarot cards. Made in Cerberus R&D, this special deck allows him to use each individual cards as a medium for his powers.

Passively, Kyakuhonka continuously draws out Ciro’s memories and stores them in the card as back-ups. If Ciro has had his memory altered in anyway, the deck glows, signalling that there are memories missing.

Furthermore, when activating his Three-Card Spread ability, by paying the full cost of the ability, instead of choosing one of his opponent’s memories, he can choose one of his own memories instead, changing the environment to copy the environment in the card. He is able to activate a smaller version of this ability outside of battle, allowing him to create a non-corporeal illusion which takes up the space, roughly the size of a room which others can view. To form this illusion, Ciro pays 100 reiatsu. The illusion is completely unable to interact with the people or objects in the physical world

Acquisition:

Knowing full and well the memory wiping powers of the spiritual beings around him, Ciro realized that he needed a way to protect his memories to escape the devastating repercussions if he was to forget a particularly vital memory. Using a sample form his own DNA, the cards were created to work only for himself, allowing him to retain his knowledge permanently.

Because my S-rank is effected by a bunch of feats and kai abilities, I'll just link you to my profile post since i'd prty much just have to c/p it.

and the post after has the feats.

Cur: Force of Will: Approved with Changes
Ability:
For 1000 reiatsu Zakeriah projects an omni-directional shock wave from his body, reaching for up to 10 feet away from him, lessening in range at his will. Though incapable of direct damage, the shock wave is quite powerful and is capable of knocking back most objects and opponents regardless of their size, throwing them into other hazards all the same.

Hiren: Misogi: Approved with Changes
Description:
Material is subject to earthly laws – including gravity.

Abilities:
Due to being merged to his body when dormant, the material has taken quite a liking to Ciro’s reiatsu. Likewise, Ciro has found that his control over the material is much greater than with any of his other created items.

The substance is self replicating, allowing it to create additional mass at will. Doing such, it can increase its weight to occupy a full 10 square meters, growing at a rate of 2 meters per turn. Furthermore, it can be directly affected by any of Ciro’s substance modifying feats and kai techniques, allowing its shape to be easily modified.

Though its amorphous state makes damage nearly impossible, any physical or energy-based damage sustained reduces any solid state it assumes into nothingness, forcing it back into its liquid state. Regardless of its state or shape, Misogi may be recalled to Ciro by paying 1000 reiatsu, provided it is within 10m.

Kyakuhonka: Approved with Changes
Ability:

Your bat-radar for missing memories is unnecessary and not explained in any way. Ciro's powers don't give notice to missing memories, so providing a fail-safe like that is a no-go. Everything else is fine.

[- Ama-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi – "Sword of the Gathering Clouds of Heaven” -]
[- Item Rarity -] Unique
[- Item Rank -] S-Tier

[- Item Physical Description -]
Ama-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi – "Murakumo” for short – takes on the form of a straight, double-edged sword. When not touched by a true heir to the Amaterasu household, the blade appears ragged, dented and broken beyond repair - though one can see the kanji for fire and wind on differing sides of the hilt.

It is only when in the hands of one such as Amaterasu Nana that the blade shows its true colours, turning from a rustic brown to a smooth golden, encased with a scorching hot, red hue - the kanji for fire showing on both sides of the hilt - or a smooth silver, encased in an icy cold, blue hue - the kanji for wind showing on both sides of the hilt.

Having been forged from the spirits of old, Murakumo is as strong and durable as a sealed zanpakutou when wielded.

[- Item Abilities -]
[- Moeagaru – "To Burst into Flames -]
By paying 2000 reiatsu while in its golden release, Murakumo encases the wielder’s entire arm into a scorching flame, burning everything that comes across it. This flame lasts for three turns, unless released earlier, at which point it dims down again.

By paying an additional 1000 reiatsu, the wielder can opt to make the next swing release the full extent of the flames at the enemy – this may also be executed upon physical contact.

[- Arekuurukaze – "Raving Wind -]
By paying 2000 reiatsu while in its silver release, Murakumo encases the wielder’s entire arm into a raving, transient wind reverberating with a high-pitched tone throughout the battlefield, vibrating so intense that it cuts anything it comes in contact with. This vibrating wind lasts for three turns, unless released earlier, at which point the wind ceases.

By paying an additional 1000 reiatsu, the wielder can opt to make the next swing release the full extent of the vibrating wind at the enemy – this may also be executed upon physical contact.

If at any one point the blade breaks the wielder can pay 1000 reiatsu to repair it whole again. If the blade is out of the wielder’s reach, but still within 10 meters of the user, they may opt to pay 1000 reiatsu to recall it back to their hand.

Dislinir

Unique B-Tier Item

Description: After working with the Peacekeepers for several trying days, including the day the Central Forty-Six was attacked, Adelaide became familiar with some of their equipment, particularly an armguard called a Talos. Talos, a signature tool of the division, were constructed using fragments of a meteorite from Katsuji Ishin’s bankai moon that once rested within the Thirteenth’s grounds along the Iris River.

Adelaide, in honor both of her time with the now defunct Peacekeepers and her admiration for the captive Captain, has repurposed the bankai moonbits into a pair of bracelets she calls "Dislinir”, Norse for "Goddess Shields”. The bracelets are gunmetal gray in color, with a ruby, emerald and topaz set equidistant from one another, as if the bracelets were ornate insignias of the Eighth Division. The theory was that even in this diminished form, a metal generated by bankai would be a strong enough conductor of Adelaide’s Kenkyouka abilities to generate an effective barrier on command.

Ability
: By employing the methodology of Kenkyouka, Adelaide can expend 10% base reiatsu to project a shield in front of her. The shield of Dislinir can withstand power of equal or lesser value, but only so long as it is maintained. A turn where Adelaide maintains her shield she can take no other action requiring the expenditure of reiatsu. Every time an ability is deflected by the Dislinir shield has its reiatsu cost is deducted from the shield’s power. Adelaide can, once per turn not including the turn of activation, reinforce and maintain her shield by paying the difference between full strength and damage done to her shield. If the total amount of damage done to her shield exceeds the total strength of the shield, she may not use it for the remainder of combat. When Adelaide dismisses the shield of her own accord, its remaining power is returned to her.

Acquisition: Materials obtained with permission from Ishin in Off the Record and forged with the assistance of Udo in forthcoming chapter Its only a Bankai Moon whenever Pho gets back.

Romana: Dislinir: Denied
1) No scaling costs (Paying 10% of your reiatsu is a no. Flat costs only.)
2) No variable costs (Barrier rules are barrier rules. You don't get to pay a variable difference to reinforce them.)
3) No refunds on costs. (This feels a bit tacked on, to be honest.)

This item will not pass as is and I would recommend you read the Item FAQ before proceeding.

After giving it some thought, I threw out the original ability of Dislinir (and the one I posted here by mistake) in favor of something a little more Ish, which makes more sense.

Ability
: While originally conceptualized as a shield operating on the principles of Kenkyouka, the mineral used to construct Dislinir proved to have a rather different expression of power. Dislinir affects the local gravity around Adelaide. At the cost of 500 reiatsu once per turn, Adelaide can weaken or strengthen the pull of gravity on an object, causing something she touches to become either a great deal heavier or lighter for two turns after Dislinir is used. There are limits to how greatly something's weight can be augmented - only up to double or down to half its original weight.

Acquisition: Materials obtained with permission from Ishin in Off the Record and forged with the assistance of Udo in forthcoming chapter Its only a Bankai Moon whenever Pho gets back.

Stun baton hanger, get. This is on the UP side, but it'll do for now until I feel like fleshing it out more/making a better item for my tier.

Name: B308 NARUKAMI - 鳴神

Tier: A-Rank (Unique)

Flavour text: A pair of highly advanced prototypes produced by APACHE at the request of Masato Fujikawa following the Initiative’s reintroduction to the United Nations special task force, the B303 Narukami was designed in order to give the user a viable form of defense when fighting in close-quarters. As Orpheus agents are trained to leverage the extensive range of their weapons, having to fight foes who specialize in melee combat puts them at a distinct disadvantage should the enemy get near to them. The Narukami remedies this by providing a broad, electrofied striking edge along the bottom of a firearm. Consisting of a long, cylindrical rod held between two electrodes (one protruding from the end of the weapon, and one near the trigger), this attachment is capable of delivering sizable and sustained electric shocks to any conductive material -- namely blades or exposed flesh -- while also being robust enough to defend against attacks at close ranges. Combined with the Major’s posthuman reflexes and gunplay prowess, the Narukami can also function as an effective offense if Masato is ever deprived of ammo or in a situation where fighting from extreme range is impractical. Each accessory is roughly one foot from end to end and extends the length of the equipped weapon’s barrel considerably. This could be seen as both a benefit and a detriment, as the extra reach would be valuable in close range fighting, but would detract from the firearms stability in the hands of anyone less than an expert, making it unlikely that APACHE will ever mass-produce the prototype.

Effect: Mechanically speaking, the Narukami functions using specially-designed transformers that convert the user’s spiritual energy into electrical potential. It costs Masato roughly 1k reiatsu to charge one of the rods with electricity, and a charge may remain for up to three turns before the weapon’s capacitors are purged to avoid overloading the circuit. Any conductive material that comes in contact with the rods while charged are subject to a high-voltage shock, interfering with voluntary muscle control and causing superficial burns.

Acquisition: Commissioned by Masato after receiving renewed funding from the United Nations. Built by APACHE.

Whoops, had a brainfart there. Intended to put down 1k, not 1%. I was tired =_=.

Item Name
Jigoku no Kinko Rokumen'in (地獄の円蓋六面印, Six-Sided Seal of the Infernal Vault)

Item Type
Unique

Item Tier
B

Description
A rustic, bronze mirror that is relatively the size of a CD-ROM disc; it is small enough to fit comfortably in Manzou’s uniform. The design of a dragon is etched into the eroded surface; the dragon coils from the edge and towards the sun in the middle with several different worldly possessions and elements within the bowels of its stomach, symbolizing the consumptive nature of the beast.

Abilities
On its own, Jigoku no Kinko Rokumen’in has little to no usage and can be broken by even the least comparable opponents. However, when it is introduced to Manzou’s spiritual energy or his bankai, Yoku no Amatsukeshin, the shield disintegrates and expands into an immense, black flame-like version of itself with a 5-meter radius which the ethereal manifestation now wields in its left hand. Manzou pays 1,000 Reiatsu to activate the shield which acts as a barrier to repel all directly-offensive projectile attacks. The barrier lasts until it is wilted down; once the shield has been exhausted there is a 3-round cooldown period before Manzou can re-activate the shield again. While in use during Bankai, this also Yoku no Amatsukeshin's Mujihi Surasuto attack. This can also be used outside of bankai; the upper half manifests a few feet in front of him while on the ground, forming as a semicircular barrier with a 2-meter radius. When in the air, it is fully exposed as a fully circular shield.

Mujihi Surasuto (無慈悲なスラスト, Merciless Sweep): Manzou can pay 1,000 Reiatsu to manifest a second white sword in the other hand of Yoku no Amatsukeshin.

S Rank
The Bay Ray System

An item with two parts that work together.

Name:
It's Clam!
Appearance:
So named because it looks like an open clam with a handle on the hinge. It is painted completed white and there is a glass dome where the meat would usually be. A targeting laser is held within the dome.
Ability:
This is not a unique item. It can be mass produced and handed out to other people without taking up an item slot. The targeting laser sends coordinate information on what it is pointed at.

Name:
The Doorway With Nothing on Either Side
Appearance:
It looks like a ring made of dark green metal, large enough to be held by both hands. A holographic screen that displays information is framed by the ring.
Ability:
It can track every It's Clam! no matter where they are. It even works through dimensions.

The real ability of TDWNoES is to open a portal, up to 30 meters in diameter from the sky of its current location to the sky over wherever a targeting laser is being aimed. The portal is too dangerous to be used by living or spiritual beings but anything else can pass through it without ill effect.

It costs 1000 reiatsu per portal though portals may stay open as long as the targeting laser remains active. Only one portal may be open at a time.

Acquisition:
It's Mussel! (a.k.a. still figuring that out)

[Obelisk of the Unearthly Laws]

Tier: S

Appearance: A large crystal clear piece of twisted earth kept within Haresuno’s office, standing well above the tall captain and weighs over two hundred pounds. Whereas most obelisk are straight and tapered into a pyramid top, the Obelisk of Unearthly Laws is jagged and follows a lightning pattern. Depending on where you stand and for how long, the color of the crystal will change, making it a unique rock with multicolor properties. Though crude in appearance it gives off an omnipotent feeling when standing close to it, and if listened to closely a natural hum can be heard.

Ability: Sacrificing 1,000 of his reiatsu, Haresuno need not worry about death so readily. Should Haresuno need to he will be summoned back to the Fifth division with only a 100 reiatsu. This 1,000 reiatsu is subtracted from Haresuno’s overall pool while he has not been teleported, and is slowly returned to him only after he has jumped.

As a secondary ability, the obelisk acts as an amplifier to Haresuno’s reiatsu perception allowing him to cast AoE spells at targets within the Fifth Division. To do this, however, Haresuno has to pay 200 in additional cost separate from the kidou spell for every km outside the normal range of the spell.

Acquisition: TBA

Finny: Review Pending
Sorry Finz, I need an acquisition from you first.

Undies: Denied
Let me walk you through this one:

1) You are giving yourself transdimensional teleportation for a cost that nowhere near appropriate. As a point of comparison, Sayis' Karinoyo requires him to pay 1000 reiatsu per use (that is to teleport it to someone, and then again to teleport himself to it) and allows him to only travel in the same plane of existence. You're allowing yourself an instantaneous return for a ridiculously low cost.

2) You are introducing a mechanic that is poorly explained and is given no rate of return. Are you giving yourself a permanent drain to your reiatsu until you bleed it back? You're providing no clear outline on this mechanic other than a single number (and one that does not suit the power level of the item or an S-Tier in general, at that).

3) This secondary ability feels not only tacked on, but also rather out of line. I fail to see what teleportation has to do with casting AoE spells, let alone over sheer kilometres of distance for a cost of a measly 200 reiatsu. This has no place in this item, and it alone might make me consider it the primary ability. Setting no number limitation, no range limitation, and an extremely low cost? Really?

4) I don't know how many times I'm going to have to do this, but I'm finally putting my foot down on it - no more holding back your acquisitions. Period. S-Tiers have massive acquisitions because they're S-Tiers. That means you let us know how you're supposed to get something of this kind of power, and it doesn't mean you get to be extremely cryptic to the RP about it. Same way a Feat needs an explanation behind its acquisition, so does an item.

This item is in no exaggerated way, broken. I know you're better than this, and I know you can try better than this Undies. I gave you off the record help with the last one you had, and you turned it down to submit this.
